- This is just part one because the entire scene was too long, but I'll upload the second part immediately after this one, so it should be available when you watch this one.
- I don't own Good Omens -
Crowley is so cute when he's all young and innocent and happy.
I'm convinced this is a big part of why Aziraphale wanted Crowley to join him and become an Angel again. He naively thought it would fix everything and make them happy the way they were when they first met.
crowley's face meeting aziraphale for the first time...he obviously fell for him INSTANTLY. aziraphale just 'yes? was that you?' and crowley's face is all Oh lord--oh wait he said something uh--YEA! XD
HE ABSOLUTELY WARMS MY ❤️ 😢🥺❤️🔥☺️🥰
So, we all thought Crowley fell in love pretty much at first sight on the wall while Az took a few thousand years to catch up, but it turns out Az was actually the one with an instant crush !
"look at you, you're gorgeous" Aziraphale staring at Crowley 😔
To be honest I think that Crowley said it about the stars.
@@Chameleon-wq4ul He did, but Aziraphale thought Crowley was saying it to him for a second
So Crowley said “Let there be light” aaaand later he becomes the snake in the garden
Soooo... he's Lucifer?
@@RayeChrystiline Phosphorus Φωσφόρος, "light-bringer" Correct.
God created the heavens and the earth (maybe) and man. Certain angels believed man could achieve greatness and gave them souls. For that God condemned them and they became demons and cast them into the pit.
@CaptApril123 “gave them souls”? The soul is not necessarily an object, we’re built with feelings and we could call that having a soul. If we didn’t have souls before then I think you mean we weren’t always built to feel
I doubt Crowley was the first one who EVER said it. That was probably still God. In the GO universe it seems like angels say "let there be light" to initiate things (like the beginning of Crowley's nebula) or to literally just produce light(Aziraphale illuminating Anathema after they hit her with the Bentley in season 1).
I’ve only known Angel Crowley for a day but if anything happe- oh wait …
This. This takes the cake. lol
It's interesting to me that Crowley had a crank but needed someone to hold the scroll. Might have been an ineffable plan all along.
That's something that caught my attention too. Also, how it took 'all sorts' to stop Armageddon.
This scene got me giggling kicking feet smiling squealing like look how precious Crowley wassss
1:38
BRO AZIRAPHEL THOUGH CROWLEY WAS TALKING ABOUT HIM
I'M NOT CRYING, YOU ARE
AWWWWWWW🥺🥺
If I had to guess his rank I would say either Dominion. Just based on one of Season 2's episodes which gives us a juicy bit of info it seems the most logical. I highly doubt he is a Throne, Cherubim, or Seraphim. Personally I say he is more fit to be a Virtue but given that mic drop moment mentioned before, we know it's not likely unless the typical order is out of whack.
I say Virtue because they are said to be responsible for the movement of the heavens, the changing of the seasons, and able to perform great miracles which border on god-like. Just think of an angel of "physics" and natural order. Dominion is still suitable though because they are said to be the ones who help keep things in order. They assist the lower rank by making sure they stay organized and do their work accordingly. They are also responsible for delivering justice and to show mercy to humans. Crowley as a demon does tend to show traits of being a Dominion given that last bit about showing mercy and justice but Angel Crowley just strikes me as a angel who likes being apart of the creation process aka the big miracle science experiment. He also pulls off the insane maneuver of enduring the oven that was his car in Season 1 while the other guy croaks. That seems like a pretty big miracle to pull off.
@@gameover9390 Can't say I agree with the Raphael theory respectfully. My points being that it seems...weird??? I mean. Aziraphale is a angelic character all made up for the sake of the book/show if I am not mistaken. Crowley comes across being in the same boat. It just feels like the dynamic would be out of balance if Crowley actually was a well known angel. Plus, key word being an angel. Raphael never fell according to religion and is thus still viewed as a full blown angel by today's standard.
I may not be religious but I did have an obsessive phase where I dug into Angelology and Demonology. Crowley just doesn't seem to have the traits we commonly associate with Raphael. Then again neither did Gabriel or Michael so that doesn't hold much water.
I still lean on my statement though about the balance between Aziraphale and Crowley being out of balance if he was indeed Raphael.
I like the idea of Crowley just being who he has always been. Just Crowley. This hard working angel who had so many questions and then fell but likely for the "right reasons" as compared to the other fallen.
Maybe that is why his form is not super drastic as compared to the other demons. He is between worlds which means he was meant for earth rather than heaven or hell.
