Caddo Lake really surprised me! This was a real interesting twist on time travel and it succeeded! What did you think of this movie? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Within the first 10 minutes, I thought to myself,'there is no way this movie will not be good'. I was right. I was just flipping through my laptop and came across this movie, and without thinking, I pressed play. Almost as if I already knew it was going to be good. Beautiful actors, empathic characters, peaceful scenery that helped me focus on what was truly important about the movie.
Oh man you missed the main concept of the plot. Who stole heroine's boat, it's her, heroine's copy version, another heroin stole that boat, you never talk about double action, one heroin went to 1952 & another one remains in current timeline. That's why in climax they are not only Mom & daughter also sisters. The best time travel concept i ever seen in my entire life 🖤 mind blowing screen play 🖤 perfect twists

I wanted him to take Anna back through the portal so bad I was yelling at the tv! I loved suffering through DARK but I was like “nooooo you have no idea how far this can go!!”
Sad story for Paris. Though if he didn’t die in 2022, he never would have “runaway” from Celeste in 2003. Celeste never would have gotten with Daniel. Ellie wouldn’t have felt unwelcomed and runaway to Claire’s. Anna would have never followed her,(the second time) never would have gotten lost in the portal, and never would have grown up in 1952 in order to give birth to Paris. Well at least Paris got peace with the fact that he saved his mother and finally understood what happened to her.
I just watched this yesterday, and it was freaking awesome! And at the end when she said "they didn't mean to leave us" i fell apart, and tears were running down my face until and even through the credits

