💬 New XO-300 Machine Gun:
I apologize for the delayed post, as I had some matters to attend to. However, this gave me ample time to edit and add more content before sharing it.
First and foremost, I absolutely love the uniqueness of this gun and how it sets itself apart from other machine guns. This is exactly how guns should differ from one another, creating their own distinct identities.
The XO 300 Machine Gun is undoubtedly a support weapon, and I find it incredibly enjoyable to use, especially when I have a solid team supporting me and keeping me alive. It's important to note that achieving greatness with this gun doesn't necessarily mean racking up 20 kills per game; you'll likely have more assists than kills. I want to give a shout-out to PZD for updating the gun to five and six stars for me, as it feels much more lethal now. Although any gun might feel weak at 4 stars, this one still shows its potential at that level. For a truly great performance, I would recommend upgrading to at least 5-6 stars.
As a fan of this gun, personally, I believe we need more time to fully explore its capabilities. I must admit that I'm not particularly fond of machine guns due to visibility issues for my device, but this gun offers more viewing options when it's mounted which I’m happy about. It provides an incredibly fun experience, but it's important to note that it may not appeal to everyone. If you enjoy supporting your team and have a knack for playing with machine guns, then this gun is definitely for you. It offers a unique blend of stationary gameplay and mobility that may suit your playstyle perfectly.

yeah, as far as I can tell, I feel like those "fun" new guns are kind of meant to be for F2P players specifically since they have a lot of potential in combat, AND, some of them even require a lot of aiming skills to master

like XO-300 for example, you must train your aim until you can confidently destroy Zloy in smoke with *good accuracy* and *no problem at all*; also, since over heating is a thing, the user would have to consciously try to manage their *overheating bar* and their *mounting position* which also takes a lot of skills, otherwise it would be a completely low-tier weapon in the meta unless it is buffed
I'd say for this new gun, maybe *making it unmount-able for mobility is a pretty decent idea* . Nevertheless, I'd love to imagine how cool it is if a teammate using Rookie can mount on it and destroy the other team, LOL. Same idea, what if an enemy takes over the mount? Will the enemy be able to use THAT mounted gun and shoot the owner of the mount and his teammates? Or, will it only kill the enemies' teammates?
About the *front shield* , I have no words for it since that's a really great idea. However, just a quick note, it definitely should have less defense than the real shield. I like the idea of *180 degrees rotation too* , why not make it 360 degrees on a CIRCULAR SPINNING MOUNT that takes SLIGHTLY more time to deploy? (Ex. 1 sec longer to mount the MG)
Thinking of the SPINNING MOUNT, would it be a better idea if that's a PERMANENT CHANGE or just a NEW MOD?

OR, say an old prototype: MGL 39
we all know it used to be broken, enemies couldn't see where the grenades will land, but now NOT ONLY they can SEE where the grenades will land, but ALSO DODGE those around 3 SECONDS before they actually land
and so it's really hard to compensate for the power for 3 reasons, which holds this weapon back from reaching its true potential:
1. *it cannot continue shooting even if there are leftover bullets* (say I have 6 ammo, I shot 2 and I have to reload the WHOLE THING AGAIN; while with the remaining 4 ammo, I'm SUPPOSED to be ABLE to shoot those 4 grenades if I WANT TO)
2. as mentioned before, *the travel speed is TOO SLOW at long range to make it an ACTUAL THREAT for the enemies, especially since 3 SECONDS, YES, 3 SECONDS, is LITERALLY ENOUGH for them to place down a missile defense AND have it activated BEFORE those grenades even land*
(now of course, for balancing issues, we can't just have 5 MGLs spamming around the map; BUT, that's not the only thing that holds it back. I'd say that making the bullets travel faster over longer ranges would be a perfect fix for this problem, at least at the moment of writing. Even if they complain about not being able to defend accordingly, well, you COULD'VE PREPARED missile defense BEFOREHAND, not in the LAST SECOND, because that's how defense WORKS, you have to prepare for some craps early and then worry about what's going to come next)
3. this one is really annoying, *you CANNOT adjust the AMOUNT OF GRENADES and FIRING RANGE independently*
I don't see why this isn't implemented. *Double aiming system* .
i. Control the number of ammo by tapping on 1 button for that amount of time(s) (u want 1 ammo u tap once, u want 6 ammo u tap 6 times, etc).
ii. Control range by adjusting aim button horizontally (this is self explanatory, similar to driving cars in the game)
IF this still wasn't enough, then add a settings in the shop itself to choose between DEFAULT aiming (which is how it is aimed right now) and EXPERIMENTAL aiming (which is exactly how I proposed above, *"Requires more skills, and rewards with better usage efficiency"* )

