My 2013 Camaro LT is doing exactly this right now! I've got it torn apart where I replaced the mechanical fuel pump (they're prone to going out), the PCV valve (comes out of the crankshaft on the driver's side), replaced the high pressure line from the mechanical pump to the rails, and cleaned the injectors. I just put on an AC Delco MAF sensor the day it died on me and would stay running, but it didn't fix it. We cleared the codes, and they all popped up again. (I learned it's actually a multipurpose sensor and does more than just the MAF.) Putting it all back together as I speak/type, and hopefully it'll stay running when I hit the gas! 🙏
Pushing the traction control once turns off only traction control. Pushing twice puts it into competition mode and allows launch control and stability trac(it will not go sideways when taking off). You can also push and hold the button to completely turn off all driving assists.
Stabilitrack mode is the also the launch control mode in my 2012. There is some things that dont let you do what you want in that mode. The stability lamp is flashing and restrict if you try to do a real heavy slide for example. To get rid of all the restrictions you have to hold the button for quite a while. At least 5 seconds (feels like more)
Hey this is what I you do. Tap the stability button once and then twice and then tap and hold until you see both lights turn on. :) It’s a little secrete and then u can burn rubber all day it’s really cool when I found out.
I bought mine used at the dealer, on the way home the stabilitrac light came on. When I got home I called the salesman and had him ask the mechanic what he replaced and it was he maf sensor so I took it out and used compressed air to blow it out.But what I found was it was installed upside down and when I reinstalled it the stabilitrac light went off and it drove normally.
Thats the fun button. I went as far as to disable mine completely. Good drivers dont need traction control! Learn how your vehicle reacts in slipping situations and you will learn how to properly react to it with confidence. These are great cars to install line locks on as well.
Compition mode is made for track or drag race....in drag race mode your can floor it and it will let you spin the tires but not smoke em right off...allowing you traction...yeah
One push turns stailitrak off completely pushing twice put stailitrak is a like 50/50 state where you'll have some free spin on the tire but it won't break loose for ya. So burnout one push. Two push for like taking off at a drag strip
I got the same in car but in automatic and it turns off when idled and jerks back whenever I’m driving you think it could be the same problem? It does it every now and then not all the time and no check engine light
@@seidyrios5685 …I was thinking maybe it’s that as well. I just bought the car it has 63k , fully loaded and is super clean… I absolutely love my car! But it does have the shudder at low speeds. I thought the trans was going. But after reading I see it could be a few different things… guess I have to go down the “Camaro shudder” rabbit hole that so many other owners have gone to find the solution… thanks for your feedback Brother! 💪🏾💯
I have a v6 2010 it hesitates after trying to push it to hard then it’ll start shaking really bad until I turn it off and back on and it work fine just can’t go to hard on the pedal as I drive ( check engine light: misfires, and 02 sensor but I changed all of that over and over) what could it be?
Fuel injectors, injectors wiring harness, spark plugs and wires, coil packs, check all of em’! On my 14 Ss it was my injectors failing. It was doing the Same as yours. Fine one min! Tripping the next. And it’ll keep getting worst.
You didn’t turn it off it’s only simi off push the traction control button hold it until both lights go off and no competition mode comes on and you have totally turned off traction and stability control and are in full race mode
It means all your stability is turned off - when u push those buttons - you can fish out and do tricks / lol best to keep it on … I have a 2012 SS - it had some minor surge during the idle - changed the MAF sensor
I own a 2011 Camaro SS I purchased it in California for $19,000 still runs like a champ

And if you push and hold... if you power launch all hell will break loose. LOL

I got my hands on an 11-year old 2011 SS RS vert with only 36K miles on it and I LOVE this car. Best damn cheap sports car I ever had.
How much

I bought my SS new in 2011 for 26 grand. Was a Black Friday deal. Great car and I still drive it silly 🙃

is that trick for a manual transmission or an automatic ?

Wow same for me, I have a 2012 Camaro RS .....did it work???

Yea I did maf sensor, crankshaft sensor, all 8 spark plugs, all 8 ignition coil packs & my SS still drives like 💩.
Did you replace with all GM Sensors?
Could be uhhh vent valve
Which is a bitch to replace
@@nicholasburton955 it was my fuel injectors 🤦🏾♀️.
@@great4ever845 fuel injectors. Once I replaced those the car was back to normal.
Do you have the part number?
Run first gear up to about 4k rpm and floor it while shifting to 2nd gear. Lol hold on. While in comp. Mode
I made that mistake on my duramax by putting a cheap ebay maf on....I shortly after paid up and put in a delco unit.....problem solved
hopefully i fix mine i have a cheap throttle body on maybe thats why it hesitates when i give it gas
@@christophergarciayanez74u ever change that throttle body? If so did it help?

Sorry hold it til both lights come on
That's a race mode.
Mine starts hesitating after it warms up and it does everything your car did idk what it could be tbh could it be the mass air flow also ?
