I completely agree. These companies are charging outrageous prices, as if we're buying pieces of art rather than action figures. They keep testing us with these prices to see how much they can squeeze out of our wallets. For instance, take a look at that Mondo Sky Sled. It has zero articulation, with only the steering control turning left and right. Big deal. It comes with a few blast effects and two custom heads that look like Jake Paul, all for 400 bucks. That's crazy, especially when Battle Cat was fully articulated, had three heads, removable armor, and Cringer. Despite the backlash from every collector group for MOTU, they haven't addressed the issue. Instead, they did a live UA-cam video, going over the whole product trying to sell it as if it were invaluable, while fans called them out in the chat. Yet, scalpers and some fans ordered it out of fear of missing out. If anyone ordered it, they sent Mondo a message that the price was acceptable when it clearly wasn't. Just like with this Death Dealer figure, collectors need to take a stand. I have an over-the-top toy budget with no wife and no kids, but even I felt like I was being taken advantage of. It was like a junior varsity stripper giving me a 2-minute lap dance and charging me twice.

Totally agree with you! I can't bring myself to play $350. That said, I was able to get the Mezco figure and another local collector hooked me up with the headless horseman's horse. So I am good. Still if the price had been decent I probably would have bought this one too.
I mean people bought his Mr Hyde figure for 80$ and sold it for 300 $ on ebay. So its hard to argue that his prices are to high in terms of demand and supply. I didnt get that horse because im not interested in horses but I will get one of these fantastic 70-80$ bloodstrike figures. Its just Art. Loosecollector was the most popular custom maker. He is an Artist. Art can be very expensive. He sold his customs for like 500$ or something. Of course he makes it in a factory now but the design is still loosecollectors art. So to get a figure that looks exactly as beautiful as a loosecollector custom but is higher in quality because its made in a factory is just great. The paint is not custom paint that suffers from paint rub and such. Its now made so it can really be used like a factory toy. Basically art in terms of design and factory in terms of quality. So I think the price is ok. Of course he could make it cheaper but maybe he doesnt produce a large quantity. If people pay it why not.
When I seen the photo pop up of Death Dealer I was excited. Like you I missed out on the Mezco and I’m no way paying aftermarket prices on it.. then I seen $350 and was like that’s a big no from me! Totally agree with you Gains. 🤙🏻
when I saw that listing, I said to my girlfriend, it's stupid, if he made it $200, I would have bought it no question ask, but not 350, that's more expensive than some of the HasLab offering. Storm Collectivles' deluxe Axe Battler set come with a big guy, a dragon and skeleton enenies, and its half the price.
I want that Death Dealer & Horse & was all set to pre order.. then I saw the price. Nope. Hey, I’m a single guy with no kids. I’m a thousand-aire, I could easily buy it with no sweat. But it’s just not an accurate price for what ya get.
Thanks for pointing it out. The prices from LC were always high they just took it next level of ridiculous. Best if collectors stop supporting such projects. For now use Mezco and Mythic Legions horse.
The Mezco Death Dealer was very expensive even at retail price, but the detail and accessories did somewhat make up for it. It’s probably my favorite Mezco figure. Even Mezco would get grilled for making a horse cost $200 in addition to the base figure. Loosecollector figures look fine, but there is simply a level of detail and quality lacking in them to be in the same price range as import/Mezco figures. The worst part is that their Death Dealer doesn’t even look that great. I’m sure a good chunk of people just want the horse.
I personally don’t see $350USD value on this one. It would be different if there was something about the set that justified it in my head, but based on the photos alone I can’t get there mathematically and cross that bridge. It could very well be what Loose Collector feels is fair based on design, manufacturing costs and profitability , I can’t speak anyone’s business plans, but the market will decide whether or not it/they think it’s fair. Half that cost would still have me passing, but would have been ‘reasonable’. However, when I saw the price tag , like I said, I can’t get there. The Headless Horseman from The Four Horseman, which I have and is an amazing piece, to me, buries this at $140USD on BBTS. Would leave about $200 left after tax and shipping comparatively. I get they’re different licenses and audiences but sheesh 🙂

I have found incorrect pricing's on BBts and let them know they made a mistake and they don't check right away so maybe they could have made an error .

I'm with you, when I heard it was loose collector I thought it would be 250, still not willing to pay that though. I see Loose collector as drastically overpriced. I recently caved to get Shi because I did like that comic when it was out and I am just going to say it's cut corners several ways and long story short it's not a $75 figure. That is ludicrous.

I like them but their too high in price but I did get the Hyde figure for Christmas my girlfriend got for me,and he's the only one I have ,,I got DC multiverse, marvel legends, transformer's,starwars vintage collection an a few Black series,an other figures ,with the loose collectors price ,I can buy a whole wave or two of other lines💯 I can do with out loose collectors figures don't get me wrong they're nice but when the day is over with they're just toy's 😜👍

The price is way out of my range but without knowing what his costs are, I would be foolish to say that it's an outrageous price. And I just can't get on board with this attitude. Nobody has to buy this and nobody needs it, it's a novelty. Maybe he wants this product to have a distinguished place on the market where not so many people have it, which creates another layer of value. But overall there is a level of entitlement in the adult collector world that I find particularly gross and immature, and it all comes back to what I just typed; none of us have to have it, so there's no point in getting upset. Don't buy the thing.