okay..when Paris and Cee were just dating, what year was that? There was no mention of him and Cee having a child while he was out searching the water and he ran across Anna in 1952, then he went to 2022. Was Cee unknowingly pregnant already in 2003 when Paris went missing? In 2005 Ellie ran across Cee (her mom with baby Ellie) in the parking lot while Paris was missing and Cee argued with a "woman"(Ellie), about Paris missing and assumed that was who he LEFT HER AND THE BABY Ellie for. (even though there was no mention that he knew he had a child....and this "woman"(Ellie) Cee argued with looks identical to her daugher Ellie after she grew up, but the older Cee never realized this although she remembers the sort of fight they had about Paris/the necklace and thinking Paris ran off with that "woman" Eliie
@@jariilo She time travels to 1952 and gets stuck there, forcing her to live her life onwards from there. She then gives birth to Paris, then she dies in 1999 in the car accident. Paris time travels to 1952 in 2003 and finds his 8 year old mother there and gives her to the workers. Remember, Anna was born in 2014, so essentially another version of herself would be born in that year, and then go on to go missing in 2022. That's why Paris finds her in 1952.
@@rbz1That was 2003. There's no mention of them having a child at the time because the child wasn't born yet. I believe Celeste becomes pregnant after they have sex in that one scene (you don't see it, though). So she must've discovered she was pregnant after Paris disappeared. As for the last part of your comment, I guess Celeste forgot what she looked like seeing as it happened 19 years ago.
Not sure if you've seen the Netflix series Dark but that's also a mystery thriller about a missing persons case turned time travel conspiracy. I was reminded a lot of that show when the reveal happened and while I thought this was a decent film, I couldn't help but think that Dark did this concept much better and more effectively. I'd love to hear you do a breakdown of the series one day. It's so phenomenal.
Me and my friend sounded so silly when we're trying to make sense of it all the funny thing is I believe we were right most of the time but it was alot
I just finished the movie and I was so confused that had to come and look for a review. That's how I ran into your video. Thanks for explaining it and making it easier for me .
This movie is 10/10. Form the acting, to the writing, to the cinematography...this film will stick with me and become my new go to reccomendation to friends.
My only question is why there's no fuss in 1952 about Anna? I mean, I'm sure when she's finally woke up, she will asking for her parents and confused of the time period (the technology, fashion, etc) and finally realized she just traveled backwards in time. I can imagine it becomes a headline about "child from the future" in newspapers. Instead she seems just live her life normally as if she was born at that time But then again maybe the movie mentioned about this and I don't pay attention
I totally agree with your point! At first, I thought Anna had traveled from 1952 to 2022, but it was actually the opposite. An 8-year-old child wouldn't ask, 'What am I doing here?' As you said, she would have either been in the newspapers or in a mental hospital because people wouldn't have believed her story.
Movie sucked, it tried to be deep 😆 I gave up on it halfway once they both were time traveling I was like wtf 😆 I went into it thinking it was a creature feature
@farzanm8253 my personal theory is that everyone in 1952 maybe thought she was delirious from her injury, or just a traumatized child playing make believe. And I noticed in the pictures ellie looked at, Anna looked happier as the years went on. So I suppose she eventually adjusted, or maybe even convinced herself she was imagining the time jump. I could be wrong though!
Makes me wonder what would have happened if Paris didn't try to outrun the cops. He would have had a better chance of proving his innocence if he had used the internet to his advantage. If Ellie was able to trace Anna's life in one sitting then maybe he would have been able to convince authorities that the missing child on tv is the same kid in 1952. Caveat is that he would most likely be stuck in 2022 or subject to testing. Also, having an ID on him would have really helped.
One thing I was confused about was, what happened to Anna when Ellie found her the first time? One scene Ellie was steering the boat back with Anna on it, next scene she's walking into the house (without Anna) and reliving the fight she had with her mom. Can anyone explain?
So here’s my best explanation. I’m pretty sure they explain early in the movie once Anna goes missing that this is the second time she went to go follow Ellie onto the lake. When Ellie finds her for the first time, I believe this is from that first time she followed her as she’s much more upset then she should’ve been, and when she gets back to the house with her it’s pretty obvious because their fight was much more violent, and Ellie was apparently throwing plates at her mom which didn’t happen originally. And then Daniel warned her not to threaten her mom again which made it pretty clear because the fight originally wasn’t that bad or physical at all, she just stormed out after she was caught looking for her dad’s(Paris) death certificate. So I’m pretty sure she went through the time portal and went back in time to the first time she stormed out of the house, found Anna and brought her back and then was super confused with her mom because that fight was from the past, and then tried to get back to her original timeline as her Anna was still missing. Paris was the one who actually found the Anna who went missing from the start of the movie in 2022 and he brought her to 1952 to eventually become his mother. I did find it odd him leaving her there and having an eight-year-old from the future grow up in the 50s, but I guess he had to be born somehow! Pretty good movie overall!
When Ellie finds Anna the first time, Ellie realizes (upon noticing that Anna hasn't lost her front tooth yet) that she was not in the right timeline. This tells us that Anna has gotten lost trying to follow Ellie to Claire's house twice. First time - she gets saved by time travelling Ellie and returned back home safely. Second time - she herself time travels and gets stuck in 1952 and never makes it back home to her parents.
