I have not gotten to the Owlbear myself yet, but if it's anything like the Warden from the Capital Jail then there might be a way to cheese it... The Warden was a boss who's attacks were *all* Physical AoEs, so what I was able to do was set up 1 character as a Tank with as much Defence as possible (plus a Poison Immunity accessory to alleviate the DoTs somewhat) and had the rest of the party use the Rogue subclass for Agile Stance (Cut your Defence in half, but automatically dodge all AoE Physical attacks if you're not Top Threat). This meant that I was able to focus on healing / cleansing only 1 character (Warlock Doublecast FTW!) instead of having to try and constantly babysit the entire party.
An alternative I've done for bosses that like to debuff the whole party is a Warlock with Nomad as their sub skillet - Therapy Stance works on Remedy, turning it into a whole party status cleanse. Granted, the DoTs are better off evaded like you'd done, but sometimes the game doesn't give you a choice.
I don't think this is actually endgame. The stuff that happened afterwards feels like this is probably about 1/2th to 2/3rds of the way through the game at the very most.
Yeah it's late game but probably not end. This game is souls like in the way it has bosses scattered around the map. You get an achievement for 500 bosses I think. Spoilers: to be fair, you can just walk around the fence next to the locked door to get in that area. I got there way sooner than I think is intended, but the money grind was great
THE Owlbear ...I said screw that guy, I lured him and he fell into the interior tower. I got my owl and did not try to fight him again yet.
Your secondary class setups are rly interesting, I wouldn't have thought to combine warlock and hunter or Rogue and chemist but they seem to work well
Not just an owlbear, but THE Owlbear!

The place is called Land's End, its actually not the endgame 🤣
Well, it _is_ the end of the land you can reach on foot, so maybe that's it?
Wow end game already?? The game just released 2 days ago!

your choice to stop or grind go find bigger bosses.
