Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (also called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about beauty & fashion, positive living, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 9 and Pearl, 2).

And I don't know if this is helpful, but I barely notice the difference between unedited and edited Louise. Any mistakes you may worry about just aren't getting noticed by 99% of your viewers, and even if we all noticed, we all know that you're human and it's perfectly fine to make little mistakes while talking naturally 💕
I haven't been inside a store since March and I can't describe how much it satisfied me to watch you shopping. So unexpected. What odd times we're living through.

I came home all lonely and sad, (since my mum died), and there you were with your beautiful face full of tales of Christmas and your two little angels and shopping for cute things all of which I wanted too.

Yes finally! Saving it to watch laters honestly missed your UA-cam content. I always find it so soothing and wholesome, it makes me sad to know that you feel the pressure of judgement from the online community, the bits I love best are the most real and "normal" ones like messy kitchens. They make you (and the content) relatable and, therefore, more interesting to me and others like me! Please keep em comin'!

Dear Louise, please don't ever worry about chatting too much! I love love love your chats, they make me feel so calm. I've been watching your videos since 2011 when I moved to the UK to start Sixth Form. Whilst so much has changed in my life since then (and yours too of course), I still feel like I'm listening to an old friend when I'm watching your videos. Earlier in the video, you were saying you were just going to talk and not worry about editing yourself, and I'm so glad because I could listen to you talk all day. You could have a podcast where you talk about absolutely nothing, and I'd listen to it all day. You've got the most calming voice and it's such a treat to listen to you talk about how you're doing and what you're doing on the usual day-to-day. It's been such a balm against the harshness and craziness of this year. Thank you, Louise.

Aww that made me feel sad about Darcy ‘being in on the Christmas situation’. I’m well into my 20s now but I definitely believed for longer than Darcy. Hope she still feels some of the magic!
I've never understood this "magic " thing. Christmas time is a lovely cozy family time regardless.

My 8 year old still believes and I'm not telling him otherwise. I'll keep the magic on as long as I can.

I transitioned to appreciating the magic of giving - the joy of thinking about my loved ones, what they’d like, and having them open the presents and enjoying that! I think it’s better than getting gifts!!
I'm catching up on over a years worth of videos as I'm currently going through a very hard relationship hurdle. After seeing the last few, this video is so incredibly heartwarming and soothing to listen to and watch. I can't wait to continue my binge catch up, but this is amazing to see you say screw anxiety, I wanna do it. And seeing you get through these intense worries and remaining so brave is inspiring. I'm glad you opened up. Idk what it is but some of the the topics you've mentioned and things you've felt and been through in your life, but I've been able to relate to a lot of it and take some hidden pieces of advice. I'm a really anxious mum and I find your videos calm me alot because I can relate so much and last videos felt like a heart to heart I welled up a bit, im glad your are taking time and not putting pressure on yourself too just make content for the sake of content.... stay true to yourself xx

I feel the same regarding my faith in Christianity, I have learnt that you don't need to believe in all of it. Like with everything in life (work/friendships/partners) some things work for you and others things don't sit right with you. For me it is about trying to work out what part of it brings you happiness and which parts you might either need further guidance on or that you can openly say i don't agree. I always believe that you do your best in life and God will handle the rest. :)
You need to believe that Jesus is the son of God and was sent to die on the cross so your sins can be forgiven.

I grew up going to church and like you I find it hard to get fully on board because there are some things I really disagree with, but the over all message that love is the most important thing really resonates with me and one that I try to cling to when faced with prejudices within the religion.
I watch you on UA-cam and Instagram when the algorithms don’t eat you.
As mom’s it feels like our worrying just never stops. Especially us mom’s who have been single parents before we naturally worry about the extremes since we feel the need to control.
I have already started testing baking for the holidays and listening to Christmas 🎄 carols while baking. So you showing me these shops and Liams slippers 🥿 are adorable.
The reason I watched today is my passion for IKEA I love my US one.

watching louise go “ooh, that’s nice” at everything in primark is so comforting for some reason.
Just speaking of seeing life differently etc about a month ago I was almost stabbed in a case of mistaken identity....and in those 10/15 seconds of her coming @ me I literally saw my life flash between my eyes & now I see things so so differently as I saw just how quickly everything could of just stopped. Truly believe that our outlook on life is EVERYTHING! On a more positive note, love these kinds vlogs!xxxx
When you spoke about the near death experience videos it immediately struck such a chord with me!! Those videos are so great for calming your worries, they all put life into perspective - who knew watching videos about death could leave you so fulfilled and positive! The shop that’s closed down was Outfit.. it had lots of little concessions store within it.. (topshop, Dorothy Perkins, etc) 😊
I don't know if this sounds odd but seeing you have a lovely chilled day and tell us how calm you feel made me feel calm. I think its just that with all of the stress of this current situation, its so nice to watch someone have a really nice day and feel vicariously happy! x

The part about Christianity/faith struck with me! You can absolutely choose what parts you interpret rather than follow rule by rule! One example would be wearing mixed threads!!! God is around us, I don’t have a religion in particular but I believe in the afterlife and that something draws us all to do what we do! ❤️❤️

Paused this at the point you said “you can’t pick and choose bits in a religion” to tell you that you absolutely can. Your beliefs are personal, you can choose. Also I’m pretty sure that’s how most religions were formed - Christianity was basically Judaism plus Jesus and minus some rules about what you can and can’t eat (very reductionist explanation, sorry). Point is: you values, your beliefs, your choice. Lots of love 💕
I paraphrase but I think the last words of Siddhartha/ the Buddha was "take what resonates with you and leave the rest" - literally encouraging a pick and mix approach to his wisdom
