Given that the angels weren't even certain where Gabriel was, I found it suspicious right from the start that Beelzebub not only knew he had left heaven, but also exactly where to start looking. Does anyone else feel like the Gabriel-Beezlebub romance indicates a little more than just cuteness? I've got a random idea that angels and demons might just complete each other. We know about two for sure now, what with GB and Crowley-Aziraphale, but wasn't Michael talking to Ligur in Season 1? Which would make 3 demon-angel relationships of some kind. It would also explain why Aziraphale and Crowley working the miracle together was so powerful. Just a thought.
This is part of my fanfic on Ao3. Every angel is half of a whole they were paired up when they were created, a lot of them were separated in the fall. God's Ineffable plan is to reunite the pairs and blur the edges. Shades of grey. Instead of Heaven and Hell have an afterlife where you can improve yourself to be the best that you can be. ❤❤❤
I saw that someone also uses the shipname BoxFly for the ship, so I shall now adopt that because sometimes Ineffable Bureaucracy is a mouthful and I can't spell well.
@@taschak3889 still prefer Ineffable Bureaucracy, because it's been that for years. it kind of feels like a load of people have joined the crew of our ship and are trying to say the ship needs to be renamed.
This makes me so happy. I shipped them from the beginning (and wrote a LOT of fanfic) and they gave me lots of happy tears before all of the not-so-happy tears of the end of that epicoad.
I love them! They were so sweet! I wish more of them! So much more! And when I watched I remember thinking that Belzebu was acting weird, kind in an identity crisis way, and then that end for them! Was so perfect! We need a season 3 with more of this new amazing couple!
tell you what my series 2 bingo DIDN'T have (and it had handholding, dancing, the kiss, Gabriel learning about love (clue being the wing mug with the heart poster) what my series 2 bingo did NOT have was Aziraphale cuddling a tumour in a jar.
Their love was incredibly cute and wholesome. I felt butterflies (or maybe just flies), I loved seeing that! This show does such a good job with their characters
They sort of gave themselves away in the first season, you know? But, I'm happy to see it. It seems that between Angels and Demons, it's humans who have the most power. Ironic, as they don't have the *power* of the angels or demons. Yet, it is far more catching. Being around humans just, changes them.
I knew someone would make this fan edit, and I looked forward to it immensely. You’re the MVP. I was thinking of doing a vid with another song but didn’t know how since they have such little footage together. But you managed to make a 2 and a half minute video with what little footage we were given. That’s impressive. I’m gonna need to start looking for super short songs lol ETA: omg I did it. And I only had to cheat by using two ships for the vid.
I thought I was going crazy for thinking that season 2 Beelzebub was fine af. Then I saw the outcome and glad that I wasn't the only one. She's also fine af in real life.
This season, despite it not being as good as the first in my opinion, was still great. It set up an excellent potential struggle for S3. At the end of S1 Aziraphale and Crowley was initially feared by their respective Celestial/Infernal peers. This was great as it let them pretty much do as they please on Earth. With the events in S2 of Gabriel and Beelzebub falling in love, overcoming that innate distrust and hatred towards the opposite side, it allowed Crowley to come to an amazing realization: he loves someone more than himself and he was willing to set everything else in his world aside to spend eternity with Aziraphale. This in itself is a problem that could lead to the obliteration of Heaven and Hell. One angel and One demon falling in love is a fluke. It happens again and it sends a clear and dangerous message to everyone else in the penthouse and basement. It means 'there is no difference between us and there is no need to continue this war.' Demons and Angels can set aside their differences and live as one again. While this seems lovely it can actually spell out the complete and utter destruction of Earth and wipe out everything and everyone on it. Reconciliation can only happen with the arrival of the Second Coming. Which means Armageddon - the ONE thing Aziraphale and Crowley have been trying to avoid for centuries. The Celestial and the Infernal MUST remain at odds in order to keep Earth from being obliterated which means [[Aziraphale and Crowley can NEVER be together!]] Tragic, eh? In order to save humanity they must force themselves to sit firmly on opposite sides. Aziraphale as Archangel and Crowley, most likely, as Archdemon. They will still be fond of one another but can never be together. All part of God's ineffable plan. The bastard.
@@lucasnicht3347 In Revelations, Armageddon is brought by not only the opening of the seals, but a reconciliation of sorts between heaven and hell. The Demons get to come home. Can't do that if the war doesn't end.