I get the sense that this God in the series must have known where this would all lead. I mean, religiously speaking God is supposed to know all and see all. So in this series, she must have known Crowley would eventually "sauntered vaguely downwards" given his clear nature to ask questions and think for himself. Meanwhile, I wonder if Aziraphale's defining moment was the giving of his flaming sword. I say that because God straight up asks him where he sword was and the moment it was confirmed he didn't have it, instead of being scolded or casted out God just quietly disappears. Sounds like God wanted to know if Aziraphale gave the sword away or not which would then tell where the future is likely headed.
I say that because Crowley never seemed impressed with Aziraphale until the moment he learned the angel jist gave his sword away. The dude looks ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED then even more impressed by the fact Aziraphale lied to help Job.
Though God NEVER calls Aziraphale out.
Almost like she wants Aziraphale to become his own person and be able to think rather than just follow rules.
One reason I like DnD fantasy is because as far as Lawful Good and Chaotic Evil, both can be very bad in their own way. Dragonlance does a great way explaining that evil can be just that....evil BUT lawful good can be just as worse if used in the wrong way. Lawful good can become blind to the gray areas and only see black and white.
I think she WANTS them as a duo because Crowley is softened by Aziraphale while Aziraphale is challenged by Crowley to think for himself.
Guessing what the 3 Season is about....I can believe God knew things would head this way and was setting up the pieces to have a positive outcome rather than a disastrous one.
If you watch Blood of Zeus there is this great scene with The Fates as they explain future and destiny. I think it works like that. You can see big end outcomes but there are many paths to take which can change things towards that destination and sometimes the journey itself might change the endgame itself depending on factors. Hopefully that makes sense.
This scene makes me want to cry when imagining Angel "Crowley" falling from the heaven, he looked so happy...
Angel Crowley is like an angel with a Doctor-y passion for life and the universe 😃
1:36 oh Aziraphale...
Ya ever wonder if that's the same crank that was on his car from season 1?
Plot twist. God sent each angel to create just one universe each. Infinite angels.
0:44 he’s glowing 🥹
1:09 Let There Be Light
"let there be light?" does this mean hes the real Luci? 🤔
I would hate for Azi to be one who snitch on Crowley that made him fall. Or maybe Crowley went to Metaron and he damned him?
Its stated before multiple times that it's because he asked too many questions... And that's why he was damned.
Explains why he isn't necessarily evil like the other demons but he's just completely against God.
At the pub in season 1, Crowley mentioned that he Fell after hanging out with "Lucifer and the guys". I suppose that’s the one who became Satan, otherwise Crowley probably would have been king of Hell. Still, he seems to have been pretty important as an angel, considering that he literally lit up the stars and that he had access to restricted files. A very popular fan theory is that he might have been the archangel Raphael, though that’s never actually been suggested in canon.
I’m sure Az didn’t snitch, given how he was worried about Crowley and tried to dissuade him from doing anything that could get him into trouble, but it looks like what he said about the premature end of the universe is what prompted Crowley to go ask some of the questions that supposedly got him kicked out.
I think that asking question didn’t cause his fall but got kick off the project and maybe demoted, remember Job this season and how God went on and on about how dare you ask me questions. I think what happened was after this he went and ask God questions and she was like”My Creatioon my rules” or “If you don’t like then start working on it” or “Your job is to build not analyse it” and fired him from his job, Crowley with nothing to do and obviously mad at God, was a prime target for Lucifer. Who as Crowley said “ask if he was doing anything later” and so he went hang out with Lucifer and the gangs one afternoon and next he was cast into to Hell
I've never seen anything cuter.
Does anyone know what soundtrack is this scene?
Crowley here reminds me of Slartibartfast in Hitchhikes Guide to the Galaxy
anyone else see the word "Love" in the clouds at 1:36?
Oh wow!!!! You’re right
Angel Crowley just melted my heart
The cuteness and sweetness is uncontainable, unfathomable, and immeasurable.
why do i have a thought where - the reason why aziraphale always mentioned the time where crowley was an angel was because that was the person he first fell inlove with .... ??
Doesn't he mean let there be Mavity 😂😂
I remember that 😊 22nd century makin me feel lively again
I thought they first met in Eden?
this is before eden
@@th4nky0uf0rth3ven0m Yes, and it seems to retcon their first meeting
@@blamecanada8525well this whole season is technically a recon, because the first season was based on the Book where’s this season is unique creation. But yeah it does mean the Eden scene a bit off now, since A was made at Eden and created with a flaming sword not to mention the slight personality change in the characters.
@@blamecanada8525 i think crowley's memory was wiped when he fell
@@th4nky0uf0rth3ven0mthat can't be, he remembers being an angel and that he fell because he asked questions
Just pump this scene into my veins, it's absolutely stunning.... 🥹🥹🥹
