- Long overdue cover of Warrior by ERRA. My favourite song off of the EP Moments Of Clarity. This song was quite hard to learn and it took me weeks, so I hope it sounds good. Tuning is in drop G#. Playing on my new Skervesen Swan.

To anyone who is interested, lately I've been going through some personal problems, and reoccurring problems with my hands. To the point where I don't find myself playing guitar at all. I haven't picked up the guitar for about 4 months now, and I wouldn't say I'm any closer to starting again. I keep trying to convince myself I want to play, but I just can't right now. I've had a problem with my hands since the Invent Animate cover I did in October 2014. This is the reason for the lack of videos. I'm still interested in continuing this channel, but maybe I'll try to do some vocal covers. I know no one has heard me scream, but suggesting a song you'd like to hear me do a vocal cover of wouldn't be entirely stupid. I always try to maintain a certain level of quality with my videos, so I wouldn't say I'll try a vocal cover, if I didn't think I could do it well. Cheers to everyone who has liked my guitar videos and left nice words, it means a lot to me.

I have been wanting to learn some Erra songs since getting REALLY into them a while ago. Was wondering if you could say which ones you thought were easier, to start with. Also, did you just learn some of Moments of Clarity on 6 string of are you sure they used 6s and 7s? I saw them live recently and it seemed like they only changed to 6 for older songs but I may be wrong.

Chance Kizzar I know for Moments Of Clarity they used 6 strings, maybe Sean used a 7 string. But I think now they have just changed to 7s because of the low tuning for some of the songs. Drop G# is a little too much for a 6 string in my opinion. The only ERRA songs I've learnt I have done covers for, each of them have their own difficult parts. I really don't know which one is easiest to be honest haha.

G# isnt really that low, you got bands like After The Burial playing and OCTAVE below C#

I want to get into guitar, but I want to know everyday I practice that im working towards being able to play like someone like you, or Jesse Cash, or the boys from Invent, Animate. I just want to know I'm practicing the right stuff so one day, in years, I'll be able to play like this. Thanks, such a great video.
If you are passionate enough and have the time to practice, then why not? It all depends on how much you really want to achieve it. Practice makes perfect and eventually you will be at this level, but don't expect it to happen over night. Just be happy with the progression.

I know this might be a bit late but when you say drop G# are you talking G# D# G# C# F# A# D# and do you drop the F# down to an F? Because when I play 10 13 0 it doesn't sounds right but when I drop it to an F it does
Okay now that I try it on a 6 string the 10 13 0 does work but on my 7 string it sounds wrong hmm

Skervesen website, I think it was about $3500 AUD at the time I bought it. Took about 6-8 months to make and send to me.
