hello, good video from argentina messi, hehehe, interesting question I ask, the normal esscence can be applied after a correction in two steps with menzerna 400, 2400, 3800, and seal with a ceramic gtechniq, exo v4, c1, serum light ? or just a ceramic brand of carpro ? Thank you

And your channel is one of the best for just this purpose. I love the feel in your vids. The editing is outstanding.
Great video mate........yet again. This was a really good comparison as I was very curious as to how Car Pro Essence compared to these others. Yes, Essence is the best at that final finish, especially with a soft jeweling pad I have used. Actually, after my water spot problems I had on my EVO coating thanks to that terrible dust storm in Jan, I used a couple little drops of Essence to bring back the coating and rid the water spots. The car looks beyond amazing now. So for me, Essence is a brilliant finish polish, SIO2 Primer and as I found, gets rid of water spots caused in extreme cases. But I would not go past NV Morph either after seeing this. You really put some effort into these presentations. And your on the money with your assessments.
Excellent demonstration yet again Sandro. To be honest I love essence but not as a "polish" perse, I'll leave the polishing of defective clearcoat to Meg's D300 or 205 and then finish off with essence, thats when essence glows in gloss levels. Brilliant stuff.
Great content. I REALLY like the 2k video, the slow mo, and also the pauses showing 50/50 between 2 test sections. One of my favorite detail channels that I take serious. Will you do a test between the angel wax arts color dyed line black vs the new turtle wax black acrylic wax. Curious about filling between both and durability.
So, for an all in one, I’d go with the AW as it’s gonna get more of the defects out and still finish quite well. I also like how AW is not a copy cat but does their own thing. The hydrophobics of NV were great and it was good at everything although not the best at anything. Essence has that finishing ability but if it can’t get a good majority of defects out I am not interested. Good video, I enjoyed it!
Fantastic test! The one question I always ask myself with these AIO is if they REALLY do finish well or if it is "just" the fillers / SiO2 components / primers in them that mask light scratches.
Car Craft Auto Detailing very interesting and exactly what I thought. Here over in Europe, Essence has become extremely popular for this reason as a lot of professionals tend to use it as a „secret weapon“ on very finicky, soft and dark paint on which a simple IPA wipedown alread induces scratches. Why such a thing suddenly is acceptable again and what the difference between this and „cheater“ polishes / glazes with fillers is, I simply don‘t understand. However, the biggest question mark, for me at least, is if Essence and other SiO2 primer polishes really do help ceramic coatings to bond better to paint or if they actually decrease coatings‘ abilities to bond to the paint, as - again - a lot of detailers use Essence as a primer for coatings, even non-CarPro ones which I personally don‘t understand as it has not yet been conclusively tested whether Essence helps or not. And why would you accept the risk of a coating not properly bonding to the paint when you put all the effort in of applying it? Maybe, we (German car care UA-cam channel called XaronFR, we just started with English videos) have to do a test and video on that, but it would be extremely interesting to hear your opinion on this, as well!
Would you be willing to do a video testing the carpro essence with cq uk 3.0 and cq uk 3.0 by itself? I’m curious if the essence actually makes a noticeable difference when coating a vehicle.
Great comparison as always, Sandro! Quick question are Carpro Essence. If you were going to top it with a sealant of some kind and were a bit pressed for time and couldn't let it cure overnight, what's the bare minimum you'd feel comfortable giving it before putting on the topper without compromising the protection Essence offers? Thanks!
Thanks mate and 3-4hrs would be my minimum cure time before topping Essence. If you’ve got some good weather outside, pull the car into direct sunlight for an hour or two and that will hugely accelerate Essence in curing faster.
Love the music and topics. You do an outstanding job at staying a pro! As far as AOIs go, my favorite is Xtreme LVR 403 as a great all around primer/correction/filler w/amazing gloss. Not sure how it would hold up as a standalone. But it’s a very flexible foundation for waxes & sealants.
