The line about Geralt walking away from Yen during the escort does exist. I got it by accident yesterday. Can't remember the exact words but it does exist.
Yen sort of sighs and then says something like “alright...I‘ll see you in Larvik.” You can get her line by running after her on foot and as she gradually disappears with her horse from sight, you can hear her line.

during the long live the king, the king is dead quest. if you leave yen after you enter the gates, (i went to go to the blacksmith and armorer, she gets mad and says she will just wait for me at the feast room. maybe that is what you were remembering.
That was the first thing I did on my second play through 5 years after release. started in Skellige then to Novigrad and then Velen... The order Ciri visited the places... Nice, that you made a video about it! Great work mate!
I wandered off during the letho quest to turn in the haunted mansion mission reward and when i went to go and do letho’s quest, I couldn’t find it in my journal, until i looked in quest completed and figured straying too far from him can prematurely end his quest. Cool little feature but i REALLY hate just how i found out about it
When I went there I saw the ghosts instead of the traps in my last run thought I let "The Witcher 2" story influecne the game. Problem was I didnt had a File from a finished Witcher 2 game so the game just decided that I killed him in the Witcher 2 story.
I just found yesterday that in the quest "The Fall of House Reardon" if you finish up with Letho and return to the manor after having told the lady owner it's clean, you can return there and have a short dialogue with her. I'm unsure whether the dialogue is different depending on the time you initiate it: before discovering and taking the treasure or after.
Me too, but add plathroughs 2 and 3. I have never gotten the "normal" sequence I guess lol. I do side missions first in all my games though, that's probably why.
I've always killed Morkvag before seeing Yen. I like to catch up with the side quests at my level, or lower, before hitting the story quests in the area.
And when you don't have a major publisher like EA dictating release dates and terms. Freedom to experiment and take your time to perfect games is a rare thing for modern AAA developers.
You were right about following Yen to Larvik and then leaving. I got that dialogue when I did the same thing but didn't return to Larvik for several days.
Yeah😂 First I wanted to save the wolfy, but I didn't know how.😂 Then I realized it's kinda boring and I don't really care this quest, so I left Morkvarg there with his problems.🙃Cause I had more important things to do: find Ciri for example.😂 So Morkvarg waited almost 1 year till I finally save him.
I only encovered half of the line in the garden before. I don't know what I did different then (it was my first playthrough), but since then I never again encountered it.
1:20 if you say you'll go to Lofoten yourself after the Mask quest, then go to Morkvarg before meeting yennefer near the cemetery/shore in the East, then you get the same dialogue about already dealing with Morkvarg as well. You don't need to skip the whole King Bran sequence.
Are there any games as well thought out as this? This game ruined every other rpg for me (especially persona5) because it set a new standard. I hope cdpr takes us back one day.
How did it ruin P5? They are two different games. Person 5 is more linear and and a finalfantasy-style RPG with Monstercatching and Datingsim elements while the other is a Action RPG with many sidequests etc.
I always got this. As soon as I get the quest to use the mask, I do all the sidequests in Skellige, which includes the priests wanting me to kill morkvarg.
Ahhhh,my friend. If Yennefer's name is in the title,I'll click it no matter what. We'll marry this summer and I want you to be my witness when I accept Yen to be my bride. It'd be an honor for me.
Seeing this level of detail just makes me more sad about Cyberpunk 2077. I don't know if they can afford to patch and finish everything but I hope it's in a good place soon
(05:30) Yennefer has a snippy line when Geralt wonders off between your first meeting of Birna and going to the hall for Bran's wake (I got it when going to the Blacksmith and Armourer) Maybe this is the line you're thinking of if you stray too far from Yennefer (Also fall a subtask in The King Is Dead quest) (You've probably addressed this in another video or someone has beat me to it)
Nah. Only one way to do it. Romance them both. In fact romance every woman you can cuz the witcher mutations effect libido. Then at the end honor vessemir by continuing down the path with your main squeeze roach. Horses before hoes.
During my first playthrough I ended up seeing Morkvarg for the first time with Yen. But that garden is so confusing for some reason, the combination of two quests at once (essentially) just added to the confusion. From then on I always take care of Morkvarg first before going there with Yen.
Hey maybe u could make a video about differencess between certain dialogues depending on the woman u chose? Sory for my english, hope u know what i meant

during the long live the king, the king is dead quest. if you leave yen after you enter the gates, (i went to go to the blacksmith and armorer, she gets mad and says she will just wait for me at the feast room.
maybe that is what you were remembering.
