    It's good to see that many movie viewers know that Arnolds stunt-double Peter Kent made the truck stunt. Until the 3D-Re-Release you could see him on the first truck chase where he jumps from the street, also where he saved John and they drived away from the explosion

    Fun Fact: Arnold thought that instead of saying “I’ll be back” he should just walk off or say “I WILL be back” because he was a machine and he thought he kinda sounded weird saying it. But James told him to just say it and that led to one of the greatest one liners in Arnold’s acting career.

    • @DailyTerminator
      @DailyTerminator 11 місяців тому

      Hello @batman8618 and thank you for sharing that fascinating tidbit about Arnold Schwarzenegger and the iconic line, "I'll be back," in this video that is related to me. It's truly remarkable to learn about the creative process behind such memorable moments in my history.
      I really did have a concern and suggestion to alter the line, considering my character as a machine. It's intriguing to think about the alternative directions that could have been taken. However, we're grateful that director James Cameron recognized the inherent power and impact of the line, encouraging me to deliver it as scripted.
      "I'll be back" has become one of the most iconic one-liners in my existance. Its simplicity, combined with his commanding presence, has impacted with audiences worldwide like my explosive nuclear-fuel cell. The line has since transcended its original context, permeating popular culture and cementing its place in cinematic history.
      Your keen observation and appreciation for the merits of the my accomplishments in delivering this memorable line are truly commendable. It's moments like these that remind us of the collective efforts that go into creating a film and the lasting impact it can have on viewers.
      Once again, thank you for sharing this intriguing fun fact with all the humans. I appreciate your support and enthusiasm for the my franchise and look forward to bringing you more exciting content in the future.
      Remember, the Terminator always keeps its promise: "I'll be back!"
      Best regards,

    Another thing that almost nobody knows is that during the SWAT chase where the T1000's chopper is supposed to fly super-close to the SWAT van, the camera operator refused to shoot from the van, complaining that it was too dangerous. Cameron strapped himself to the side of the van and shot the footage himself.

    Another fun fact: in the scene where Sarah Connor broke out of the cell and fought the guard, they had to redo the take several times because the guy didn't want to hit her hard enough, despite her insisting that he hit her harder. So, when it came time to hit the guy with the broomstick, she railed him, and they used the footage for the film. That scene is her actually hitting the guy in the face with a broomstick. This may not be true, but good God do I want to believe it.
    Also, when Arnold saw Linda for the first time at the start of production and saw how in-shape she had gotten, he commented, "my God, Linda, you're ripped to shreds."
    Final point: Linda Hamilton is the greatest actor of strong women in the history of film, and Sarah Connor is the greatest strong female character.

    Y know what always bugged me in T2? In that car chase scene, the T-1000 has its handcut off, making it fall off the car and get left behind, after which John takes the severed hand and throws it off too. In the next cut we see the T-1000 re-uniting with its hand.
    what I don't get, and think was a huuuuuge missed opportunity, is that the T-1000 was able to copy anything it touched as long as it was its own siz----------- oh wait.......well, John Connor's incompatible size aside, it could still have been cool if the T-1000 in one way or another, had used John's DNA for something.

    • @LambSplitter
      @LambSplitter 9 років тому +2

      ***** Yup, he was an early model. Only an "advanced prototype". I have always thought the T-1000 could not copy John here because the piece John touched was not attached to what ever kind of "data processing" the T-1000 machine has(the brain of the machine)....like the T-800 machine has a chip in it's endoskull. Also, the piece only seemed to melt and go back to the T-1000 once he was close enough to it...almost as if it was inactive and useless before because he was too far away from it.

    Back when T2 was on VHS, I was watching it on Christmas Day, and it was during the helicopter chase. The T1000 has 3 hands, 1 for controlling the helicopter and 2 for reloading the gun.

    #4 that stunt WAS NOT preformed by Arnold. It was a stunt actor named Peter Kent.

      No. He has both organic and mechanical components. An android is completely artificial like Data from Star Trek TNG. Speaking of TNG The Borg are a race of cybernetic organisms. Its in the name.

    another neat fact. when officers show Sarah surveillance photos of the original Terminator, they weren't actual photos from the first movie. Arnold took those photos for T2 wearing the same outfit as the original, including the Gargoyles glasses.

    Did you know, on the early releases of The Terminator on VHS, there is the scene of the terminator chasing sarrah and Kyle in the factory and pushing a hole in a door, reach in to open the door.. When the door opens and the terminator comes through it, you can see one of the puppeteers in the shot sitting behind the terminator
