Great bag but if you have a 17" ASUS ROG laptop it won't fit in the laptop sleeve. It will fit in that area but not in the actual sleeve. No big deal but worth pointing out.
Does anyone know what the metal circles on the front are for? I'm guessing bungee cords or something for securing.

John Kotcher Targus actually sells a 17" version of this as well and it's only like $10 more dollars.

+John Kotcher metal holes are used for several purposes. I have another Targus bag with grometted holes in the same spot that are for everything from connecting phone to charging block, headphones, etc.

If not actually made by Wenger, it's a direct knockoff of the Wenger (SwissGear) Synergy. P.S, the "grey straps" are part of the suspension system. Perhaps the reviewers should actually read the materials that come with the bags. The top of the shoulder strap harness is elastic and seems to be the greatest cause of failure in these bags. After further review of several other vids on this bag, I'd have to say it appears to be much more cheaply made than the Synergy.

RJT21 I'm not crazy because I have the same backpack except it's from SwissGear. I'm surprised of how exact the Targus is to the SwissGear... did they get the patent or something?

I have this bag, and honestly it is not super durable. My old bad is an Oakley, and it survived for three years. For this one, the stitches on straps loses after 6 months of usage. I am still using it, but the stitches are really bad :(

Ok in My country México Oakley is super expensive, any modelo around 4 times the price of Targus, i think Samsonite are better than Oakley ando more durable, 6 years of heavy duty use and like new