Hey really great video mate! I've used all three products and your findings are pretty spot on. But Angelwax have just released their own Ceramic Coatings Genesis/Legacy which are supposed to be good! And congrats on the 100k a bit early but you'll smash past it in no time!
Hello, does the carpro esscence expire or does the container have an expiration date once opened? How long does it last since I see that it has a label attached with the date of manufacture and nowhere do they explain that, thank you very much, excellent videos. Greetings.
Hey mate, can you make a comparison from Cquartz applied over Essence and Cquartz by itself? Or gyeon prime and a coating. To see if a primer polish does anything actually. Cheers
I imagine it does. Since you are polishing the paint to near perfection. Then protecting it with a coating . Essence is formulated so you don’t need a iso wipedown
So with Essence. After you finish with this prior to a ceramic coating, are you still doing a panel wipe with a panel spray or is the finish good to go after wiping up after the polish stage ?
Just allow Essence a few hours to cure and you’re good to go. If you’re not coating that same day you can do an IPA wipe 12-24hrs after applying Essence as it be be cured enough at that stage to resist it and not be compromised by it.
Love your videos. Can I throw a wax right on top of essence without surface prep since I do not do coatings? Also, waiting for your in-depth review of Megs 210 against other finishing polishes😀. Are menzerna 3500 and 3800 still viable option for a paint enhancement? I am on the fence whether I want to use an AIO or finishing polish and then wax.
Thanks and yes you can directly top Essence with a wax - just be sure to give Essence a few hours to cure before you top it. I finally have M210 and M110 so I do intend of reviewing them once I have time. I would say generally, given the time it is advantageous to separately polish and wax compared to using an AIO but there’s also great advantages to using AIOs.
I've used the legacy coating. Super easy to use ads a nice gloss and slickness. Did 2 layers and inside of the doors on a 30ml bottle. Ive used carpro cquartz uk before this, but from now its enigma legacy all the time
@@Droors Did my car with enigma legacy a few weeks ago. Very satisfied with the result. I was not sure whether to legacy or carpro. Do you think the legacy is a better coating than carpro ?
@@geirnaert well the feel I have is that the Carpro uk 3.0 is better in the longrun since it needs to flash, have a longer cure time than the legacy. Thats the feel I have. The COUK 3.0 demands a bit more from the user, you need to pay attention not to get hot spots and such.
@@Droors Thanks for the reply. i noticed that the legacy very easy to apply. could take up to 3-4 minutes to rub off. Have now ordered the legacy wheel coating.
Fantastic video Sandro! I have a Grey Tesla Model 3 that has some light swirls in certain areas. Do you have any recommendations for a one step to spot treat to get the swirls out without removing too much clear? I was thinking Griots Perfecting Creme and yellow perfecting pad but not sure. Thank you!!
Thanks, I’m not too familiar with Griots as they aren’t sold here locally, but in truth a decent fine polish and foam polishing pad from serval reputable brands should work relatively well. I regularly use Nv Finesse, Shine Supply Classic polish and Scholl 30+, and also the Lake Country Orange HDO and Shine Mate orange foam pads.
Water behaviour test, red panel on the floor setting. Is it fair? Essence sat in the middle effectively has the other two pushing water to the middle 🤔
Nice test as ever! I often use essence, it's one of my favourite finishing polishes, it is based on reflect, that's very nice product for finishing not cutting, after 12 or better 24 hours it boosts more gloss. You have to pay attention to the amount on the pad or it can cause high spots like coatings. I never tried enigma but I guess it is based on regenerate, so it's a medium polish, but for one step I like to use regenerate. Angelwax has recently released some coatings
I think Uno cuts a bit more but I’d say finishing abilities would be close, but obviously Essence is also a primer polish so you can use it prior to a ceramic coating whereas you can’t do that with Uno.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing very interesting. The priming feature is pretty unique and seems very useful for a finishing polish. Kind of makes you think ALL finishing polishes should have a primer in them to remove the need for a panel wipe. Thanks Sandro
Well first thank you for your shared knowledge and all the hassle you go through just for comparing a few products. On a second note, I was wondering something for this particular example. All this AIOs have cut and polish ingredients, and cut ingredients deminish over time when you polish. Taking this into consideration, do you think having different work times with different products might yield different results? Since they are not the same manufacturer you could assume the ingredients in them might dissolve at different rate? So for example if you would work with Angelwax AIO a minute more or maybe less, do you think it would make a difference? Just a food for thought :)
Nice video 👍 I have looked at the enigma a few times as to how we could add it in our packages, however for me the price kills it. Enigma is regenerate with added protection which also fills. Again our opinion is a one step correction with S20 black for example is a much better option then just wax the car after, we use angelwax halo which lasts about 6 months if looked after properly, this option also works out a lot cheaper, higher correction rate and longer protection.
