Wow! The ingenuity, strength and determination to handle these vehicles in order to make a living is just inspiring. I salute the Congolese people, great work
This is the real high technology, being able to produce something useful with the resources that they have in hand. The main tool for manufacturing a scooter is simply a machete ............ I myself being from the Congo, I really admire these people with such incredible skill to build a movable and indispensable scooter to helps carry loads and at the same time making a living from it. I was amazed by the young kids that use them for leisure purpose.
Man thank you so much for portraying these handmade scooters at work. I am actually from the Congo and I have witnessed these fascinating chukudu at work. I left the Congo when I was 15 years old and back then the Chukudu was very much used for load transportation. It was cheaper and I believe it's still is because its self propelled and so doesn't need gas. Thanks again
Thank you for sharing this amazing video about the Congo. There are smart people in Africa who can do bigger things is just that the governments down there aren't very supportive. The things should start being exported.
I'm impressed by the creativity of the Congolese people. With a little support, they can achieve remarkable feats, and there's potential for them to even start exporting the small-sized Chukudu as toys. The race activity involving the young boys was particularly enjoyable to watch. Thank you Elvis for sharing this incredible story with us.
The Chukudu has the potential to become a billion-dollar industry if Africans invest in seriousness and technology. This traditional mode of transportation, with its simplicity and adaptability, could evolve into a significant economic driver with things like Tourism and cultural heritage. Shout out to the Congolese people.
Chukudus are not only a mode of transportation but also a source of income for many in the region. People often use them to transport goods and earn a living.
That is correct. Chukudu truly embody versatility in their role. Not only do they serve as a practical mode of transportation, but they also contribute significantly to the livelihoods of many individuals in the region. Thank you for the support.
I think it's interesting. Make the chukudu out of locally available materials and keep it as simple as possible for ease of repairs. They're just getting the jobs done. Respect.
Absolutely Nice! The ingenuity, strength, and determination displayed by the Congolese people who operate these vehicles are truly inspiring. It's a testament to the resilience and adaptability of individuals who find innovative ways to make a living in challenging circumstances. Their resourcefulness and hard work deserve admiration and respect. ♥
These are way more practical than I was expecting from the thumbnail. I was expecting a toy made by some bored handymen, but this looks better than a wheelbarrow for hauling bagged goods long distances and with fewer moving parts than a cart. 🛵🛵🛵🛵
We need to bring in as many of these scientists and inventors into Europe and America as humanly possible. Think of all the amazing things they will create when they live next door to you and go to your children’s school and with the help of AI, they will be able to create flying scooter like what we saw in Dubai last time.
Bringing scientists and inventors from around the world, including regions where innovation is thriving, into Europe and America can indeed be a fantastic way to foster collaboration and drive progress. Like for this type of vehicle, I have loved to see that kids can even use them for racing. It is so amazing.
These are very fascinating. I wish there was something like this in USA. The wheelbarrow is great for concretes and rocks but if you want to carry 10 2*4s you cant really use a wheel barrow and material carts with caster wheels suck on non paved terrain.
This scooter has proven the ingenuity of the Congolese people to cope. Their ability to solve load transportation problem is just amazing and this video proves it. Thank you le Dan

The Chukudu represents a sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transportation, as it doesn't rely on fossil fuels and has a low environmental impact.
That is true. Given its human-powered nature, Chukudus have a minimal carbon footprint, making them an eco-friendly choice for short-distance travel.
