I purchased the engine carrier, exhaust, and other parts from Van Cafe for my Vanagon DIY conversion. There's lot's of places to get parts for these vans, but I give my money to these guys because of the excellent service and high quality products. This looks like a really well thought out conversion for bay windows. This along with a reversed Subaru 5 speed would be killer. That's what I have in my Vanagon and it really makes it a much more usable vehicle.
That's awesome to hear, Dale! We love being able to keep vans running reliably and on the road for years and years to come! If you're ever in our neck of the woods swing on by! We'd love to see your van in person.
Did this exact conversion on my Bus Betty. An absolute game changer for sure and such a badass design. Cool seeing the faces who designed it
Wow! That's awesome! Swing by our headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado if you're ever in the area! We'd love to see it!

Nicely thought out and fabricated swap, bet people do a double take when they see a VW bus not struggling to do 50mph up a hill 😂
Haha! It's a head turner for sure!
Did you put a heater/defroster in? If not, its not legal in any state.
