That hardtail kit is so much nicer than the prefab kits that have no cast axle plates. You are livin' the life! Building choppers, fabricating, modifying in a well equipped shop.
Thanks Ben. You now your stuff. Fab Kevin's components are top shelf. Anybody who has a blow-up of an old photo of Dick Allen hanging on the wall of his shop is doin' some good. Dig that tune by Mountain too. My fave by Leslie West and band is "Never In My Life." That frame turned out choice. I dig that swishy tail Panhead you built for the Biltwell competition. Keep building them right. Ride safe.
Well you’re gonna be real sad to learn tons of them get chopped everyday. A lot of people want to retain their factory HD title with a modified frame. I’ll gladly restore them back to stock too!
@@benjeffweldingandfabricati251 I understand , not trying to troll ya ! I’ve personally am know looking for a stock 79 HD frame because at 66 my back can’t take the hardtail anymore! But I admit I love that power to the rear wheel ! 👍
As soon as I heard that cowbell in the very beginning I knew it was gonna be a good video. 👍 Same tunes playing in my shop every day.

Great video. Very informative. You've a great way in putting the info across. Can't wait for part 2. Your jig is ace.😎🤘

Perfect job!
More videos please
If you don't have access to a TIG welder, what else would you recommend for hardtailing?
You could really use any steel welding process but I would recommend at least mig welding
Как называются вот эти литые детали рамы?
Where are you located at in Illinois??? I'm looking for a shop to rake and stretch a softail frame
I’m in Indiana
do hardtail frame often crack?
If done properly shouldn’t crack
Obviously with some video editing this looks like a pretty quick job. How many man hours did the whole process take if you don't mind me asking.
Think i had a few days into it total
@@benjeffweldingandfabricati251 Thanks for the reply, Quite a job then.

Where is Ben located. Does he work on commission jobs or what.
