I'm surprised you didn't get a sponsorship from Harbor Freight for this... As someone who is VERY familiar with their catalog, I'm pretty sure EVERY single tool you used (even the bike lift itself) was from HF; everything except maybe the belt sander. #hardons4harborfreight
Love the "bread and butter" content, but it's fun to see something different every now and then. Keep up the good work and keep following your passions man!
Pro tip for them HF grinders. Get 3 of them armed with the different discs you use. It'll save time and prolong their usefulness because the lock button on them is super flimsy.
Nice video, appreciate it. Too bad you went so fast on the front end. The springer fork is really nice. What did you so to make it look like this? Did you take the bike to 38 degrees? Or? What is the rake on this?
When everything is said and done, I hope those pipes are not in the way of someone’s leg when they’re riding because that would be third-degree burn worthy if contact is made..
It's a different thing. I've owned many motorcycles, from tweaked Ducatis to BMWs to HDs. And they all make me grin. Saying a HD doesn't handle is like saying a squid rocket doesn't jump. I've ridden an HD across Australia and back, including 2000km on rough gravel. Didn't drop it once, so it clearly "handles". It's an oft-repeated saying, but it's true: If you don't get it, maybe it's not for you. That's not a criticism, and it's not peculiar to HDs. It's also true for D&D (which I totally don't get) and high heels, and wearing trucker hats backwards.
At the end of the day, it's really for style. Apart from lightening the bike up somewhat, it doesn't do anything for comfort, handling, road-holding etc. That said, motorcycles have until fairly recently in their evolution, always been hardtails, and most bicycles still are. The trade-off, for a bike meant to be typically ridden at sane speeds on paved roads in fine weather, isn't a big deal. What it loses in practicality, it (in the eyes of its fans) more than makes up for in simplicity, garage-buildability (😁), looks, and what I guess would be called authenticity. If you want an old bare-bones chopper or bobber, it 'has to have' a hard-tail...
I gotta say, there is a certain loss of my respect for you. You chose to ruin what seemed to be a bike that was in good condition. Really hate to see that happen.
It’s his channel and he can post whatever the hell he wants,if it’s something he enjoys and wants to share with the world. No one has a say into what a maker or content creator posts on his/hers socials unless the maker/content creator specifically asks. If I was him,I’d keep this series going and I wouldn’t give a damn if it gets 5 views instead of a million as long as it was enjoyable for him!
@@OgeiDennepeL No one has a say? Then why is there a comment section? Why does the content creator ask for viewers to subscribe "if they wish to see more of this content"? You're delusional.

Get a high quality wallet, belt or MORE in the Rose Anvil shop here - bit.ly/44jXLNu
the amount of time it takes to become a proficient welder is beyond me man. Bravo!
The music and Cinematic’s are bomb in both videos 🤘🏻👊🏻

The build is looking really good. Thank you Indie Ridge for sponsoring the build. Love it.
I hope that you will cut these boot in haft. I feel like it would be a sin to sponsor a Rose Anvil video without this.
Really enjoying this project - keep it happening please!

This guy is awesome he just made it look to easy
Your music selection is on point.

I like this boot....
Really nice looking concepts so far.

It's looking so good 😯
I would’ve liked a walk through with u talking as it’s happening.
Go watch The Eazy Co they got you 😉
Man... I used to have this EXACT bike. So cool to see it stripped like that. I bought it with the dresser crap already gone though
This is so dope
The motorcycle of Theseus.

Another dope video !

Great video. Music kinda makes me wanna step in front of a bus though.
What hardtail did you use on your bike?
Love more Ride more!
Music is a little better on this one.
Great video. What hardtail model is that? V-Twin mfg? Thanks.
Barely a Harley anymore. Looks good
What’s the best way to learn how to work on shovelheads? UA-cam? Or by the owner’s manual?
I take back the comment from the first vid… re not cutting it in half… 😉
😎😎😎😎
What’s size of that rear rim, tire, and fender width? Thanks 🙏🏼

Artist - track?
You coming to the dirtbag challenge in Oakland?
As someone who doesn't have any experience working with motorcycles how to I start?

damn
1980 Softail? Thought you were a dude of facts. The springer - DNA, Moto Iron… HD…?
Eighth comment!
No TIG machine ??
Second comment!
I am upset about the lack of grinder shield, if it splits you might take some serious damage.
Can that bike be bought? It is reminiscent of my first 80 incher... other than the front end I had an FX front end with 4 inch riser and drag bars

Kind of boring for me. Cut something in half please
Wish you would have spent a little of the time you used making this video look pretty into explaining what is going on…
I don't know why anyone wants a Harley. Harley's handle like a pig on roller skates, while also wearing a pair of Crocs.
Maybe you need to learn how to ride??

A swing arm is not a soft tail
Im confused, what is the advantage of hard tail on a motorcycle? I thought full suspension on a cruiser is what everyone wants

This is not why we're subscribed. Compare the views of this trash to anything leather-related. Make a separate channel.

You should demand a refund, and ask to speak to his manager.
How exactly did you deal with those plates around the seat post?
