I've never seen your videos before. I love them. The fact that you speak slowly helps me a lot, because I'm practicing to become fluent in English. And with your lesson, I understood the pathology at the same time as practicing my English. Thank you so much !!!
Great video. Easy to understand. I think the great takeaway from this video is the important concept you mentioned of A to Z. When you have obstruction in a circuit in the human body everything behind it increases. Applicable to myriad pathophysiological scenarios
Nutmeg liver.. Theres zone 1, 2 and 3. centrilobular is the furhest from artery and periportal is the nearest to hepatic artery. In edema gives the nutmeg appearance.
Absolutely loved it ! God bless you ! Trully helped me . In my Rhomatology course i saw the syndrome name and had doubts on it since i went through it in physiology course . You did way way better than what i needed . Best regards from a medicine enthusiast
I love this so much, and I appreciate you so so much, however I threw my laptop across the library when the fourth commercial interrupted your sweet wise voice
Very nice sir ..I love your video .that teach teach me from basic to top..sir pls add all possible most common medicine video.. HUMANITY IS BEST ART OF MEDICINE..PROSTARation to you namsate
If we do a surgical shunt bt IVC and Portal vein, in this case the liver can't detoxify anymore! Toxins will build up leading to hepatic encephalopathy and other problems. I mean what about the toxins?
Ahsante sana, very helpful. What is your reference? I used bailey and love but no much info. I would like to read more about it. Would appreciate if you give your references. Thanks again. New sub.
Hi, I am from Tamilnadu, India, i need a help. My nephew has lost his mother in C section delivery since heavy blood loss. His father got remarried. Now I only take care of him . He has been suffered by Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension, some doctors mentioned it as portal fibrosis. anyways he is suffered by splenomegaly and liver issues. Doctors say that it is because of the blockage in veins while transporting blood from intestine to liver after endoscopy. is he affected by this Budd-Chiari syndrome by any chance? if so, whom do i contact for treatment? Along with this recently he was suffering from some neuro issues, that he cannot walk properly. please help me. 😰I consulted so many doctors but nobody gets a conclusion. I m requesting you again please help me
I was diagnosed with BCS 2 years ago. Many ultrasounds, cat scans, MRIs and bloodwork later, I have now been hospitalized with internal bleeding twice needing blood transfusions and many days spent at the hospital with last time resulting into a 7 day coma. I am lost and still looking for an answer, help, hopefully a solution to this disease. Any Doctors specialized in this syndrome? I would appreciate some input snd help 🙏

Play at *2 speed.
You're welcome 😘
😂😂😂 now I understand!
internal hemorrhoids are painless(above dentate line)as they receive visceral innervation.
external hemmorrhoids are painful, below the dentate line, receive somatic innervation(inferior rectal branch of pudendal nerve)
The itch from hemmoriods drive me insane
Thank you for making this video. My Dad is diagnosed with Budd Chiari Syndrome and your video has really helped me to understand his condition.
Very well discussed. Even an elderly physician like me could appreciate it and recall the pathophysiology.😆😆

Thanks for the great video. I just presnted with advanced liver failure at 41.5 yrs old. Would you consider revising your point about
anorectal varices are not the same as haemorrhoids. haemorrhoids are also generally not painful.
The classic internal vs external, I know...
I am talking generally.
Excellent 👏👊
Appreciate it! Thank you:)
Portal HTN does not cause hemorrhoid ,it causes rectal varices
Who are the best doctors in India to treat this disease ? ?
But why does this diseases cause swollen legs(edema) ?
