It hasn't been all daisies and roses -- it was actually pretty shitty for a lot of the time and I finally got sick of it and decided to do something about it. Turns out it was on my to lead my relationship to a better place the whole time, and I fell into the trap most guys in LTRs fall into -- they get comfortable, and then they get complacent, and then they get fat and everything goes to shit. Once I started hitting the gym and finding a purpose in life again things got better but it was an uphill climb

When we woken finish our individual ego deaths, none of this will work. We are souls having a human experience. We are here to find OURSELVES.
He is 100% correct. I know all this through trial and error. It is very powerful. I literally had the last two girls that I dated, jump me on the first night I met them. I spoke to them very sparingly in text beforehand for a week or two. But I was VERY careful to keep the texts scarce and impactful (maybe a couple texts a day). Usually just replying to her. Control yourself, focus on your path and keep up your presentation. Learn to ask plenty of questions in person and make her feel like you two are the only people wherever you go. It's basically guaranteed.

I did something like this with a girl I liked after telling her, "I talked to that girl you saw me with and made it clear things weren't going to work out (they were acquaintances). I wasn't sure about her intentions until we all met up for the movie. Once I realized, then I told her I wasn't really interested in her that way. Men usually compliment my physique or look up to me for advices whereas women tend to be very jovial around me and attentive whenever I speak. Another phenomenon I noticed was that people, both loved ones and strangers, never felt weirded out whenever I entered their personal space. And I'm a very physical and intimate person. Men tend to embrace it and usually return that physical intimacy whereas women feel relaxed, comfortable with it and sometimes were the ones to initiate the light touches. Not to mention kids have a blast around me.
Very long story short, love and care for yourself in a healthy and positive way and treat everyone else with the same respect. There is this real beautiful girl that works at the coffee shop. We always had fun and laughed when I came it and she would light up but I'm not sure if she was naturally that way. Not bad tips :). As a woman I will say I agree with these. The only one I would add to is the “getting women to do things for you” one, I think it goes without saying, don’t over do this and try to give back in a similar way. I definitely like the thought of giving my guy a little massage or buying the drinks for us or making something delicious to eat but as soon as this crosses the line and makes me feel like I’m doing a lot of this and mothering you I get the ick. The KEY point that many men (including me) misses is:
*SELF-ESTEEM* - if you don't have it, nothing said in this video will work. It shouldn't be very high, it shouldn't be very low, it should be within certain margins, which are not very tight but still present.
If someone had low self-esteem, it will just feel right to them to feel bad when rejected.
Mindset of scarcity would just make more sense than mindset of abundance.
And if self-esteem is too high, it could work at first, but also could result in overestimating and overlooking certain critical things.
Men do have emotions but we are taught to supress them because "why are you crying like a girl?". And that's wrong. Feeling bad is okay and doesn't make anyone lesser of a man. In fact, it is fucking brave in modern society to admit that rejection hurts you a lot, it is brave to admit that you are afraid of being rejected. It shows connection with your own emotions, and high potential for empathy.

The most attractive guy is the one who does all this because that's what he thinks is good and what he likes, rather than to get a girl to be into him. I know a man who does these things but has never studied pick up or chases girls. He's been a kind and fun friend to me (and I fell in love with him first). He's been happy being a bachelor for years and didn't look for a relationship, just went about his business and was open enough to the idea.
He's considering marrying me "when he's ready for it" (making me wait 2 years and no sex until marriage! We live together so I can see he's not seeing anyone else) but in the meantime is enjoying getting to know me at a deeper level and getting himself ready for family life. He is detached from the outcome, so he easily says no, and when he says yes to things his heart is in it.
I’d be very concerned about a guy who is ok not having sex with you for several years. Somethings not right.
I still remember negotiating this “half commitment” stage with my first girlfriend. I wasn’t doing it on purpose I was just straight up scared of intimacy (I was homeschooled and lacked social skills, especially with women).
I eventually ended up committing to her and stayed with her for 5 years. She told me later that she **used** to think I was “cool”. Without realizing it I was doing exactly what you’re talking about but not on purpose and it made her crazy about me.
She ended up dumping me in the end, in favour of some guy I actually knew well. That breakup broke my heart from 20 to 30. Completely destroyed me. So, my girlfriend of three years broke up with me on 10 Dec. She wanted to continue hanging out with me, going to dinner, etc, like we were dating but didn't want to sleep with me and asked me to move out. Yes, I was living with her. I simply said, okay, moved out and hung out with her for about a week, then, I went NO CONTACT with her. She freaked out, after three days she wanted me back. I gave her explicit terms if I moved back in and started dating. She agreed. Take control. The make up sex was great, as it always is. You're the 1st person I've seen on UA-cam say that dating is for screening people, and should be taken seriously. And that you should screen girls before you date them.
I never had issues with girls causing drama in my life cuz I always knew them for at least a couple months before asking them out. Most of the time it was about a year or so. In other words, I knew them and what kind of person they were.
Non of them worked out yet cuz of other incompatibilities that were discovered as we dated. Sometimes I had to end it, sometimes they ended it, but the reasons were always valid even when I was heart broken... Now I know more than I ever did and know exactly what I need when I see it.

Very interesting... I'd made it a point to be self sufficient b4 I got married... after marriage we ended up working on things together and it was great and bonding. When she got pregnant with our son she also got very sick and was bed ridden. I switched back to being largely self sufficient. My son's almost 3 and my wife and I can feel distance between us. Only now do I realize that my determination to be self sufficient is pushing her away, I need to make her feel needed... without being needy....
