I'm actually trading in my 17 Corolla for this car this week. The Elantra just speaks to me more. The interior is much more pleasant to look at, to me.
I just bought this EXACT car yesterday 😍🙌🏾🙌🏾🖤 This was such a great review! I literally now just know about the extra tire, and the option to change my tail lights! Thank you! If anyone reading this has any tips and tricks let me know! My favorite feature is the blind spot protection, and the fuel efficiency, especially being my first car! 💅🏾

You can get this model for $16,200 before taxes and plates. If you have a trade in, don't bring it up until the end. Check Kelley Blue book to get a fair deal on your trade in. Do NOT get any add-ons. Get financing from your local credit union. Lock in your price by phone and drop by with the check made out already. Do not do down payment, instead use that money to pay the sales tax and plates, preferably separate, because then you will pay less interest.
so im 1 year into this car and i must say i have no complaints other than constantly having to switch through 3 drive modes when im in a cram and need a quick speed out. When youre in eco it takes so long for that first burst of speed after slamming the pedal down. When im in sport it flies out. Other than that steering is great, spacious, apple car play etc just a great car.
I've had a 17 Value Edition Electric Blue since December 2016 with 11030 miles on it and it is absolutely perfect. Zero problems so far with normal maintenance, comfy, great gas mileage with cruise control mpg @mph 42@60 and 37@70 and my record is 48@55. Suburb driving gets me about 32 mpg. It is really comfy and the quality of everything feels good to he touch and built to last. I did about 10 months of research and this is where I ended up and with no regrets. I recommend it regularly at any chance I get.
Peter Gilbert I am currently in my research phase. I’m getting this car next year and I love this car so much. Since 2014 I’ve always known I wanted Hyundai Elantra and now I’ve found the one!
I purchased a brand new 2019 Elantra Value Edition last June and just love it (I wasn't expecting to fall in love with it)! Excellent features, great build quality, over 8k miles and not one single issue.
Car looks very expensive but it’s not. Once I win my buyback car on the ford I have, I’m getting the sport package. Never get a ford it’s bad for transmission
The Elantra is a wonderful car to own. I bought a 2006 brand new. They are low maintenance cars and good on gas. I recently bought a 2017 Veloster. Everything I wanted in a car and more.
Really love this generation of Elantra. I want the sport edition but it would be nice if it came in cloth seats. Cloth is better material than leather in my opinion.
@@caerys Doesn't get as hot in the summer and it feels warmer in the winter. I guess I just like the feel of it better. But yea leather cleans easier that is for sure ha
You do a good job telling a story about the car and how that relates to a driver, I have watched a 'few' of the sites that are semi- professionally done , your ability to get information out is as good, and you are easier to understand.
Wow thank you for the kind words, we're happy that you enjoyed the video! Hopefully this helped you with your car buying process! We post these reviews weekly so be sure to subscribe!
Holy shit this man is a awesome dealer ! I’m interested in purchasing this vehicle and now I’m even more interested than before... GREAT JOB MAN !! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
We just bought the 2018 Hyundai Elantra SEL. and we love it, however there are some features the value edition has that I would love. The sunroof, heated seats and the duel air condition controls plus the smart trunk, but we got a great buy on the 2018 SEL and it is a nice car., However we might just wait a year and then trade it in for the value trim.
Agreed. I actually have the 2018 Elantra Value Edition & I absolutely love it. I use all the features you named on a daily basis. But we're happy you're enjoying your SEL! Thanks for the comment!
He mentions that the vehicle has a 5 year 60,000 new car factory warranty, 10 year 100,000 power train warranty and a 5 year unlimited miles road side assistance. Are all these included with a base model or does one have to pay extra for this?
Thanks for the info! Also, what are the differences in dimensions in the inside of the vehicles between the 2018 Hyundai Elantra and the 2018 Hyundai Accent (base model)?
Both vehicles have similar head room at 38 in. and they both also have similar leg room at 42 in. The 2018 Elantra is going to have a tad bit more shoulder and hip room than the Accent and the Elantra is also going to have more cargo and passenger volume. Overall the Elantra is going to be larger interior wise by 6 cubic ft.
@@UniversalHyundaiOrlando Thanks so much. Its such a relief to hear, was worried I have to change the brakes and suspensions to be able to change the wheel to 17's and 18's
@@harryagyemang8311 No you will be fine, they just offer lower rim size at the lower trim level. I also have an 18 elantra value and looking to get some wheels in the near future.
first mistake he said was with the battery and alternator thing yeah the alternator may shut off so the battery doesnt over charge but the battery wont shut off because if that shut off the car would shut off....
We know it kills it for some people, but others don't mind. It is a dealer installed vinyl. So after you have purchased a vehicle, our detail shop has no problem removing it.
Does anyone know how to make the steering wheel go back and fourth? I know he mentions telescopic steering wheel but I have the exact same car and can’t seem to find where it is
There is a small lever on the bottom left of the steering wheel. If you pull it down, you will be able to move the steering wheel up, down, back & forth.
Sealed transmission = blows up the day after your warranty expires. I'm going to have to research if the fluid is still replaceable or not, hopefully there are still drain & fill plugs. If not, it's a deal killer for me.
Most cars trucks and suvs nowadays have sealed transmissions. That doesn’t mean it’s gonna blow up. The fluid IS replaceable and of course there are drain and fill plugs. I work for Hyundai and they are very easy cars to work on.
Yes the fluid can be changed. There's just no dipstick to check fluid level or quality, from what I understand. "Sealed" doesn't mean you chuck the transmission when it's time to replace the fluid. LOL
@@UniversalHyundaiOrlando the bluelink is ok. My favorite features are the power lumbar support, factory navigation, leather seats, upgraded sound system, active lane keep assist, and smart cruise control. The lumbar support is what really sealed the deal for me. You can't find this on most compact cars. Obviously the blind spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert are awesome too but those are not unique to the Limited.
Very nice, looks like you're getting the most out of all of your features. The sound system upgrade is quite noticeable and definitely worth upgrading for. As are all of the other features. Especially the safety features. We're happy to hear that you are loving your Elantra!
this guy is going to own his own dealership one day
Since he’s saying complete crap that means nothing. Battery and alternator working lol. Transmission sealed lol.
@@rohan9089 "You're good to go" LOL
I just bought my new Hyundai Elantra Value and im absolutely in love. She is perfect
how is the lumbar support? does it support your lower back well?
Yes it does Michael, it’s very comfy and well padded on both sides as well.
He is perfect ! Lol !
How's the car so far Monica?
may i ask, no vibration?, not noisy?
I’m sold. Dude’s a salesman I’m telling you.

How do you make the day time lights flash like in the beginning of the video
The daytime lights don't actually flash like that, it's just what the camera picks up due to the frame rate.
Why the white lineeee!!??

Aluminum spark plugs?