it's those really experimental weapons that makes the game way more *unique and fascinating* , but Panzerdog always try to make them a P2W aspect and so we fellow F2Ps cannot even enjoy the game as much anymore, and EVEN P2Ws struggle to keep up with those new craps. Hopefully this will change for the better future, otherwise more players will quit. Thanks for reading this whole thing, sincerely.
First off, I agree with your observation that some of the "fun" new guns in the game seem to be designed with f2p players in mind. It's great to see some of these weapons have the potential to be effective in combat. It's true that managing the overheating bar and your mounting position also adds a layer of skill to using this weapon effectively. Without proper skill and management, it could become a low-tier weapon unless buffed. As for making it unmountable for mobility, there are a lot of possibilities for that. And Rookie wreaking havoc on the enemy is gonna be a fun idea specially when operators get their boost.
Moving on to the front shield, you expressed that it should have slightly less defense than a real shield, I could agree as long as sms can’t kill me right away. 360-degree rotation could be good but I think it might be an overkill, I like having a flaws. It adds an additional strategic element to its usage.
I think almost every gun as of right now is usable this one might be a little questionable on who can actually use it but even the MGL nowadays is insanely fun. it's important to consider the balance and gameplay dynamics. Allowing the player to shoot the remaining grenades might give the weapon an unfair advantage, as it could lead to excessive spamming and potentially disrupt the game's balance.
As for the slow travel speed at long range, it's true that enemies have time to activate missile defenses before the grenades land. However, increasing the bullet speed for longer ranges might make the weapon too dominant and reduce the window for counterplay. Striking a balance between effectiveness and counterplay is crucial for a healthy gameplay experience.

I believe it's going to be a true game changer! I mean, we all love the kind of "documentary-like" videos about our game, so why not?
As a matter of fact, we used to have a guy who pretty much does the same thing you did (trying out new builds, analysis, tier lists, etc). He is *SMOOTH TACTICOOL* . However, he just deleted all of his videos for an unknown reason (at least to me)
I'm sure all of the Tacticool OGs remember him, hopefully he will return, one day. And yeah, he was like a brother to us, so I mean, since you are gonna do "his" job now, I feel like I MUST continue his legacy and actually be more informative from now on

yeah I think it's definitely unfair, especially if we can just instantly turn backwards
However, when I come to think of it, why not just make its turning speed similar to the real turret's turning speed or maybe slower? Would that be a good idea?
To be honest, I think keeping the gun mobile is actually better since readjustment (in terms of position and angle) would kinda save the day in certain scenarios. I just wanted to add like a slight modification to that, maybe some people aren't good at being mobile and so they prefer a more "stationary" style
That's basically what I meant, *a new type of MOD that alters the gun's primary mechanic* (might be applicable to other weapons in the future too if possible)
This system is pretty similar to the "new guns" in Tacticool right now, but they have their limits to modification, and they require upgrading the weapon from scratch. Whereas, using the system I mentioned above, stats will be altered (of course you have to buy the mod with materials, and it's not gonna be cheap but hey, at least it's F2P and requires no credit card 🤣) at NO COST of REUPGRADING the whole weapon again.
and if you ever wonder what that new MOD thing is, basically it's like guns with the same family in those FPS games but their stats differ from each other slightly in term of performance.
Say, similar assault rifles, but one is more powerful at close range (has more mobility, worse long-range performance) and the other is meant for long range encounters (but weaker at close range, of course)

maxed zloy with smoke canister activated will be best to counter charons. Can't wait to get the weapon. Equiping missile defence will complete the Loadout. It will be difficult to capture a point while a player like that is defending the points

You should try jb + kult-m +xo300 with smoke grenades and emp (emp is for charon mains who backstab you from behind while stationary)

I remembered I had to unlock each each mod from silver. So the mods aren’t interchangeable, you can’t use the old MG mods on this one. Lmaoo it’s just a temporary voice I wanted to know what ppl thought of it. But supposedly everyone hates it 😂

I use 5.5 star XO-300 with hawk, it eliminates group enemies in seconds🤣. Good at defending captured points.
Worst at facing squatted snipers, but overall really fun to play with.

This gun seems to have a lot of the pitfalls of crouch sniping with the AW rifle. Charon tends to be my biggest threat when I do that as well. As a sniper, though, you don’t have the ability to shoot into smoke. I feel like Apollon made this gun so much worse in turret form because of its inability to shoot up. It’s a shame. 😢
Ya this gun is extremely difficult when u have Apollo flying over you and dropping c4 on you lol! I really like the fun at first but it needs some improvements. I love the idea of the gun and it makes me want some other similar new gun abilities. I need to retry this gun and see how it plays but I was trying it with Apollo and it was funny placing it above ground

Overheating what it do sir
The gun doesn’t have reload but rather over heating. So when it over heats you can’t shoot anymore. So mods such as over heat helps it shoot for longer before it needs cool down

from what i see u need some very good protection when using xo-300, like md, diana, laymores for charon etc so imo its not that worth it u and ur team having to grant all of this just for a mild gun #xo300 #bck2bck

Idk I think the real voice might take a lot of time editing and cutting and pasting then leveling the volume. I used to take too much time making videos whenever I had to talk. These makes reading scripts a lot easier. But you might be right, I think they might be used to the old one. Which isn’t bad but this one amazes me still
