Wow! I admire your skills Bill. My younger brother is like you. He has built 4 homes. One for himself, one for each of his two daughters and one for his first cousin (he contracted some work out on that house). He has also remodeled our mom's house recently. He is going to be 63 soon. Have fun in the Hot Tub! I didn't know they are inflatable ones. Interested to see it and how you like it.
My husband & I’ve had THREE of them. 1 the tub developed a leak - after the 6 month warranty, 2 the electronic component went, 1 a month after warranty & 1 covered by warranty. On that one I followed instructions to get the replacement power unit. That was 18 month ago & it still has not been sent. I’ve not gotten any feedback from them, either by calling or emails. We loved the hot tubs, but gave up when we did not get the customer support. When I’ve left negative comments about service & not getting the replacement, they disappear. Hope you have better luck. Like anything, great when they work, put support needs to be better from the manufacturer when there is an issue. I wish you good luck with yours. I got the steps to make it easier to get in & out of & also the removable seats. I’m short, so the seat was great for me, hubby ended up not needing it.
That will be awesome! Nothing like a hot tub to relax in the afternoon. Bill it's wonderful to have a talented husband like you. Elizabeth is well taken care of! Your love for each other is so sweet. I love you both!
When I saw this I thought you were talking about the porch in Virginia and wondered why you were still there. I love the sounds of the kids in the background. Vibrant neighborhood! Enjoy the tub
That is 1100lbs of water!!! Good thing you added bracing!!! It will be awesome to experience a little hot tub like that! Its soo nice to hear the children outside!!! We have a Relxtime tub too. We love it! We got it in June. We had a leak in it in the fall and they helped us figure it out. They ended up replacing the tub since it wasn't our fault even though there really isnt a warranty. They were great to work with.
We love it, too! WE soak every night. But what has it done to your electric bill? We expected an increase in the bill, but the first month was up over $200. That was a shocker! If it continues like that, I don't know if we can continue using it. ☹️
It really hasn't done much to our bill at all. I thought it would raise it a lot, but not so. We did get an energy efficient furnace last year, so it may have helped. We are used to paying around 200 plus in summer and 300 plus in winter. For both gas and electric. Electricity sure has gone up over the past few years.
My heart was really going out to you, Bill, as you were working under the house. The whole time that you were under there, I kept thinking he needs help, he needs Barry, but of course you did it!!!. Elizabeth and you enjoy your hot tube! God bless! 😊❤✝️

Yes, for now. But eventually we'd like to have one at each place, so we don't have to move it all the time. But since it's inflatable, we can take it pretty easily.
I need to crawl under my home to do a couple of "simple" things, that would only take a few minutes, but I haven't been able to get up the nerve to crawl under! I am a bit claustrophobic. I can't even watch caving videos!
Hello Bill, next time you crawl under such a tight space plz consider playing a soft background tune. It was pure torture watching you work under these conditions. It reminds me of all the things we take for granted when we are younger. You are brave and methodical. I bet you n your wife will be enjoying this hot tub 🛁 for years to come.
Under those conditions? Crawling under the porch was light and airy, compared to some houses that I've crawled under, because of all the vent holes in the skirting that let light in. And it wasn't a tight fit.
I hope you continue to film the ice cream children too. I ALWAYS Enjoy watching YOUR FAMILY FUN FILLED VLOGS. FUN WHY? HOLY SPIRIT FILLED FAITH. HALLELUJAH GLORY BE TO GOD. MY DAD WAS LIKE YOU. Every person was amazed in his quality's. I watched him as a child/teen. When he wood carved. First he pencil drew it, modeled in clay, then he woodcarved-. Threw the pencil art picture in the garbage. Balled the clay up in to the plastic bag to re-use it. That always pained me. The wood carving was so beautiful. He made HIS HANDS. Of the PRAYING HANDS. I keep it close to me to touch his hands. He died 2007 only 85. He made many CHRISTIAN THINGS. He wasn't saved. I prayed when I got saved in 1/1/1980 for my parents to accept JESUS CHRIST as their Savior. He did just 3 months before he died. At the end of his life, he had dementia. But he except CHRIST. My mom and I, my pastor and Chaplain Rudy together prayed and my DAD said HALLELUJAH AMEN. He knew the Bible as a history book. Until HE accepted JESUS CHRIST. Then, he understood the Bible for TRUTH. A German Man, read the word to him almost everyday to my Dad . My mom also got SAVED. I was their when she was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT HALLELUJAH . There is supposed to be a bad storm coming thru north Florida and then in central Florida on Tuesday or maybe it already came please be carefull and let us know how you are
I have a inflatable Hot Tub from QVC it's 3yrs old and love it. Here in Pennsylvaniawe we another storm hitting us this upcoming weekend January 13th through the 14th. Do you worry about about large snakes where you live ?