This was actually a very solid movie to be released on streaming. Also I believe the reason Celeste has such a hatred towards her own daughter is because she’s been subconsciously reminded of the girl Paris “left her for” every time she sees her face. Kinda crazy
This movie reminds me a lot of Dark on Netflix. It has 26 episodes, each around 50 minutes long, and tackles a very similar concept but with more substance and depth. I watched the whole thing during lockdown and had a blast. I think I’ve mentioned it before on one of your earlier Black Mirror videos because I thought you would really like it!
The English adaptation of the Dark series is an exceptional film deserving of a theatrical release. It features a mind-bending timeline loop that spans various eras, yet it interconnects two distinct families within a single reality. 👌👏
Thank you for this video, I was so confused by the ending. But now i realize that Paris was in the 2005 timeline the whole movie, while Ellie was in 2022.
Time travel is probably my favorite sci-fi trope. This movie did not disappoint. I haven’t been able to maintain focus on anything lately and this kept my attention from start to finish. My daughter watched it and wanted to watch it again so I just watched it with her with no expectations or pre conceived notions, which made it even better because I went in having no real clue what it was about other than that somebody went missing. It was really good.
I couldn’t help but wonder what Anna’s experience was like leaving 2022 and growing up in 1952. Did she remember her family? Did she tell anyone where she came from? How did she adjust? But it was an amazing movie.
She probably was incredibly confused and suffered from delirium, especially after having being badly injured. She may have completely forgotten about living in 2022 or she did remember, but eventually adjusted to life in the 50's and adapted, being able to live a normal life, which she did. Remember, no one would have believed her anyway, so she must have just stick with it and adapted. However, I wonder how people went about trying to figure out where she was from and who here family was, since she was pretty much all by herself. Now, according to the writers, she likely remembered everything, but simply wasn't believed by anyone around her, and was instead seen as a delusional child - as the years and months passed, it would eventually become a fantasy in her own mind, a memory of a dream. This is why they wrote in her obituary that she was a natural born storyteller - she would basically tell her stories about the future and captivate people.
I know that it seemed strange that Anna never seemed to tell anyone in 1952 that she came from 2002 but when Paris found her she was also knocked out (not only impaled by that piece of bark) maybe (like we see with Paris later) she might have also hit her head from the debris under the water and didn't remember anything after waking up in 1952. I am pretty sure a child with cable TV would mention only having a small black-and-white or new-color TV, lol. So I assumed that she had forgotten about everything before the age of eight. I do find it wild though that Paris' girlfriend raised his mother for a couple of years, lol.
*"I know that it seemed strange that Anna never seemed to tell anyone in 1952 that she came from 2002"* We don't know that she didn't. She probably was incredibly confused and suffered from delirium, especially after having being badly injured. She may have completely forgotten about living in 2022 or she did remember, but eventually adjusted to life in the 50's and adapted, being able to live a normal life, which she did. Doesn't it make you wonder though, how Anna moved on with her life now being in the 50s when she's 8. For example, if she was an adult when this happened, when she woke up in the hospital she definitely would've been thrown in a psych ward for trying to explain that she's not from this time. And how did she move on with her life? 8 years old with nobody in the 50s, she would've been put in an orphanage. The movie was great but this is blowing my mind to think about.
What could an 8 year old do? Someone would have adopted her, and she would have had to move on. She didn't even know what happened to her so she might have forgotten about it over time. Kids adapt surprisingly well.
@@EhIDONTCAREsomeone did adopt her. Her last name became Reed if you look at her photos. She must of just moved on with life. She must of figured her parents aren’t even born yet. She was a smart girl just very emotional
My guess is, after she was wounded, she was left unconscious. So when she woke up she probably didn't even know who she was (just remembered her name, apparently), so it was like a whole life reset for her. She might have never realized she was living in another time.
She actually did. At the very end of the movie, she touches Ellie's scratches and realizes that Ellie was the person she fought with in the parking lot all those years ago. She always assumed that the woman she scratched was who Paris left her for when in actuality, it was her grown up daughter who had travelled back in time.
Just watched this tonight and as the plot started revealing what was happening it was like woah. Ellie and Paris did a great job in these roles bc you felt for them both.
Paris had the unique opportunity of giving up his life to save that is his mom. I’d do the same. ”They didn’t mean to leave us” reminds me of loved ones who are no longer with us. 🥺
@@Jhennieten Right. Which is why his girlfriend told Ellie if she knew where he was to tell him to come back and her car was full of missing person flyers.
Triangle is awesome time travle too taking the time loop concept. Please watch it. I've watched almost all time travel involved movies and tv series. Caddo Lake is like a movie to the greatest time travel series of all time (in my opinion), The Dark available on Netflix.
Daniel is technically Anna's dad, also Anna is Ellie's Grandma so therefore Daniel is Ellie's Great Grandfather..... it's similar to what came first? The chicken or the egg