I cannot TELL you how much I adore this video, and cannot compliment you on your skills enough!!! First of all, starting it off with the scene you did is perfect. Secondly, your editing skills. YOUR EDITING SKILLS! Keep this between you and me -- because a UA-cam comments section is definitely just between the two of us -- but most fanvids I see are poorly edited. You've got timing down to a tee, not just with the music, but thematically. The light instantly illuminating Gabriel's statue is so perfectly timed with a little "ding" followed by "hey". And the show incorporates small musical cues in PRECISELY that way! (Just two examples: The musical cue when Gabriel nods just once, ever so subtly, when Crowley asks if he wants hot cocoa. And the quick xylophonic trill when Crowley definitely doesn't crash his lips against Aziraphale's.) Obviously 1:19 - 1:26 is art. As is the way you blended the song with their singing at the end! Also, just in terms of the technical, you've done an incredibly good job with the sound levels when it comes to the music vs. the dialogue. And you've inserted just the RIGHT amount of dialogue; there are so many vids I've watched where the dialogue is drowned out by the music, and there's too much of it. Frequently, both the dialogue and the music, including the lyrics, get lost within each other, especially when they're both vying for attention. ANYWAY anyway anyway you didn't do that stuff and you are talented and this is so good. Thank you for making it!!! And again, everything I said about other fanvids, that's just between you and me, shhhhhh.
Well....its a start..... I still can't believe that Ineffable Bureaucracy is real and canon..... But Gabriel still has a lot to atone for And hopefully they'll stand the test of time
Though I’m not sure if Gabriel and Beelzebub will appear again in season 3 getting him to atone for his actions in season 1 is a good reason to bring him back. I love Ineffable Bureaucracy but, I do admit it happened fast and I wish Gabriel had his character development.
@@moondivine2288What if they appear in season 3 to help Aziraphale and Crowley relationship? Imagine: two of their bosses that was willing to kill both of them ended up helping them. We would have more of this ship, character development and obviously main duo being together again.
OMG! I watched this video like a hundred times! I’m obsessed with them and that is the best compilation ever!! And with their song! So perfect!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I imagine that angels and demons are like that of a soul mate, one part that searches for the other and together they are strong and would “cause problems”. We see this with Azi and Crowley, clearly Metatron wanted to separate them on purpose.
Even Gabriel tried to smash the fly with one of that books he carried from A to B all day. And I thouhgt: NOT! There is something about that frigging fly!
Now looking back... The demons finding gabe wouldn't have been bad at all... They were under beebs commend... She was desperately trying to find him and would have taken care of it... OMG THIS WAS CRAZY.. I LOVE IT...
You know what is the most ironic part about this? Their relationship is way similar to Crowley and Aziraphele in the book than their counterparts from the series.
Just wanted to add in my love for the song and the last scene @ 2:10 I mean they sang so perfectly in sync with the shows audio, lovely disappearing too, top notch part of the show for me
The writers really knew what they were doing with the head bobbing scene. The realization that there might be more to life than heaven and hell sparked in their minds, not love yet, just a person they like. Then the extremely subtle touching, just a finger, because they’re curious and desperately want to know why they feel the way they feel.
The amazing song coming out of the jujkebox at the beginning of the scene is "Letter From America" by The Proclaimers. ua-cam.com/video/yy9GmieAEaQ/v-deo.html
which I'm SURE I read that Douglas McKinnon directed the video for. love the Proclaimers. any fans of both Good Omens and the Proclaimers should definitely look up David Tennant singing Sunshine on Leith. it's lovely.
I really hope that in the 3rd season (fingers crossed that it happens) they will address that this is actually the third time we see an angel and a demon bonding over common things. Azi and Crowley bonded over their love of Earth and humanity, and now we've seen Gabriel and Beelzebub bonding over how much they hated their jobs. But there is also the case of Michael and Dagon who are both control-freak bureaucrats, who *at least* keep up a secret open line of communication. And if Metatron freaked out about "one is an exception, two is a pattern", I'm curious how he would react to three, especially that out of them two are archangels 😁
The first scene of Beelzebub and Crowley shows how they was little to desperate to find Gabriel, that's as nice touch for a second watch

It’s definitely giving Dark Crystal vibes in that regard - I love it
@@clarestubbs9303 Can I ask what the name of the fic is and what your author name is? I would love to read your work. ❤
@@alexandralugo1743 I have just orphaned it so it isn't attached to my name, but it is called Shades of Grey and the Ineffable Plan on AO3.
