I really appreciate the longer videos guys. ~30 minutes+ is what I look for most times. Good background for gaming and work alike, especially when I don't have to fiddle with my phone every 10 minutes
Honestly same, I’ve learned so much about history from channels like The Fat Electrician, The Fat Files, Unsub, and list 25, all while listening to them and playing Minecraft😂. Also, a kinda fun fact (for me at least), when he mentioned the German U-Boat that “sunk” due to a toilet malfunction, I already knew that and did the famous Leonardo DiCaprio whistling at the tv and pointing gif, it was funny lol
Angkor Wat is BEAUTIFUL. Visited in 2015, we went around to all the temples, it's interesting to think that it's the largest religious structure in the world. It's hundreds of acres in area, and you do NOT realize just how massive it is until you are walking through it. lol, I remember when we had gone through the buildings on the outer wall, I thought "Oh, that was pretty cool, nice mid-sized temple". NOPE. The main structure is in the middle and it's HUGE. But so amazing. Just bring earplugs, the cicadas were deafening.
Angkor is so stunning! I’ve been given to understand that it’s no longer possible to climb up the wat itself, but the year I spent traveling around Southeast Asia, that was not the case, so up I went.
In Japan, there is a meat eating and screaming festival out in the countryside that I'd really love to attend! People get together, grill meats and then scream about all the things bothering them in order to provide some much needed catharsis.

It used to be be tradition here in the States to bell the newlywed couple like they do in France. I think that’s what it was called. I remember as a very young child going with my parents and neighbors and belling a newlywed couple in our community. We banged on pots and pans, sung, and demanded that the new husband come out. Which he didn’t. My parents, those neighbors, and the couple have all passed on now, but what a memory!
I lived in San Francisco for 30 years, so I feel comfortable telling you that those rocks out in the Pacific are pronounced PHARAOH-LAWNS. Speaking of heroes. Not all wear capes or have martial art skills. Some are armed with a phone and their superpower is paying attention. I work retail. We’ve had several repeat shoplifters who steal thousands of dollars of merchandise in one go. One day we got hit by our shoplifter we’ve named Tall. He’s very tall. While I’m on the phone with police a customer calls saying he’s at the local park. I relay the message to police. Talk gets arrested. Upon investigation he didn’t just steal from us but various other retailers. One call now several dozen crimes are solved.

I don't know about the wallabies in Scotland, probably some rich dude thought it'd be cool to bring some. However, the boats in the dried up Aral Sea isn't odd because the Soviets thought it'd be beneficial to grow their crops and cut off the river sources. However, the northern part is recovering. Camels in Australia, they are good at going a long time without too much water and will eat almost anything, so the British brought them in. I mean, the U.S. did too in Arizona, good for us, the trains arrived before they did too much damage. Now, the London Bridge in Arizona, well, some rich dude bought it when the British government was going to replace it. Hey, cut down a bit on the cost of the new one, eh? Finally, the Prada store near Marfa Texas is an art installation, not really a store. And then, when I was 14 in 1969, I managed to hold up a girl who had claimed she could swim (she could not) but when the councilors had pushed her in, pretty much right on top of me. When I came up, she was facing the swim dock, doing the panicked arm stuff. I was behind her, so I just reached out and put my hands under her arms to make sure she did not actually drown. Honestly, if she had just relax and turn on her back, she had enough fat she would have floated. The councilors were looking down at her, remember, she had said she could swim, and not doing anything until I finally said: "Could you take her off my hands?" They were looking for a towel long enough to reach her or an oar. Once they started getting her going in the right direction, I continued to support her until we got to the ladder to get her out. Then I waited before I asked: "Can I give you my shoes now?" This was a 10 minute staying afloat test for boating. They looked down at me, with my arms resting quietly on the water surface. "Are you standing on something?" one of them asked. "No, I'm just using my legs," I replied. Yes, I then proceeded to not use my arms for the rest of the test except when I moved back away from the dock again.