@@johnbarry4121 i still dont get it. So his not biologically related? Just on "technical" grounds? What would have helped is if we saw a younger daniel. At least, i can try picture him in the timeline. But, Right now, i don’t understand how he just appears in the timeline.
Paris is Ellie's father, and the sister Anne went back in time and became her grandmother who gave birth to her father Paris. Paris then met the mother and had baby Ellie. That lady in 2005 is her mother and the baby is actually her. They both wore yellow too. It's a pretty clever movie. Best movie I've seen since Godzilla Minus One.
sad thing is, paris had to die or i wished he stayed in 2022 bc once he found out whats going on he cant change anything or else he wouldnt have been born
I still don’t understand why Celeste had two of the same necklaces - the one that Paris gave to her that she hung on the rear view mirror and the one she wore around her neck, both in 2005 when Ellie confronts her. Where did the extra one come from?
Because Paris left two. The original one from his mother and the one he found that Ellie lost when she got back from the past and had the fight with her mom.
The necklace is a prime example of the bootstrap paradox that is present within the film. We essentially see two of the same necklace in the film. The first one is the one Anna finds in Celeste's jewellery box. She wears it when she time travels to 1952 and continues to wear it as she grows up. It's then passed onto Paris after her death. The second one is the one Paris finds in the lake. Later on in the film, we learn that it was dropped there by Ellie as she was travelling out of 2005. Paris shows Celeste both necklaces and leaves them with her after he leaves. He then goes missing. We then see both necklaces again when Ellie encounters her past mother and infant self in 2005. One is hanging from the rear view mirror in Celeste's pick up truck and the other is being worn by Celeste. Ellie takes the one from the pick up truck and then drops it in the lake as she's travelling out of 2005. Paris then finds it in 2003. Both necklaces suffer from the same thing: the bootstrap paradox. Basically, neither necklace have an origin. The first necklace Anna gets from Celeste, Celeste got it from Paris, Paris got it from his mother Anna, Anna got it from Celeste, etc. The cycle repeats. The second necklace Ellie gets from Celeste, Celeste got it from Paris, Paris got it from the lake where it was dropped by Ellie, Ellie got it from Celeste, etc. Again, the cycle repeats.
The fact I grew up in it dylan acting in teen wolf and maze runner, and was still able to forget that. I actually saw him as the person I was watching. This movie was good, because all the actors really made you feel like the were actually those people experiencing it.
This movie was well done! Just simply awesome!! I love the fact that the trailer gave nothing away, the movie had a solid foundation before we even knew it was a time travel movie. And even tho right away I figured Anna was his mom...that parking lot scene just blew my mind when I figured out what went down. Awesome 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
A lot of people miss the fact that he knew he saved his mother he even tells his father on his deathbed. I'm going back. I already saved mom, I was wrong..... When he saved the girl he didn't look at her.But when he was in the hospital he saw the anna Bennett on the news cleary His mother with her necklace and recognized a young version of his mother because she would have had other pictures of herself.... He then realizes he saved his mom in 1952.... He just didn't realize he wasn't going to be able to get back.
I've been watching interviews of Dylan taking about the film and he explained that the creaters of the film saw a picture of caddo lake on reddit and fell in love with how beautiful it was and then I guess came up with the rest of the story from like internet Lore I saw something about the lake being haunted online a few days ago, because I had just stumbled onto the trailer that day and I hate scary films so I wanted to do research and deduce if the film was for me and then this morning I was online searching the film release date and saw it was on hbo max already, and watched it.
It's a paradox. Anna would never leave and get lost if Lilly wasn't erratic which happened because of the state her family was, which happened because her father died in the future, which happened because he got accused of Anna's disappearence, which happened because of him helping her, which happened because of him being stuck with his mother's state, which happened because Anna travelled in time, which happened because of Lilly acting weird. Also the fact that he help his mother and put her back in time had a double effect to the paradox making it even more stable an autonomous. The only one who could have solved it though was Anna, as the one who had experienced time travel and got into the past, thus having control over the future. If we even talk about parallel universes than Anna needs to be lost in 1952 in some other way to begin with, and if the Anna we saw solved the paradox that wouldn't erase her from existence.
Please don't spoil the entire twist ending in the thumbnail? I'm glad I already saw the film before you posted this. I knew there was a twist to Caddo but I avoided spoilers and went in blind so I could enjoy the mystery. I will always come and watch your endings explained after I've seen a film and I really enjoy your takes and narration. But I really hate having that joy of discovery taken away by thumbnails, when you don't even have the choice to click on a spoiler warning or not. Please don't do it this way 🙏
Just watched it and loved it. Very sweet ending. Awesome performance by Eliza Skanlan, and it was cool to see Lauren Ambrose again. I've always liked her going back to "Can't Hardly Wait" and "Six Feed Under". And of course Eric Lange is always solid. Great performances all around. Well-written. Loved the southern bayou setting as well.
It is implied that there was a drought in 1999 which is the timeline when the movie starts. Droughts trigger the time portal to open and simultaneously triggers Anna's seizures. It is not known if the severity of her seizures lessen the further she is away from the time portal but it looks like she gets affected by it if she is anywhere in the vicinity of Caddo Lake. I assume the bridge they crashed in is within the town.