@@alexandralugo1743 I have another fic that I am currently working on called "The Bet" my AO3 name is Hopeless_old_romantic_67
This new version of Beelzebub is great. She's so cute.
The horrible fly-hat is gone. That's the most important part Q_Q
@@mikyto7313 I like both the fly hats. the series 2 hell form teeth are way creepier though, when you actually get a proper look at them.
they are so precious. they are the emotional vine i cling to after the ending
I saw that someone also uses the shipname BoxFly for the ship, so I shall now adopt that because sometimes Ineffable Bureaucracy is a mouthful and I can't spell well.
Omg BoxFly! YES!
Hey buddy slide the fics-

"That's a silly angel but that's MY silly angel" Beelzebub probably and also Crowley
The most heart-warming love story of season 2.
I love them! They were so sweet! I wish more of them! So much more! And when I watched I remember thinking that Belzebu was acting weird, kind in an identity crisis way, and then that end for them! Was so perfect! We need a season 3 with more of this new amazing couple!
I put this on my bingo as a joke. Yes I enjoyed the pencil stroke of shame when it happened
Hehe
tell you what my series 2 bingo DIDN'T have (and it had handholding, dancing, the kiss, Gabriel learning about love (clue being the wing mug with the heart poster)
what my series 2 bingo did NOT have was Aziraphale cuddling a tumour in a jar.
I didn't know I needed this ship till I got it 🥲
It been 4 months. I am still in love with Good Omens and my favorite pairing became canon, I am in LOVE WITH Beelzebub and Gabriel love story. 🤗🤗😸😸
These two bonded over job burnout.
I can’t, this is so adorable. I’m drowning in rainbows.
Their love was incredibly cute and wholesome. I felt butterflies (or maybe just flies), I loved seeing that! This show does such a good job with their characters
this was genuinely so random and I was not expecting it at all. No complaints though.
HOW I FUCKING ADORE THIS SONG. How I wish to find the person that make me feel like Gabe seeing Beeb.
this is what the universe needs.. dark to give form to the light, light to sculpt the dark. Crowley and Aziraphale, Gabriel and Beelzibub..
Why do we need evil?
They sort of gave themselves away in the first season, you know? But, I'm happy to see it. It seems that between Angels and Demons, it's humans who have the most power. Ironic, as they don't have the *power* of the angels or demons. Yet, it is far more catching. Being around humans just, changes them.
To co-opt something else Pterry wrote: "When you pour water from one jug to another it doesn't just fill up the jug."
This love story gave me the big warm and fuzziness. Seriously so sweet with such a good message
1:01: One of the cutest, sweetest moments ever captured in television.
That's a ship I didn't know I needed until I had it
I already loved the ship, but never dared HOPE It would be Canon.
This is so far beyond adorable! beautifully done.
Beautiful done loving the music. Seeing together ✨️🥰💕
I knew someone would make this fan edit, and I looked forward to it immensely. You’re the MVP. I was thinking of doing a vid with another song but didn’t know how since they have such little footage together. But you managed to make a 2 and a half minute video with what little footage we were given. That’s impressive. I’m gonna need to start looking for super short songs lol
ETA: omg I did it. And I only had to cheat by using two ships for the vid.
Two exceptionally talented actors
such a little amount of scenes yet they make me so happy for some reason
The Celestial and the Infernal MUST remain at odds in order to keep Earth from being obliterated which means [[Aziraphale and Crowley can NEVER be together!]]
Tragic, eh? In order to save humanity they must force themselves to sit firmly on opposite sides. Aziraphale as Archangel and Crowley, most likely, as Archdemon. They will still be fond of one another but can never be together. All part of God's ineffable plan.
The bastard.
why do heaven and hell have to stay opposed to save the earth?
@@lucasnicht3347 In Revelations, Armageddon is brought by not only the opening of the seals, but a reconciliation of sorts between heaven and hell. The Demons get to come home. Can't do that if the war doesn't end.
Oh no! We need our happy ending! 😢😢
This video is so so perfect é.è I'd like everyone to stop a moment to appreciate the way Beelzebub is calling Gabriel a "silly silly Angel" é.è
TEARS!! I CANT DO THIS, I WILL NEVER RECOVER EMOTIONALLY

Well....its a start.....
