When you call them leopard puffers, people will get them confused with green spotted puffers (Tetraodon Nigroviridis). The common name for the ones you’re catching are checkered puffers (Sphoeroides testudineus). :) just wanted to let people in general know! Huge puffer fan for 15 years 💕 it hurts me to see them hanging on the hook 😥 and not all of them can release all the air so it’s best to keep an eye out for how they’re behaving!