Car Craft Auto Detailing I know you use a lot of the Scholls range, I have seen one or two of your videos 😂 how did you find the cut of these compared to S20?
Watching this video I decided to use carpro essence as my finishing polish. But can I use ceramic coating after Carpro essence without IPA application or can IPA remove the fillers from the carpro essence? Thank you so much.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you so much. How about for the 3d speed, can I apply ceramic coating after? What IPA remove the fillers from 3d hd speed? Thank you again.

Hi Sandro, once again great video. I am doing some research and would like to have covered most the finish polishers and cutting compound in my inventory. I have purchased Carpro Essence and am thinking of purchasing Carpro Clearcut, Scholl Concepts Compound Kit and NV Precision. Would you suggest i purchase NV morph or can you advise what I should have in my polishing / cutting inventory as a beginner DIY detailer. Thanks Sandro
Thanks, and I think a lot of the compounds you mentioned would be a great choice, I’d definitely recommend Scholl S20, Nv Precision and Finesse, ClearCut is also great - but CarPro also have a new compound ultra cut compound coming out that seems really great as well.

Bravo bravo 👏 , I really enjoyed watching this vid very well put together Sandro 👍🏻😄. You have any update on how the Mazda 6 is getting on with the half and half comparison?
Nice comparison! Ive only tried turtle wax's version which I find to be pretty decent. Just a quick question: Im planning to ceramic coat my car with Cquartz UK. Im planning to use nova lustre as a topper every 3-4 months. Would there be any bonding issues between lustre and Cquartz UK? Cheers mate and congratz on reaching almost 100k subs :)
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Why does Lustre claim a 2 hour cure time when all other SIO2 sprays require 24 hrs? What is different about the formulation? Thanks.
Hi Sandro would you start with Precision on yellow rupes pad to cut soft paint and then essence on white rupes pad to finish using a 12mm shine mate polisher?
Sandro, what grit would you use to remove orange peel on paint ,so that the clear is perfectly flat and have you seen the new meguiars ceramic detailer as well. Maybe you can do a test against similar products as spray on SIO2 detaliers etc. Also keep up the great work champ your the best. 🏎👌✌👍😊
7071t6 1500 then 3000 if you want complete removal, though I wouldn’t recommend it especially if it’s a daily driver, 3000 grit if you just want to blend the orange peel. Cut with a heavy compound like Koch H9 and a wool pad will be quickest, then finish out. This is not a process I recommend if your not an experienced detailer.
Hey bro, I've been researching AIO products. I've never offered them because I felt the protection didnt last long enough and if I add protection after then I may as well just do a 1 step with protection after. But I'm considering trying one out. What do you feel like is the all around best AIO product that has decent protection? The Rupes UNO looked pretty good on the other test but not sure how is compares to these.
