Darcy is such a pure, sweet young lady. She’s so polite and respectful. “I’m still laughing about those big knickers”... there was just something in the way she said it and danced off, reminded me of a scene in a period drama. What a lovely young girl.

I personally enjoy the waffling, it’s a source of comfort. There is a soothing element of normalcy when someone is just talking to the camera about whatever comes to mind.
Well, my heart has just melted!!! I'm watching with my little girl who's 2. We lost our little girl last August she was stillborn. My 2 year old Felicity always talks about her sister. When you mentioned about your Mum, Felicity asked "wheres Louise's Mummy? I said she is in the sky. Her reaction "Tell Louise it's ok because Baby Hope is looking after her and keeping her safe!!!
My heart has gone all mushy!! And I cried. Sorry for oversharing but I couldn't not comment!! Xx

Really love seeing someone with a big audience who promotes/loves going to charity shops/buying second hand! I've recently been learning so much about fast fashion and it's impact, and over the last year or so have really been trying to buy second hand and encourage people to do the same, so thank you for doing that too!
I’m only 19 so we don’t have that much in common (except we both seem to love anything pink and Christmas related) but I find it so helpful watching u because I can see that life can get better and I really hope that I’m blessed (at some point) with daughters as kind, smart, thoughtful and individual as yours 💗

I have a question for the Q&A. I am a relatively new teacher (going into my 7th year) and one of my biggest fears is that I will miss the signs of a child who is being abused and therefore won't be able to help them. I was wondering if there are clues that may not always be obvious. And also did your teachers help you.

Have you spoken with your children about your childhood? Would you feel comfortable with them maybe reading the book later down the line when they're a bit older?

A question for next weeks video: considering you went through such horrible things as a kid, how did you manage to function as an adult? Do you think it made a difference that you had a loving mum before the abuse, so that you knew what love should feel like? I was emotionally abused by my mum up until I was 25 and struggle big time with mental health and my daily life. I didn’t know it was abuse until I was an adult, just thought I was the problem. Louise, I love that no matter where you are filming, either in the idyllic Cotswolds or your “soft office”, you are you. The hilarious commentary, the tanning blunder (I’ve never had success btw, no judging!) and the really of mom life is just so true to you. I just had a moment of feeling so warm and fuzzy when hearing you say “these are the sort of shorts that would look beautiful with tights underneath” it’s such a mum sentence and I could hear my own mum saying those exact words to me even though we are a long way apart at the moment and I just loved it so much and almost welled up!!! This video was such a cosy vlog. It was so lovely to watch you looks so happy, and it was perfect to help me relax after a very long, hard day.

Since the ease of lockdown restrictions, I have been feeling quite anxious and it’s effected me a lot, I want to go out and see friends but I often feel uneasy at the thought of going out sometimes makes me nauseous, and as someone who mildly has emetophibia it just makes me more anxious. But your videos have been a breath of fresh air and this looks like a lovely place to visit! I trust you all had a lovely time 😊

Such a beautiful vlog ❤️ Our son and daughter were working in Broadway for over a year recently and I absolutely loved when they FaceTimed us and took us for a walk around the village it’s so beautiful and so different from Australia.

Glad you spoke about the book. When I saw the title previously, I thought it was a sort of guide book to motherhood. I didn't realise it was so much more. As someone who never had children, I would just have overlooked it on the shelf.

Would definitely recommend the Lake District, visiting Keswick, and Grasmere to see Beatrix potter house where she wrote peter rabbit, the gardens, and old tradition local shops. Then finish the day with stopping to get Grasmere’s gingerbread.
This is the first year we haven’t been to the Cotswolds for about 10 years it was so nice seeing some of the places we usually visit, I love it there it’s so pretty and calm!
Also my little girl loved watching pearl and Darcy playing in the water and now wants to go look for treasure in charity shops
Question for the video: advice for healing from the trauma? And also, have you forgiven your Step Mum? And members of your family who didn’t protect you at the time?
