Ya ray is great tbh, and I like her invisibility being separate option unlike ray. I could have given ray more points but I think ray keeps improved and changing gin the future. But good to hear ray fans are growing

Honestly, I've just always been a fan of the more stealth abilities, so I have fun playing with Charon and I look forward to learning how to play Ray. I'd definitely take Charon, just because I like how his invisibility can last, and let's be honest, I love that one shimmering skin even though I don't have it for him, lol. Thanks for sharing this awesome vid! I started playing Ray since she first appeared in the game. She is really so awesome to play with. I really confuse the enemy by playing with her, especially with smart bomb and the laymores. Her 6th and 10th talent make her really strong and agile. Much more fun playing her than the shitty Chen-li, who is being used by 80% of the players nowadays :/
I know there are too many Chen Li, I kept thinking that EMP was gonna stop Chen Li but that thing still isn’t available for everyone. Ray is fun, I’m not gonna lie. I have her at lvl 34 and she feels like a max Charon, constantly going invisible. There are times where I feel like a bad azz, where I go in and out of invisibility, fooling people and timing everything precisely! Man the feeling is uncanny.
@@BCK2BCK Maybe I should try Ray with the smart bomb and with EMP instead of laymores, so I can kill Chen-li's easier... Will try soon! :)

yeah I think most people would have fun with max charon, but not everyone is able to max Charon. low lvl ray feels like a max charon. Also they could change Ray in the future to make her more fun.

I always viewed charon as a skill based operator, but with his T10 it's not too hard to dominate especially with m20
Ray requires more skill because you have to always be good at quick decision-making rather than planning it out while invisible

That’s a good point. Also could consider it as an ability. You’ll have to get great with timing it. The more I talk about it the more I realize that Ray is truly skill based over Charon.

Tldr; ray is a dope offensive pressure builder. Charon is a dope stealth op.
I love my ray character. I do have charon as my backup player. Ray is my main and i love how she can bob in and out of combat. Her special is a dope offensive or defensive gadget. I give her 5 frags and smg and she rips through teams. And she is so fast if built right. Get in trouble you can dash and run out of range easy peasy.
Now if the enemy team has red bag and my team can not get passed their front lines, i bring mr charon out. he can stealth all the way to bag boy, come out of stealth with a machete, ohk/steal bag, then addrenaline shot back to our side.
But if you had to pick one, which would you pick? i like ray and if she ever goes against charon, I think ray can win if you are fast enough, but that depends on how quick someone can pores her dash and go invisible. if the charon appears and I’m playing Ray I can press the button really quick and disappear which leaves Charon vulnerable but lately it’s very hard to get away from Charons when they using xl20. I should’ve given more points to Ray but this video was a little while older and ray wasn’t as good as she feels now a days

If u don't use the hologram u have extra special weapon slot for wateva u want and still have cloak ability but like u said its down to skill

I think Ray being a deceitful operator will be a very good duelist in 1v1 encounters, while Charon is pure stealth and therefore excels in hit and run attacks.

Hella headaches but it’s only really good in the right hands. Not a lot of ppl know how to play her. But it was a heard video and I’m glad you saw it the same way as me
I would say max charon is better, plus he can get very quick second cooldown of cloaking after killing enemy
The developers are really trying harder to make ray more useful, but just like u I would want to use Charon as well. BUTTTT ray is pretty fun in its own way.

Hi.. I currently playing lv 17 charon with new smg+taser.. It is quite fun, but I feel that charon can be countered easily..

@@BCK2BCK yeah, you should try it.. As the new smg seems to be designed for charon.. Is has slightly higher damage to old smg, and its melee dmg is around 6k at he hand of charon (4k for other operator)
Charion is no threat to my Ray unless his whole team are beasts. I always counter Ray because his attack is Delayed after he uncloaks.
So whenever I’m against a Charion that is Lurking, I just be careful as to how much I’m cloaking to keep one saved and whenever he uncloaks near me I cloak and then take him out.
Right now, Rays counter is Being at a team disadvantage and well….I’ll be quiet about the other thing 😂

Oh, hands-down, I think Ray can definitely beat Charon, if you’re good at clocking then you’ll find your self at an advantage right when you see him appear. Specially, since max Charon can disappear again until he makes a kill.

No only max Ray can automatically go invisible when she is on the brink of death. It’s a talent ability.

Coming from someone who has perfected rey,she has potential to be the the most overpowered operator in the game but she requires more skill than the amount of USD$ it takes to buy her.
Using rey aint easy,but she is best with M20 AND M16...and again,when you switch guns using rey,YOU NEED TO SWITCH UP YOUR ENTIRE fighting style and potentially which gear you equip as well..
Rey aint no joke it takes a lot of skill to not suck and look/play like a noob,it takes more than timing as well because your only invisible for 2 seconds with sub-par health points..
Unlike charon who can remain stealth for unlimited amount of time.
Rey does not need to be max to dominate battlefield,or even kill 3 maxed ops in a 3v1 fight.i can survive in your spawn area ALL GAME while racking up the kills,leaving my 4 teammates with the 1 or 2 leftover enemys that got away.
Unlike charon which is often forced to go invisi and retreat if outnumbered on battlefield(btw does anybody know how many USD to max from lvl 1?)
Charon is better for those with less skill (no offense)
Mor of the story is... if you are actually a skilled player i recommend going for rey over charon,you can kill charon about 7 or 8 times outta 10
