I just got back from a 3-day camping trip with my son. I have concluded that I am too old to be sleeping on the ground on a pad. A set of these are definitely coming with us on our next trip.

I just bought an xl and am excited to use it soon. I’ve wanted one of these since the first time I saw one around 1999 or so when I was a teenage camp counselor. It’s impressive they are still available. Must be good.
I bought these. We got the XL and the leg extensions which gives the bottom bunk more room. The problem with some tents that are rounded, the bunk may need to be in the center where the tent roof is the highest. It’s very comfortable - no middle bar. Well worth the money spent!
I wish I had watched your video before I assembled mine- I followed the directions and it took much longer! The 2xl (which I have) has additional brackets to help keep it stable, I'm glad I went with it over the regular large or xl, teenagers can be rough on stuff.
now, they mostly throw in those side bags. Some people have found them at costco for 199 including the sidebags, extensions, footpads. That's a great deal. I never saw that at Atlanta costcos even though they're made near Atlanta.

We had a stackable cot 35 years ago when we went tent camping when I was young. Although, I wouldn't say they were terribly comfortable. They had the dreaded middle bar. But stacking has been a thing for a while. Hoping the modern version of a stackable cot is a bit more comfy.

I just realized this would work well for two men carrying a large load of firewood back to camp! Also would be good as a stretcher for transporting a wounded person in the field.
store your bedding and pillows in the fabric flap while in couch mode and then you won't have the bar digging into your back!

Amazon Canada has the extenders and it adds 7 inches between bottom and top...35 bucks Canadian dollars...so you will get them cheaper on Amazon.com I'm sure...great review...thanks

The rounded design is supposed to keep them from sinking into the floor of tents or into the grass but you can purchase a rubber bottom as well
I really enjoyed your video i love the way you explain everything you are straight forward and clear and wow such an incredible product, may i ask how long you have had and used your for? Wear and tear wise have you run into problems at all?
Thanks for the encouragement! I've owned my discobeds for about 6 years now. I only use them periodically and the only wear and tear item is that over time the fabric can sag just a little bit. My two sets still work very well though.

how was the sagging for these cots? You mentioned sleeping on it for long period of time, it's been 5 years since you made this video, did the cot sag, if so how by how much?

How high can you stack them?
Can I use one of the cots with the extension legs on the ground without damaging it? or is it only intended for stacking bunks?
Do you know the difference in inches for length and width of the kids, and large versus XL?

What is the difference between the kid-o-bed and the adult other than the size? I need to put one inside my van but the extra large too big. Can the large or small hold an adult 155 lbs and 165 lbs ? Thanks