@matthewevan5699 Thank you! Someone had reminded me about the timing of the drought that year, but I was SUPER confused about her proximity to that particular area (amongst some trees) in the lake. I didn't even think that that might've affected her in a different way depending on exactly how close she was. Thank you so much 🙂👍🏾I really appreciate your response.
Maybe I misunderstood this, but he said the only one not related to Anna was Celeste, but I thought Celeste had Anna with Daniel? Maybe I missed that Anna was from a previous marriage of Daniel’s…
There’s a part where Ellie asked Anna if she wanted to go back home to Florida and live with her mom. And Anna said no, because she liked living there in texas. So Celeste was Anna’s step mom.
Just finished watching this and instantly thought that you should do a video on this. Looked at the movie’s letterboxd and found out you’re already there 😂 Great video as always man ❤
It’s essentially Netflix’s German series Dark, but set in a swamp instead of a cave, condensed into a feature-length film rather than spanning three seasons.
I loved that it used the same concept but had its own story and emotional tone. You could use this concept around any good characters and you will have a great show/movie Genius stuff
This movie was great! Usually, I'm not a fan of current movies because you know, "the message", but this movie was extremely enjoyable. This is what Hollywood should be about, creativity. I had chills watching this movie. People always complain about comic movies, sequels, lack of creativity, but then ignore movies that is creative. This movie is like the old days when writers didn't think we're too stupid to understand.
Suuuch a good movie. The only thing I didn’t catch was that Daniel was Annas dad. I thought she was adopted. They didn’t make that too clear. But omg soo good. One of Dylans best. Story was so damn good. Pulled at my heart strings
I to think about it for a few minutes but figured out myself, though I did not pay attention to the year in the beggining. I'm not even sure they showed us that the main characters are on different timelines and the novie just jumps between them. Did they give a hint about the two timeline? I font want to rewatch it now.
The movie tells you what year the events take place. The clues are there. We know Anna gets transported to 1952 because the workers flat-out tell Paris that the year is '52. We also know the year Ellie sees her past mother and infant self is 2005 because it says on a poster talking about the elections as well as on the computer screen Ellie uses at the Internet café. We know Paris' present time is 2003 because the missing posters in 2005 say that he was last seen in 2003. And we know Ellie's present time is 2022 because one the paramedics tell Paris that it's 2022 as he's being loaded into the back of the ambulance on a gurney after the boat accident.
I watched this movie and was like, “Wait, Ellie’s mom had sex with her grandson. Ew!” I didn’t realize Celeste was Anna’s step-mom. I thought she was Anna’s biological mother.
She probably was incredibly confused and suffered from delirium, especially after having being badly injured. She may have completely forgotten about living in 2022 or she did remember, but eventually adjusted to life in the 50's and adapted, being able to live a normal life, which she did. The performances were great but I was disappointed w/ how they marketed it as they misled the audience to think it was a horror. It’s just a sci-fi thriller. But I loved Dylan O’Brien and Eliza Scanlan. I will admit that I figured everything out VERY early on in the movie. As soon as I saw the 2 different versions of the bridges, I connected all of the dots so the suspense was denied in the latter half for me but it was a good Saturday night movie as mentioned.
I just watched by chance, looking for something to watch and let me say, I'm glad I took a chance on it. I cried mostly at the end, and I hoped Paris would make it back home.😢
I'm happy to see something different and not another spin off. Great movie! I watched it again after I was done just to make sense of anything I missed. They covered a lot in the beginning the native Americans mentioned in the beginning. The moths are covered at the dinner table.
I went into this movie blind and loved it. If you like this movie then watch the Series called Dark. Both are very good. Being stranded in time is an absolute nightmare!
Ellie realized that they were in the past, and in a time warp, because she knew that Anna had a missing tooth in the present time, so that is when Ellie realized that they were going through like time loops
When she found Anna, it was one of those times she followed her, before she lost her tooth. They mentioned that it wasn't the first time she followed her and got lost.
I just watched this movie today…not watching a trailer…I was shocked it took this route but it was really good…I’m gonna tell people to check it out but I don’t want to give away too much because I think the turn is better not knowing
I like that it's a time travel movie but it's a bit too convoluted to follow, I find. I needed wiki to help keep the relationships understandable. However I am a fan of DARK so I still end up really liking it
I still feel like all of this could have been stopped if he would have just stopped for a moment in 1952 or in 2003 and wrote a letter to himself explaining what would happen and what he would have to do. So when the Time portal opens All he has to do is walk through mail the letter to his future self who reads it will know that his mother's going to die at a specific time point in 1999 which he can stop from happening but he will also have to explain to himself that the child he saves has to be sent to 1952 in order for the cycle to continue if not he ceases to exist. 🤔🤔
Why Anna was 8 yr old in 2014
The ending was sad, I wish Paris would’ve lived and stayed in 2022 with Ellie.
I would've liked it if he had made it back home
Me too 😢
@@BrainPilothad he made it back home he wouldn’t have been born. Cause Celeste wouldn’t have been with Daniel and Anna would’ve never been born to be taken back to 52
@karinalumen9722 yea lol time is weird
This is the perfect explanation ❤

