    No offence to Noah's 10.01 (1.7), but that meet was all about Jacious Sears 10.77 (1.6) WL / #2 all-time NCAA 100m / #7 US all-time / #15 all-time & Freshman Kaylyn Brown 49.95 #7 all-time NCAA 400m / #29 US all-time! And s/o '19 World Champ Yaime Pérez 🇨🇺 who threw 73.09m (#9 all-time, real WR?!) at a meet in Oklahoma, the longest throw in the Women’s Discus since 1989!

*He cannot PEAK for 6-7 months straight* as is the case with any sport in which you max out your CNS* Unfortunately, Jacious Sears will learn this the hard way as Trayvon Bromell has shown over the years…..you shouldn’t be running this fast in mid April unless you have .2-.3 more to your peak.
I remember watching the 1984 Olympic 100m Dash Final where the silver medalist ran 10.19 with a slight tailwind.

A little bit disappointing considering of how hyped up his improved start was. Dude was in the back with Fanbulleh, another dude who's known for having terrible starts. I have no doubt he'll improve as the season goes on tho.
Also, shoutout to Sears. 10.77 wind-legal is elite speed. That time would've tied her with Shelly-Ann for bronze at the World Championships last year
