I go through seasons of interest with Star Wars. Every now and then I just get really back into it. But it usually revolves around the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War. This year specifically, I got the most into clones I've ever been.
I love Star Wars! It’s my favorite franchise and ESB is my absolute favorite movie. I’ll give anything SW a chance. But I recently re-watched the sequels and didn’t enjoy it too much. I also didn’t enjoy the acolyte for the same reasons you stated. And I really don’t like Andor at all. But I know others love it, and that’s cool. It’s just not for me. I try to always just sit back not take SW to seriously. George Lucas famously stated in interviews that it was always meant for kids. So to me the day I stop enjoying SW is the day my inner child dies 😂 great video Gains🤙🏻 have a great weekend
I’m with you Gains. I will always love Star Wars. Thats where it all began when I was five years old seeing the first movie on the big screen. My dad took me to see it when he came home from being stationed in Korea. The Black Series is what got me back into collecting around six years ago. I will watch the new series that’s coming out but I couldn’t watch the last one. No reason. I just wasn’t interested in it. Thanks for sharing and have a good day sir.
None of us should give up on Star Wars. Yeah there’s been some crap and I can look at what’s not great abd just say “that’s a misstep.” And I can over explain why I feel that way. In the end that first set of movies. Rouge one and several others, it just works and it’s fun. Glad to see someone feels similar to me.
I’ve got a few of the figures from the games but never played the games. It’s cool have more dathomerians and other characters. The skeleton crew figures are out already?
STAR WARS was a huge part of my childhood. Disney has destroyed any hope of new or continuing content. I collect classic Black series 6inch figures and helmets only. I continue to collect vintage when I find a good deal.
I've been ignoring bad Star Wars stuff since 1999, it's no big deal. I think it's funny how so many people forced themselves to watch Episode 1 over and over until they convinced themselves it wasn't terrible. The Force Awakens felt more like real Star Wars, but ultimately lead to nothing. Rogue One and Andor are fantastic and The Mandalorian has been consistently good IMO.
@@OGTrilogy I still like Force Awakens a lot. In Hindsight I wish Rey went to the Darkside and Finn had to take her out but suppose that Would be a little to dark.
When I was collecting 🤔i think I was like you 🤔no single property is perfect 😅 it's about certain character's or space craft 😅 so I used to try and be across the board with lots of things😅i envy people in some ways who found the perfect thing for them 😅cos I never did😅 most things have flaws😮
From Go-Bots to Sex-Bots, the evolution of a Toy-Pervert. Imagine if you will, being inside a Sex-Bot while riding inside a Go-Bot. Star Wars can’t compare to that fantasy. Gains you’re the man. 👍🏼
I don't get the blanket, "Oh Disney ruined Star Wars, now it all sucks". There is so much content you can really pick and choose what works for you. For me, I like the OT and OT adjacent. I'm not much for the prequels or sequels. So "my" Star Wars is Bad Batch, Rebels, Solo, Andor, Rogue 1, OT, and The Mandalorian. I collect Black Series from these. I like a lot of the comics - most of the Dr Aphra stuff was pretty good. I've read a TON of the novels since the 90s. A lot were really good, some were terrible. I didn't like the whole Yuuzhan Vong thing all that much. It was too grimdark for Star Wars imo. I'm currently reading the new Thrawn novels. I've played a lot of the games over the years. I bought my first CD-ROM so I could play Dark Forces and TIE Fighter. Those games are still pretty epic imo. And I'll try anything new that comes along. I gave up on The Acolyte because it really wasn'y very good. I enjoyed Kenobi for the most part. I'm kind of looking forward to The Skeleton Crew because it looks like it might be fun. And I can always go back and rewatch any of it at any time. TL:DR - I still love Star Wars, because there is a lot of Star Wars to love.
I wish I had your optimism Mate. Star Wars died after Rouge One... cinematic wise. Clone Wars rocked, Rebels was fun and Mando 1 and 2 was good but the Disney magic of long ago is NOT there anymore. I'm a firm believer that 7,8,9 should of been The Thrawn Trilogy. Until Nelson Peltz finally takes over Disney... Star Wars is dead for me. But I respect your opinion Mate. We can agree to disagree this time. Cheers. 😊
I’m with you Gains! That’s my childhood still have that soft spot but I still can see when shit is shit 😂 great video sir. Cheers
I'll never give up, but we're on a break.

More power to ya. I gave up after Last Jedi, haven't watched anything after that.
Last Jedi doesn't exist to me anymore. I just avoid the shit I don't like.
@Toygains pretty much, there are only 6 star wars movies. And Rogue One.
Great video ! It may not always be perfect but there are few properties that continue to inspire pop culture like SW.
Star Wars was my first cinematic love. I can never truly be done with it. I’d love to get my kids more into it
Well put gains it’s about having fun not bringing everyone else’s fun down
