GLASS SHARDS, Removed From EAR

A patient who years before was in an accident in which his ear canal was showered with glass. Now with unrelated significant hearing loss, but can't be fitted for hearing aids (molds) until the ear canal is completely cleared out of all the glass.

I got into an accident last week and some small glass shards went into my left ear. I'll have it removed tomorrow i hope it doesn't hurt.

I feel so bad for the patient :( at least they got treatment but I hope that didn't hurt them

Patient easily tolerated the removal awake in office and will now benefit from hearing aids. All good!!