That was the first thing I did on my second play through 5 years after release. started in Skellige then to Novigrad and then Velen... The order Ciri visited the places... Nice, that you made a video about it! Great work mate!
My man with qualtiy witcher content
Got this thing in my third playtrough. I was amazed about the attention to detail.
Game comes out nearly 5 years ago and still people discover things about it.
So much commitment with Yennefer. Deserves a like!
thanks ;]
xletails in future: what if you find ciri before finding yennefer in the white orchad ?
I just found yesterday that in the quest "The Fall of House Reardon" if you finish up with Letho and return to the manor after having told the lady owner it's clean, you can return there and have a short dialogue with her. I'm unsure whether the dialogue is different depending on the time you initiate it: before discovering and taking the treasure or after.
I did this accidentally, was surprised when I found out this isn't the usual thing.
I love this game.
makes the two of us
*three
I love the books, so the game was just amazing for me. It also has many references to Polish culture
Love the fact that I've beaten the game 5 times now and each time I go back I find something new.
same here ;]
She says something like : "So the call of the wild finally got over you, witcher... Meet me at Larvik, then." and she's not happy about it !
I got that same dialogue by finding Morkvarg first, but then meeting Yen at the beach and then going off to kill him.
Oh my god. In my first (and only at this time) playtrough i did this and barely even notice. CDPR are in every detail of this game
The Witcher 3 is what you get when the developers actually have passion for what they make
And when you don't have a major publisher like EA dictating release dates and terms. Freedom to experiment and take your time to perfect games is a rare thing for modern AAA developers.
StormWolf completely agree. Just started playing the witcher and I cant play anything else, i only want to play the witcher lmao.
You were right about following Yen to Larvik and then leaving. I got that dialogue when I did the same thing but didn't return to Larvik for several days.
3:37 meanwhile those are the lines I got on my playthrough 😂
I played this game more than 600 hrs and still there is something didn't knew or haven't seen. Good job mate. Love this game.
so do i :)
@@xLetalis But u TeamTriss😱NOOOOOO
😂😜
im still remember when im going that garden fight the wolf and dont know what to do hahaha.
Then what if one simply skipped searching for ciri in velen and novigrad and went straight to skillege ? I wonder what will yen say
Super late, but if you're still searching I would suggest Fallout 1&2
You said rare, but somehow I got the interaction in my first playthrough for the Skjall and Yennefer.
Team Yennefer!
There is no other team
Seriously?..
@@yuriydemkin3970 More than seriously
@@Johanna-vr2qx but there are, several other teams in fact, with one being as big as Yen's.
Guess you don't play the games much lol
Team Yennefer all the way ❤️
I always got this. As soon as I get the quest to use the mask, I do all the sidequests in Skellige, which includes the priests wanting me to kill morkvarg.
I did this the last time I did my playthrough because I wanted Geralt to be with Yennefer as soon as possible xd
Great Video! I Love watching your Videos and Learning more about the Witcher :D I might even read the books
thanks
Ahhhh,my friend. If Yennefer's name is in the title,I'll click it no matter what. We'll marry this summer and I want you to be my witness when I accept Yen to be my bride. It'd be an honor for me.
I did this in my last playthrough. Great attention to detail.
This game is tradition for me every year new NG for me...
Seeing this level of detail just makes me more sad about Cyberpunk 2077. I don't know if they can afford to patch and finish everything but I hope it's in a good place soon
I don't want witcher 4 I want another DLC I also don't want extra graphics same as it was in blood and wine
Kapilthev Kenway they said they don’t make another Witcher game
@@TheWinklerDude Didn't they say that a spinoff isn't out of the question?
Cipher idk
(05:30) Yennefer has a snippy line when Geralt wonders off between your first meeting of Birna and going to the hall for Bran's wake (I got it when going to the Blacksmith and Armourer)
Maybe this is the line you're thinking of if you stray too far from Yennefer (Also fall a subtask in The King Is Dead quest)
(You've probably addressed this in another video or someone has beat me to it)
who dares to leave yen and that sexy unicorn and go with triss? exactly no one!.....unless if you are ginger then you get a pass
Although they hadn't promised the graphics we were gonna get, this did show us how much effort CD Projekt Red had put into the story line, with that... imagine countless of other dialogues never seen before.
I didn't even know there was a place you could go to talk to Donar.
that's why I put it in the video ;]
You can talk to him anyway with slightly different dialog.
@@overlord580 Where can i find him?
@@Fanthomas1742 Find his house on Hindarsfjall.
Yeah there was a scene when yen says something like u said when u desert and then stick to her
