Hello from Canada(Quebec), first time i watch your podcast and love your work. Wow this cardigan is absolutely. beautiful. One more to be added in my future projects :). Thanks fir sharing.
A beautiful episode Claire. Thank you so much for including us! I'm a huge fan of your designs and super excited about working with you again. Much love Rachel xx
Brilliant podcast 👍 I love the shawl pattern and the detail is absolutely gorgeous, can’t wait to see it finished. Cardigan is in a beautiful colour and looks very stylish and would work well for either dressing up or dressing with jeans. Tilly looking cute as ever and lovely shots of the beach. Looking forward to next podcast.
I am looking forward to the publication of your beautiful cardigan! I am making a cardigan at the moment using an early pattern in the first Laine magazine, Lanes, and Hillsvag's Tinde yarn, a lovely rustic Norwegian yarn that I bought in Norway two years ago.
Hello to you Claire I’m from Minnesota USA. I just discovered your channel. I’m working on a small shawl for my sister called Spring Kerchief in Holst Titicaca, a scrappy blanket Granny stripe crochet, I put summer longing into time out until I can clear up brain space to continue. My plan was to begin Lightweight Hipster tomorrow for JOJI fall Kal. Good intentions My sister is not a knitter and her birthday is 9/11 so this quick shawl needs to get finished. Your cardigan is lovely and I also love the texture of the shawl you have started both are tempting prospects for future knitting
Hi Claire, loved your podcast again. Your new cardigan pattern is gorgeous! I'm hopeless at thinking of names............so no help there, but I love Patti's suggestion of "Cwtch" (Hug) for such a cosy garment! I might have to give 'Tangled Yarns' a visit, not far from me in Warrington. 😉
Hi Claire, I really enjoy your podcasts and love that cardigan, can't wait to get my hands on the pattern. No clue on a name though, sorry. I'm knitting on my third Musselburgh hat as I'm watching, it's a great pattern, so cosy and easy. Looking forward to the next Flossi podcast. Judi
What a lovely cardigan! As a fairly active test knitter I have really appreciated designers who have made possible the social aspect of test knitting, not just the feedback to the designer. ❤️ I guess test knitting is a similar experience for me as KALs are for some knitters - rather social than technical.
Such a pretty sweater! I couldn’t see the speckles of color in the candy color yarn, I have their yarn and just saw it in a yarn store ( no speckles) - the yarn in fingering weight goes from thick to thin, it drives me a little crazy, some people say it’s soft but I find it rather course. The fingering weight is very light fingering- just wanted people to know if they plan to order online if they can’t see it at their lys.
Enjoyed every minute. Another LOVELY episode. Signed up for your newsletter. Appreciated the look into the design process from pattern to tech edited to testing. I googled Names for Grey cardigans and a baby website came up suggesting: Floyd is a male Welsh name derived from the Welsh “Llwyd”. It means “grey or grey-haired”. P.S. Tilly is so so sweet!
Hi Claire, love the new cardigan, it's beautiful and looks like a knitted hug - so suggest 'Cwtch' - pronounced cutch, which is Hug in Welsh. A big Welsh Cwtch to you and Tilly, from the hills of Mid Wales xxx
Oh, my! I am in love with your cardigan! I just send an email for joining the test knit and hope to be lucky but if not, no problem, I will wait for the pattern to buy it. I love cardigans and since I am about to finish another one, these days I was searching for cardigans pattern and now I saw yours ❤️
The cardi is lovely! It reminds my of a modern version of what Joan Hickson would wear in the Miss Marple Series from the 80s 🫖🥮 Maybe Joan? As a tribute to her ☺️ Cheers!
Thank you for another lovely podcast . Love love your new cardigan design, it’s gorgeous well done you!!! What about Genevieve or Meredith for your cardigan beautiful Welsh names 😍

Lovely new cardigan pattern Claire! How about “THE MEDDAL CARDIGAN” for the name? It is Welsh for “soft”. Margaret (also a Brit but in Vancouver!).
