I have the hardest time picking colors for my eyeshadow. I have all these pretty colors and i dont know what colors to put with what. Do u put the colors on according to your warddrobe. Please help new to wearing makeup. I do know the basics on where the colors should go

Hi Kyra I have hooded eyes so sometimes if I don’t bring the eyeshadow up high enough you don’t see the shadow so can you do a look for hooded eyes that’s always a problem where to place the shadows thank you
I use the Makeupforwever lid and lip Primer but I can literally see the shadow wearing away after 10 minutes or while I'm applying it's going on patchy or won't stick. I also have wrinkles & deep folds in my lids, deep set eyes, and oil lids. I've tried setting with a matte shadow first after the Primer and the brush still seems to catch on the skin. I've tried small circular motions instead of the windshield wiper motions, which helps a little. I'm not sure if I need another Primer (I've also tried NYX HD Waterproof Primer) or if I need to set with an actual translucent Powder instead of a matte shadow.
Sigh -- girl, thank you!!! I have an event next month and I'm doing my own makeup... but what color(s) would you pair with a wine colored gown? It would be nice to see you do looks that look great with different colored outfits? If that's even a thing?
No worries. You have hooded eyes. Check out Alissa Ashley channel. She has hooded eyes and does several looks including a do’s and don’ts for hooded eyes. Hope this helps. 😉

peets96 make sure your lid is moisturized before you prime that’ll help a lot . Also setting with a powder will help too

No but why do all these UA-camrs have soooo much eyelid space... my eyebrows fall soo low that I have barely any space to work with
