Exactly! Don't worry, I could never understand the Anki hype either. I did just fine and graduated med school among the top 10 students.

I felt the same way, I tried flashcards at the start of med-school, but I simply started to study a lot more effectively when I ditched them, studying while engaged is fundamental, and flash cards are just way to boring