I’m not sure there is single best AIO, but Uno is very forgiving in most environments and does have a great cut/fill to finish ability, though compared to these primer AIOs you can’t place a coating over it and even waxes and sealants won’t tend to last quite as long compared to applying them over a primer, so there are pros and cons. If longer lasting protection is most important I’d tend to go with a primer, and Morph has great balance in cut and finish, Essence is better for just finishing and Enigma may be best on harder and less sensitive paints. But all primer AIOs in my experience aren’t quite as user friendly as standard AIOs, so that’s another consideration to weigh up.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I was looking at Morphe but NV is not currently selling it because they can not get some of its ingredients. I was looking at Angelwax but I think I would like something that makes for a good primer like you were saying. Most cars that people want this bare minimum work are older cars that have trashed paint, so having good correction where it can cut oxidation and such is important. Maybe Rupes Uno would be the best bet since it makes for a good primer as well.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing wanted to ask what combo you would use on a Starlight black ISF with light holograms I own a shine mate 12mm polisher just with soft paint and pad polish choices?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing IV got finesse and precision and the menzerna polishes but only rupes yellow and white pads plus the shine mate red and green pads will they work ? Oh also I have car pro reflect
If yo would have slowed down the rpm and move the arm faster with aio enigma you could have had a better finish then that :) And you could lay the angelwax ceramic over but they recommend to apply angelwax stripp ease before that.
You used way to much product when you demonstrated Enigma AIO, less priduct gives better cutting, better finish, less playtime and much easier residue removal. Been using it before it came out and is often the to-go product for most of the 2 step jobs. It has quite a cut too, cutting 1500grit hand sanding marks together with a wool pad is not even a problem and it leaves a true finish without masking swirl marks or scratches.
I found it to have a really long work time and the cut depends on which pad you use...I first tried a carpro polishing pad and got good results but I got great results using an orange chemical guys pad. so ye I'd love to see what you think of it....looking forward to your review...it's actually 3d hybrid one....the green bottle...actually they have a new product out called 3d fast I think it's called....anyway...stay safe ....oh and Sandro........wash your hands ;-) cya from Ireland.

Thank you, much appreciated!
So can you put ceramic spray after using one of these products?
Yes
Just for curiosity's sake, what do you think would happen if you mixed an equal amount of Morph and Essence?
What ended up happening to MORPH?
Not entirely sure, but I think it was some sort of manufacturing and supply issue
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing cheers for the response!
But Sandro's taste in music is just 👌🏾
Water behaviour test, red panel on the floor setting. Is it fair?
Essence sat in the middle effectively has the other two pushing water to the middle 🤔
Do you use a pad conditioner? If so, what is it?
I agree with Angelwax AIO its very sticky specially on soft sticky paint its a pain in the ass every time i use it😤
Angelwax compounds are all piss poor tbh . Overrated garbage
Love your videos!
does it have fillers/glaze?
Nice test as ever! I often use essence, it's one of my favourite finishing polishes, it is based on reflect, that's very nice product for finishing not cutting, after 12 or better 24 hours it boosts more gloss. You have to pay attention to the amount on the pad or it can cause high spots like coatings. I never tried enigma but I guess it is based on regenerate, so it's a medium polish, but for one step I like to use regenerate. Angelwax has recently released some coatings
After using the essence, should I wait awhile to apply uk 3.0?
Thank you
100 000 subs congrats :D
Sandro, how do you feel Essence compares with Rupes Uno? Uno seemed to perform better in your testing
If one does not have a machine polisher is it possible to hand polish using car pro essence?
Yes it is possible and it would probably be the best one to use by hand.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank u very much! always love watching your channel honest unbiased reviews!
Hey how is everything ? I have a debt, after applying essence I have to use eraser to apply uk 3.0 hi sic ?? thanks.
No you don’t, just give Essence a few hour to cure and then you can coat straight over it without using Eraser first.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks
Damn, all the NV products you showed are sold out :(
Nice video 👍 I have looked at the enigma a few times as to how we could add it in our packages, however for me the price kills it.
Angelwax range is one of cheapest brand polished in U.K and it’s actually cheaper than retail products
I believe AngelWax just came out with a ceramic coating, not sure if you have to be a certified to buy it.
Anglewax Legacy is available to all
Anglewax Genesis is certified.
