This was super helpful! By the time I started putting mine together, I was already familiar with the entire process. Thank you!
That music tho. Eventually had to mute and go with captions.

Watched this video a handful of times before setting up my cns. As a result the background music in this video was in my head the entire time I was assembling my saw. Like, I read the instructions, then go to perform the step, then all of a sudden, “da da, da da, da da da, woot woot”

I'm putting one of these together in a couple hours at work. Thanks for the informative video. It looks really straightforward.

Just started tackling mine. I'm at the point where I've gotta lure some poor soul over to help me lift the big part out of the box!

Quick question, would it be possible to put this table together without the wheels and add them at a later time? I just bought that table, didn’t purchase the wheels though. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks.

This really helped thanks...but did you have trouble attaching the saw to the stand as I did?
They might have made the bolts a bit longer though.
I had to omit one washer because there wasn't enough room for the washer, lock washer and nut. I figure it wont hurt.
    This demo was great.

I thought the directions on the first laminated sheet (stand, saw mount, motor mount) were excellent. The second laminated sheet for installing the rails is confusing. sawstop sent me an extra set of rails (by mistake) and it was really hard to tell the front/rear rails are different and where to install. (not numbered) The fact the directions are the same for contractor and cabinet saws doesn't help.

What size are those bolts for aligning the base?

Thank you so much for this video! I'm getting ready to order this very model so this was a fantastic video to watch so I know what to expect from delivery to completing assembly. I was debating weather to get the cast iron wings upgrade and this helped me decide. I think it was in another video you made where you explained the aluminum wings weren't exactly flush with saw base. I'd rather not fuss with that so am going with cast iron.
I will be assembling in garage with an uneven grade. Do you recommend I build a level platform to assemble on or can I level base feet and get same effect?

Bolt together metal stands can be assembled "wracked" when you tighten up bolts with the legs not on flat, level ground. Unless the grade is just horrible, you should be able to make use of the leg levelers (or some shim stock under them) to get the stand level before you snug up the bolts. Using bolts or dowels in the holes of the top portion of the stand to keep those panels lined up, like shown in the video, should also prove useful to minimize wracking due to an uneven floor during the assembly of the stand.