how can paris carry is mom born in the 2000’s to 52’ tho if she wasn’t born in the 40’s. he wouldn’t be alive
okay..when Paris and Cee were just dating, what year was that?

It's actually Netflex's DARK but the American version!
Same!!! I scrolled past it many times based on the trailer but I'm so glad I watched it
Not sure if you've seen the Netflix series Dark but that's also a mystery thriller about a missing persons case turned time travel conspiracy. I was reminded a lot of that show when the reveal happened and while I thought this was a decent film, I couldn't help but think that Dark did this concept much better and more effectively. I'd love to hear you do a breakdown of the series one day. It's so phenomenal.
I agree. Dark is a phenomenal show.

Yeah it really took me by surprise!
Totally agree with you…apart from the CGI 😬
@@ZaynePooleVideography I can agree with this!
Instead she seems just live her life normally as if she was born at that time
But then again maybe the movie mentioned about this and I don't pay attention
I totally agree with your point! At first, I thought Anna had traveled from 1952 to 2022, but it was actually the opposite. An 8-year-old child wouldn't ask, 'What am I doing here?' As you said, she would have either been in the newspapers or in a mental hospital because people wouldn't have believed her story.
Yeah, that was puzzling to me as well
Movie sucked, it tried to be deep 😆 I gave up on it halfway once they both were time traveling I was like wtf 😆 I went into it thinking it was a creature feature
Thats Anna won't remember a thing for sure thats why she lived in 1952 era.
@@ImJMBRICEso Ana is vanished in year 2022 right? She’s still be missing in 2022? Cause that’s what I didn’t understand

