I love love love your tutorials. Thank you so much. I can play twinkle twinkle little star thanks to you. I'm 86 tears old. So excited I can play something.
I just got my first violin 2 days ago and I've checked out your first few videos and you have been VERY help full and I checked out like 20 other people before I found your videos I can already play twinkle twinkle little star. (ALMOST with out any screeching LOL). But anyways thanks. Keep it up !
Hey Adam! Thank you so much for the kind words, I am so happy the video was able to help you. Let me know if you have any requests for covers or skills you would like to learn, I'll add them to the list.
I'm a 36 year old perfectionist who has 12 years of piano under my belt. I picked up the violin just 2 weeks ago after wanting to learn for over 10 years. My brain is having a harder time transitioning from piano to violin than I thought. Thank you for your words of wisdom and encouragement, especially towards the end of this video! My brain is trained for a different instrument... playing slow and focusing is really helping this noob out! ❤
You are so very welcome, and I appreciate you commenting on the last bit of advice as I truly believe it is some of the most important in this video :) I have heard from many people through my life that transitioning from piano to violin can be difficult, so dont give up and just keep practicing...as you already know very well i assume :P
lololol ABSOLUTELY! It sounds so cliche but time and patience will be your best friends for practicing! Also dont push yourself to hard in the beginning, take it easy on yourself!
My bow was working fine but now I can't get the bow to make sound on the strings. It has rosin on it but it's not working. What would cause that and how can I fix it?
Still my favorite violin instructor on youtube
Hey thanks so much mah dude! Truly appreciated :)
I find you hard to find. What name do you go under?