I still can't believe that Ineffable Bureaucracy is real and canon.....
But Gabriel still has a lot to atone for
And hopefully they'll stand the test of time
I feel it'd be easier to forgive your partner of their wrongdoings when you literally have eternity to spend together. Now *that's* true love ❤
@@msthecommentator2863 I mean apologizing to Aziraphale
Though I’m not sure if Gabriel and Beelzebub will appear again in season 3 getting him to atone for his actions in season 1 is a good reason to bring him back.
I love Ineffable Bureaucracy but, I do admit it happened fast and I wish Gabriel had his character development.
@@moondivine2288 YES THANK YOU THATS WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL PEOPLE
@@moondivine2288What if they appear in season 3 to help Aziraphale and Crowley relationship? Imagine: two of their bosses that was willing to kill both of them ended up helping them. We would have more of this ship, character development and obviously main duo being together again.
I ship them from their first interaction and this shows that I am always right when it comes to a partner.😊❤
airbase Bee and Gabe are SO workaholic married couple called into the school over their child misbehaving
OMG! I watched this video like a hundred times! I’m obsessed with them and that is the best compilation ever!! And with their song! So perfect!❤️❤️❤️❤️
An angel and demon together CATS AND DOGS LIVING AMONGST ONE ANOTHER MASS HYSTERIA. ghost busters reference aside i think its cute.
The most adorable couple ever and everywhere ❤
Silly silly angel 🥺🪰❤
I imagine that angels and demons are like that of a soul mate, one part that searches for the other and together they are strong and would “cause problems”. We see this with Azi and Crowley, clearly Metatron wanted to separate them on purpose.
Even Gabriel tried to smash the fly with one of that books he carried from A to B all day. And I thouhgt: NOT! There is something about that frigging fly!
and THEN he said the good thing is, it never works! he never actually WANTED to squash the fly. somewhere in his head, he knew the fly was important
I was kicking my feet and giggling the entire time. The OTP I never expected to be canon!
Beelzebub and Crowly sitting in hell drinking alcohol and thinking about their precious angels 😂
That Beelzebub sigh at 1:56 😊. He took her breath away
Their* let us remember that Beelzebub goes by the pronouns "they/them"
Love them so much ❤
Just wanted to add in my love for the song and the last scene @ 2:10 I mean they sang so perfectly in sync with the shows audio, lovely disappearing too, top notch part of the show for me
I loved this development. So sweet.
Dad and mom 🥺
This was actually adorable
I too would risk it all for them
I went from hating gabrial to being in aww at how cute and adorable him and bee are together as a couple
I love this vid sm. I didnt ship them before canon, but they are admittedly cute together :,)
I wasnt expecting that but i love it!
Every stiff no-nonsense bureaucratic angels need their own personal designated chaotic hellspawn gremlin and vice versa.
Kinda ironic the leader of both side are the shade of gray in this world when heaven and hell only think rules are black and white
1:51 what a feeling that must be.
when gabriel finishes the end of the song right before he disappears with Beelzebub ♥
I love that they recasted bee but made it make sense because of how demons can change form
I reckon Lucifer discorporated them for failing to bring Armageddon, AND failing to execute Crowley

still freaking out about this a year later
They're so cute, I love this video, it's the perfect encapsulation of their romance
I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM .
I hate how I find this as charming as I do.
The writers really knew what they were doing with the head bobbing scene. The realization that there might be more to life than heaven and hell sparked in their minds, not love yet, just a person they like. Then the extremely subtle touching, just a finger, because they’re curious and desperately want to know why they feel the way they feel.
This is so wholesome ❤
I did not see that coming but flippin loved it 😂😂❤❤😇😈✌️🎶
THIS IS THE CUTEST VIDEO EVER!!!!
*sobbing uncontrollably *
this was so sweet i cant get enough.
Adorable! ❤
I'm so happy this ship became canon
this was so sweet, love them so much
I really hope that in the 3rd season (fingers crossed that it happens) they will address that this is actually the third time we see an angel and a demon bonding over common things.
He and she are so heavenllish lovely
The Lord of the Flies, eh?
"True Love Ways" by Buddy Holly is just an awesome song.
I love this 😻 and I consider it very adorable
This was such a good developement
I swear the fans inspired neil for this❤