Yeah this was a real good spin on the genre!
I couldn’t help but wonder what Anna’s experience was like leaving 2022 and growing up in 1952. Did she remember her family? Did she tell anyone where she came from? How did she adjust? But it was an amazing movie.
Right, Surprised They Didn't Lock Anna Up In An Asylum Talking That BS Time Travel, Lol
That explains why there wasn’t an older version of Paris, like for Celene
true!
Loooooved this movie!!!!!! Really wish Paris would’ve lived 😢 Acting was amazing by the whole cast
You forgot to mention that it was Ellie who stole her own boat.
*"I know that it seemed strange that Anna never seemed to tell anyone in 1952 that she came from 2002"*

😂
Exact thought I had!
Loophole, old Cee didn't recognise grown-up Ellie as the same person she saw burgle that necklace in 2005.
She actually did. At the very end of the movie, she touches Ellie's scratches and realizes that Ellie was the person she fought with in the parking lot all those years ago. She always assumed that the woman she scratched was who Paris left her for when in actuality, it was her grown up daughter who had travelled back in time.

@@dadagirl29But technically there should only be one. Right? 😵💫

When Anna got help in 1952 as a kid I’m confused as to why she wasn’t saying “I’m not from this year and I have a family”
How do you know she didn't?
A lot of people miss the fact that he knew he saved his mother he even tells his father on his deathbed. I'm going back. I already saved mom, I was wrong..... When he saved the girl he didn't look at her.But when he was in the hospital he saw the anna Bennett on the news cleary His mother with her necklace and recognized a young version of his mother because she would have had other pictures of herself.... He then realizes he saved his mom in 1952.... He just didn't realize he wasn't going to be able to get back.
This movie is good, but should start by thanking the Netflix series Dark for the entire concept.
I was left saying, "What did i just watch?" What an amazing movie. 👏
Everyone was suprised with truely masterpiece. My reaction was same
It's a paradox.

Please someone answer: why was there an accident at the movie's beginning if there was no drought nor near that particular spot in the lake? Thanks!

Time travel always creates a endless repeating loop of events thru timelines forever
Such a beautiful movie visually and emotionally. With the ending I did not expect to cry but it was so beautifuly sad

Does Anna remember the 2022 timeline when she was in 1952? Why does she not talk about the time travel she just experienced?

As soon as I saw the 2 different versions of the bridges, I connected all of the dots so the suspense was denied in the latter half for me but it was a good Saturday night movie as mentioned.
why they are choose a cancer necklace? is there any meaning related to the past-future? i dont get it cz i dont learn zodiac
ABSOLUTE BANGER!!!!!!!!!
Definitely!
So exactly like the show Dark but less complicated Dark is one of the best scifi show ever❤
Very similar!
So Anna was daniels child with another woman? Not c?
Correct.
I just watched by chance, looking for something to watch and let me say, I'm glad I took a chance on it. I cried mostly at the end, and I hoped Paris would make it back home.😢
Yeah it's such an awesome movie!
This movie is literally Dark but with a lake instead of the cave, if you haven’t seen the show and enjoyed this movie pls watch it.
Any chance of caddo lake 2?
I doubt it!
I missed what happened when Ellie found Anna with her tooth still there? What was the out come of that?
Ellie realized that they were in the past, and in a time warp, because she knew that Anna had a missing tooth in the present time, so that is when Ellie realized that they were going through like time loops
When she found Anna, it was one of those times she followed her, before she lost her tooth. They mentioned that it wasn't the first time she followed her and got lost.
@@DroneStrike1776 Yep. Ellie even says "that was a month ago".
Is it just me or when they show the lake in a high view that it looks EXACTLY like the necklace they had ♋
I really liked it as well.
Yeah it was surprisingly awesome!
Celest isn’t Anna’s mother? She was her stepmother?
Correct.
Just watch the movie and my brain isn't braning anymore