@@DjBann Genesis is also a graphene coating or at least has traces of graphene.
Sandro I’m planning on doing for the first time morph on my wife’s vehicle , can I top it with Lustre and then Jet ? Thanks
Car Craft Auto Detailing just saw your video that covers Lustre , Jet and Boost , I have the three of them . Jet is sufficient after morph no need to do Morph, Lustre finalize with Jet ? And thanks a bunch for taking the time to reply to my question. Greatly appreciated
Thanks, and I think a lot of the compounds you mentioned would be a great choice, I’d definitely recommend Scholl S20, Nv Precision and Finesse, ClearCut is also great - but CarPro also have a new compound ultra cut compound coming out that seems really great as well.
thnkuu sir plzz one more qstion ki shinemate epk 803 ki acessiores like small becking plate and extension shaft is also added to my ol d eastman rotatory polisher otherwise i must compulosry to buy epk 803 rotatory polisher plzz tell me sir
Hey Sandro! I hope all is well with you and your family! Thanks for the new content...much appreciated. The NV products would be great to work with. I’m so bummed there isn’t a local distribution company/business here in the US. But hey, life could be worse. 😁 Good day mate!
Car Craft Auto Detailing Really! If you could help me out with who that may be it would be much appreciated. I searched and came up empty!
Car Craft Auto Detailing Thanks! I just ordered the Nova Glass & Wheel coatings. I’m stoked 😁
@@chadrandolph9874 So you are the reason it is sold out. Thanks a lot! LOL. I just ordered Lustre from them and will do a comparison with TW ceramic spray coating.
Bravo bravo 👏 , I really enjoyed watching this vid very well put together Sandro 👍🏻😄. You have any update on how the Mazda 6 is getting on with the half and half comparison?
Bloody hell lol I am well behind times 😂
Nice comparison! Ive only tried turtle wax's version which I find to be pretty decent.
Just a quick question: Im planning to ceramic coat my car with Cquartz UK. Im planning to use nova lustre as a topper every 3-4 months. Would there be any bonding issues between lustre and Cquartz UK?
Cheers mate and congratz on reaching almost 100k subs :)
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you for your reply. Enjoy the rest of your weekend !
Or if you have done a Lexus Starlight black paint and can tell me the combo of pads and polishes you used and I'll buy them please.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing what's worked for you on Lexus soft black paint with minor swirls and holograms?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks Sandro
Love it great vid as usual :) do you got the Koch Chemie brand over there? Very popular in Germany and Norway.
Good brand :) expecially for polishes , top notch.
sir really thnku for giving us so knowledge i want to ask one qstion sir in second stage and third stage means after cutting of restoration of paint which polisher is best either roataory or da means plzzz tell me sir

How much polish(ml) is needed for a car?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing What pad do you recommend for Rupes Uno Protect paste?
I've recently used essence and morph both blew me away. Never really wanted to try enigma. I going to coat my black mustang soon with evo and was going to use morph as the primer. Its already in good shape without a lot of defects. Can I just use a yellow or white rupes pad to lower the cutting?
Yes. The softer pad will lessen the cut ability of the AIO.

Death Note vibes lol
If yo would have slowed down the rpm and move the arm faster with aio enigma you could have had a better finish then that :) And you could lay the angelwax ceramic over but they recommend to apply angelwax stripp ease before that.
You used way to much product when you demonstrated Enigma AIO, less priduct gives better cutting, better finish, less playtime and much easier residue removal. Been using it before it came out and is often the to-go product for most of the 2 step jobs.
It has quite a cut too, cutting 1500grit hand sanding marks together with a wool pad is not even a problem and it leaves a true finish without masking swirl marks or scratches.
hi Sandro. ..have been using 3d one....prity amazing stuff for use when your a beginner. ...check it out. cya
Great product for beginners and professionals, you can’t go wrong with it. Try the 3D purple pad or the Scholls purple pad, great for the German cars with harder paints 👍
