ALDI Finds FOUND ME! Weekly ALDI Grocery Haul

- Come into ALDI with me see what I bought for a week of groceries for my family of 5. I always use items from my pantry/freezer as well. I share my dinner meal plan at the end.
Also, I do NOT buy my groceries exclusively at ALDI, but they're the first place I try and my favorite to shop at.

Cornflake Potatoes (learned from my MIL):
Ingredients:
5 large russet potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 stick of butter (8 tbsp)
4 cups cornflakes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Paprika (1 tbsp +/-)
Seasoned Salt (1 tsp +/-)
Chili Powder (1 tsp +/-)
Garlic Powder (1 tsp +/-)
Onion Powder (1 tsp +/-)
Preheat Oven to 350. Melt 4tbsp butter. Once melted, evenly speard butter on pan and place potato spears on pan. Cover with 2 more tbsp butter. Bake 20-30 minutes. Flip potatoes, cover with 2 more tbsp butter. Spread with mixture (cornflakes, shredded cheddar and seasonings). Bake additional 20-30 minutes. We error on the side to 30 minutes to ensure potatoes are well cooked. Remove and serve!

I am a weekly Aldi shopper and get most of my groceries there. I am a big Aldi fan. But, I do occasionally come across an item I don’t care for. It happens. For the most part, I like most.

Love cauliflower rice what I do is microwave it for 3-4 mins than drain it well squeeze out the water add butter or ghee salt and pepper chopped cilantro Orr parsley and some caramelized onion butter seasoning 🥰
The little potato company potatoes are really good!
Try cooking 2 days in a row, maybe Sunday and Monday night, then eat Sundays leftovers Tuesday and Mondays leftovers Wednesday… that way it’s a different meal each night but you’re still saving effort and cooking time and eating up the leftovers. My kids really don’t mind eating leftovers when I do it like this 😊
my general rule of thumb for crossover shoe sizing conversion is women go down 1 and 1/2 sizes to boys or mens (ex. women's 7 goes down to boys 5 1/5) unless only whole sizes are offered then you'd go down 1 or 2 sizes depending how close fitting you want the shoes to be because the whole sizes usually cover the half size up also.
Best pasties in town are at UP North Pasty and Sandwich Shop in Richland. I prefer the ground beef, but my husband and mom like the steak pasty. I believe they have a chicken and a veggie part as well. I grew up eating ketchup on them, but my husband likes gravy. Mom eats hers without ketchup or gravy. We get them frozen and bake them at home. 350 degree oven for an hour. Tastes almost as good as my grandmother’s recipe. She grew up in Ishpeming and learned to make them from her mother who came over from Sweden.

My store (in Iowa) had jars of Sweet Heat bread & butter pickle chips. Have a little kick but I think they are so good.

I keep my potatoes in a vented basket I got from Dollar Tree. The air circulating keeps them from rotting in a bag

I always plan on a leftover dinner meal but find it is more well received when I skip a night before bringing the same meal.
So behind the bridgerton berry creamer was their English toffee (blue bottle) and it is sooooo good!!

Your videos are so chill and relaxing, thanks for sharing. For body aches, if you're not allergic, you can mix some plain epsom salt in water, put it in a spray bottle and spray the area that's sore. 1 tablespoon per quart of water.

I love those chicken skewers!!!! They have been at my Aldi for a while now and I get them all the time. I'm starting to load up my freezer with them. So quick to prepare in the air fryer or my George Foreman Grill.

I saw on another channel that Aldi’s potato bags are the worst for the potatoes going bad. Whenever she buys the Aldi potatoes she stores them in a bowl at home and gets them out of the bag.

Don’t leave your potatoes in the bag. Stores them in a basket n a cool dry place and they should last longer.
We tried their gherkin-like German pickles and, surprisingly, did not care for them.