Ah Elizabeth. Your smile just lights up the screen. Thank you for that brightness this morning! Looking forward vicariously to the completion of the hot tub installation. We want one so bad, but they're a bit speedy for us right now.
❤ you're going to enjoy your hot tub a lot I've never had one but my son has one and he has back trouble and gets in at 3 or 4 times a day❤ he says it really helps us back
Ok I just have to ask…Why are you installing in the front? Wouldn’t you like more privacy? OR are you going to put up some sort of privacy screen? Thanks. What a great idea 💡
Where, on our property could we get more privacy? We have a corner lot, so our entire property is visible from the road! There is no privacy fence. And there's no door in the back of the house. So if we put it in back, we would have to go out the front door and walk all the way around back to the tub, which is still visible from the road.
@@danielmccrary9069 that kitchen door is on the side, under the carport, which faces forward. There is no access out the back of the house. And there’s no fence out back anyway. It’s just an open lawn right next to the road.
Just wanted to let you know (hopefully you already do) a particularly dangerous weather system is heading your way within hours. A line of tornado warned thunderstorms are bearing down on the panhandle.
Your area is under a Tornado Watch!! Where do you take shelter in the event a tornado approaches since you don't have a basement? Are there shelters people evacuate to? Stay safe 💘
If I crawled under there, you’d have to call the fire department to dragged me out. I love your home in Florida.

Bill and Elizabeth, how nice to have a Hot Tub. Will you bring it back to Virginia and use it there also? Thanks
Yes, for now. But eventually we'd like to have one at each place, so we don't have to move it all the time. But since it's inflatable, we can take it pretty easily.
Snowing here and black ice. 😮
Where?
Idaho
@LiveSimpleLiveFree, you know best!👌 It must be my claustrophobic tendencies.
That is so cool are you going to get another hot tub for Virginia like you planned
I hope you continue to film the ice cream children too.
I ALWAYS Enjoy watching YOUR FAMILY FUN FILLED VLOGS. FUN WHY? HOLY SPIRIT FILLED FAITH. HALLELUJAH GLORY BE TO GOD. MY DAD WAS LIKE YOU. ABLE TO DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.
My parents were from Germany. They were strong and perfectionism. He was amazing with ideas. Like you. His woodworking was
Like Glass.
My mom and I, my pastor and Chaplain Rudy together prayed and my DAD said
HALLELUJAH AMEN. He knew the Bible as a history book. Until HE accepted JESUS CHRIST. Then, he understood the Bible for TRUTH. A German Man, read the word to him almost everyday to my Dad . My mom also got SAVED. I was their when she was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT HALLELUJAH
. Her life was so full. She started singing PRAISING
GOD in German/English in het last month of life. All she was taught in 96 years
Came back to her. Scriptures, she knew.
Please never give up praying for your love ones.
FAITH, BELIEVE FOCUS ON OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AMEN HALLELUJAH AMEN
AMEN. I LOVE YOU. FROM
SE MICHIGAN. WE HAVE THE STORM HERE NOW 20°-40'S RAIN, ICE, SNOW
REPEAT, REPEAT. I, TO WOULD RATHER HAVE 50°S LIKE YOU HAVE.
GOD 17:55 BLESS YOU BILL AND ELIZABETH
ENJOY THE HOT TUB.❤️❤️🌹🥀🌹🥀🀄🙏🇮🇱🙏🛐🛐🛐✝️✝️✝️✨🛐✝️
HALLELUJAH AMEN 🛐✝️
Thank you for those encouraging words. I too had family that accepted Christ just before they died. My sister in law was there with them at the time and led them to the Lord. I am so grateful to her. I'm looking forward to seeing my mother's sister and father's brother in heaven now thanks to her. I have two unsaved children. So glad my parents did not live to see them like this. My mother died knowing my middle son and wife were saved but was still praying for my other two. The Lord is coming soon. I pray they will turn to the Lord before that. Maranatha.
@@wendyburston3132 they WILL. You have faith. PRAYED for each of them. I too. GOD told me years ago, my girls will come back and serve our LORD. I'm thankful that we can share. It's God's timing. Not ours. I hope we can share again. Love and PRAYING with you in JESUS'S NAME AMEN HALLELUJAH AMEN 🛐✝️🀄
God is so faithful! I had been praying for my dad for 55 years and right before his death he gave his heart to Jesus. I can never thank God enough that I’ll see Dad in heaven! 🥹
AWESOME !!!!!
North Florida has more temperature changes than South, but I like that...even if I have to wear socks:)
😄
I see fla is hving same bad weather hving hope u r safe..
We’re fine so far. But it is VERY windy.
There is supposed to be a bad storm coming thru north Florida and then in central Florida on Tuesday or maybe it already came please be carefull and let us know how you are
We came through fine. Lots of thunder and lightning and wind (and a tornado watch), but no tornado here.
Wow. Great idea. 😅
Awesome job Bill😅
I have a inflatable Hot Tub from QVC it's 3yrs old and love it. Here in Pennsylvaniawe we another storm hitting us this upcoming weekend January 13th through the 14th. Do you worry about about large snakes where you live ?
There are snakes EVERYWHERE in the country. But we haven't even seen one here. No, I never give a thought to snakes.
Ah Elizabeth. Your smile just lights up the screen. Thank you for that brightness this morning! Looking forward vicariously to the completion of the hot tub installation. We want one so bad, but they're a bit speedy for us right now.
❤ you're going to enjoy your hot tub a lot I've never had one but my son has one and he has back trouble and gets in at 3 or 4 times a day❤ he says it really helps us back
😊👍🏼
It's a CAMRUCK!
🤣⛺🚚
Getting in and out may be difficult for a portable hot tub so analyze that as well.
I wish i had a hard working handyman. I would love to buy a hottub.
I hear the ice cream truck ❤️
😄
Ok I just have to ask…Why are you installing in the front? Wouldn’t you like more privacy? OR are you going to put up some sort of privacy screen? Thanks. What a great idea 💡
Where, on our property could we get more privacy? We have a corner lot, so our entire property is visible from the road! There is no privacy fence. And there's no door in the back of the house. So if we put it in back, we would have to go out the front door and walk all the way around back to the tub, which is still visible from the road.
Didnt we see a back door in the kitchen shelves video? or is that door on the side? @@LiveSimpleLiveFree
@@danielmccrary9069 that kitchen door is on the side, under the carport, which faces forward. There is no access out the back of the house. And there’s no fence out back anyway. It’s just an open lawn right next to the road.
Got it! That makes sense. You are both wonderful people! Truly enjoy your videos! :) @@LiveSimpleLiveFree
Just wanted to let you know (hopefully you already do) a particularly dangerous weather system is heading your way within hours. A line of tornado warned thunderstorms are bearing down on the panhandle.
We came through fine.
Bill...YOU Deserve an Ice Cream💗
Ha!
Enjoy your hot tub. Be blessed.
Never a dull moment with Elizabeth and Bill. Don't have too much fun now.lol
Your area is under a Tornado Watch!! Where do you take shelter in the event a tornado approaches since you don't have a basement? Are there shelters people evacuate to? Stay safe 💘
I have no idea.
Bottle jacks would’ve been handy
Yup. I have some up in VA.
Well Bill You rascal , you shaved off your Beard ! Enjoy the Florida weather ! And that Hot tub !
No, I just trimmed it a little too short. It’ll go back in a few days!
I think I would have just stacked blocks all the way to make it easier.
I don't know why that would be any easier. You'd still have to put some wood in there to make it to the right level.
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree just would for me. Just a small shim maybe but no toenailing.
It looks like your knee is much better? I hope it feels as good as it looks.Im thinking that hot tub will help as well!!!!
It's been 13 months since my knee injury. It's about 95% healed. I only occasionally get a little pain. Yes, I think the hot tub will help.
How awesome to get a hot tub. It’s a glorious luxury that you deserve, and you will reap many good benefits from it. ♥️🙏🏼♥️
I wouldn’t go under that house for anything…too many 🕷️s under there for me!!!😵💫
Just part of the job!
You need a Florida set of knee pads! No doubt, you’ll need to go under the house from time to time.
Going under the house in Florida is not hard on my knees because it’s all sand
Floor support: don't want the tub to be a "sink"
😂
Wishing your knee well Bill :)
My knee is fine, thank you
