Love it!! Both sides of headlights work, no more winking. lol I do think they cheaped out on master cylinder. I am sure they wanted to keep it under 12k but come on, an extra $100 and put on a Brembo MC. This is a bike as you walk away, you turn your head and look back at it and say damn that's sexy. These will probably be available at first and then you wont find em anywhere. Lot of bike for the money.

I also own a 2023 Harley FXST NO abs and built her up to a 119 CI with a 2 into 1 stainless Trask exhaust, both bikes are all black with a little red highlight. the Kawa has 124 HP, 117 at the rear wheel my Harley has 116 HP at the rear wheel now. different tools for different riding... the kawa is the most dependable bike I have ever owned in 55 years in the wind, great review and you can not go wrong owning one. 👍👍👍
Awsome bike Ray! Thanks for taking us along for a ride! Winter is in full swing up here in Canada so its always great to watch you riding when I can't....
This bike wasn't really on my radar but it's winning me over with the fact it's got everything and a silky smooth yet grunty inline 4. I don't imagine buyers could be unhappy with it. Kawasaki always seems to do a great fit/finish and function.
Awesome review here Ray! I've been staying on top of Kawasaki news and when I saw you uploaded this video, I had to jump on it! You got me sold on this thing man. That seat looks SUPER comfy and definitely looks like it has the torque haha. God bless and cheers to a happy year 2025!
Loved it ray, thanks for the video on my favorite bike. Love how smooth inline fours are, also glad it makes usable power. Im 35 with three boys and just want a smooth fun bike to ride, dont need 200 hp for where i live with a 12 mile commute on twisty back roads but i like a little more punch than a 650 can give. Love the drone footage at the begging. God bless ray take care!
Another great review Ray! Thank you, sir! I'm a kawa guy, riding a 23' ZX14, and almost buying a naked bike, love the Z900 but I think Kawasaki is praying for Honda to not bring the new Hornet 1000 to the US which has more power, torque and could cost even less than the Z900. Imao Kawasaki made a huge mistake of not selling or updating the Z1000 (they 've done that to prevent sales conflicts with the ZH2). Thanks for the video.
Thanks for Commenting and I hear alot of people wanting that Z1000 back, the hornet 1000 lacks 1 thing maybe 2. No 6 axis imu and no cruise i believe. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Happy New Year too! Ride SAFE my friend!!

Nice review as always. You were a little tongue tied today. We all have those days. I don't want to start a debate, but i ALWAYS ride with my highbeam on in the day time!!! Doing that has helped me stay alive for 40 years in the saddle. My motto is, "If you're on two wheels and can't be seen, prepare to meet the angels as they sing." BTW, Kawasaki has the best intake grunt in the business IMHO.
When i do on my bike, i often get people (driving cars) flashing theirs coming my way, which basically means over here that they get blinded by my beam and advice me to turn it off...
@jg7173 In the daytime or at night? I see 80% of riders using their highbeam at night, which will blind oncoming traffic. Rarely do i see other riders using their highbeam in the day. It's kind of hard to "blind" another driver in broad daylight. If it does annoy people, you know they see you.
@@cg1288 I am talking about daytime only. At night it is unwise to do as it truly blinds other traffic. But apparently here there is a law against the use of high beam at any time, except for when it is needed (weather conditions / fog etc). So. I could get a fine for it if the police feels annoyed by the light as well. Pity as I do like it to be more visible at all times.

Man, I can't answer that - I like the look of the Vulcan more. But either one are Awesome Motorcycles. Really!!!!! Thanks for Commenting Morsusclips!!! Let me know what you Decide.
Street Triple is a great bike, but not as comfortable, and I've seen street Triples for sale used - and it takes a while to sell them. Also Kawasaki's dealer network is hugely larger. Just saying! Both are great bikes the choice is yours to make.
Man super comfy! Really comfortable riding position and seat - its most comfortable bikes I've ever rode!! Really!!! Thanks Kevin for Commenting and Watching 🙏🏻. Happy New Year also my friend!!!
I'm seriously considering selling my 23' MT10 SP and my 22' Z900 SE to get this one. Thanks for the video. I Just have one comment, though. The rise of your voice towards the end of every comment, ouch 😖😅.
Kawasaki really needs to get something into the middle weight sport bike (note: not super sport, they have the 636 for that) market. Suzuki has had great success with the GSX8R, then there's the Aprillia, Yamaha R7, Daytona from Triumph and Honda's CBR650r (if you can actually find one). The closest thing Kawi has is the Ninja 650 and it's so out of class that nobody even includes it in comparison videos. NB4 ZX4RR, which is kind of a niche bake and anytime it comes up it's immediately followed with "You gotta get it flashed tho". Perhaps they could do a major update to the Ninja or something. Either way, I'd love to see them have something competitive in that market segment.
Suzuki is working on redesigning all the GSXR LINE , by the end 2025- To be seen in The EICMA Show in Italy at the end of the year- I've heard there is a New 900 Class Ninja like the R9 coming. Good talking to you My friend!!!!!
The GSX S1000 was on my radar, but this adds cruise control, IMU, USB charger, Ohlins rear suspension, steel brake lines, and radial-mounted master brake cylinder…for the same price. Yes, you should trade. 😊
Hello sir I m from India 🇮🇳 In 2025 z900 2025 vs ninja 1100 sx 2025 which is the best bike for daily use for 50 km drive daily and as well as week end trips Please suggest me which is the best one
Been using z900 daily for 50km drive to work: super comfortable in the city, 1100sx is an overkill for the city and more of a tourer for 300km plus weekend rides
What's your take on those bilateral pieces of brushed aluminum? I'm not sure I like them. I guess I'll find out as mine arrives Thursday. BTW, really like all your MC videos, keep 'em coming.
Hey ray wanted your opinion on this I am a beginner rider and am living in canada and expecting my licence should I buy this as my first bike so I don’t have to waste a money on a 600 cc then upgrade after a year or 2. Thanks for a awesome review. Waiting for it since ever
Hey Gamer, I am in Canada also, and bought the 2023 version of this. And now I want this one...grrrrr! 😂. That's how the tech race goes. My point is that I agree with Ray on this one. Everyone has their belief about this as a first bike, and it's up to them, but as Ray said, we only get one life. I started on a 2010 Ninja 650 and rode it for 13 years. I kept it that long because it worked like a charm, I had a blast and didn't give a fook 😅, who said what about it. It was plenty quick to have fun with. Although, if you're new to riding you might find the 650 range is all you want, depending on use. This bike can be a handful, but fun as hell! You can grow into, I did. Hope this helps.
What you got there is not something to cry about your bike is just as powerful as you need it to be but it’s just as time passes new and better machines will come
At your hight can you flat foot it with that hight seat? I believe Kawasaki sells a thinner seat for shorter riders for this bike. Happy New to you and your loved ones.
@@RayBowdenRides Sorry. I‘m not an English native speaker. The translator Said: do you know the registered standing noise in decibels? In Europe it‘s normaly printed on this black Sticker on the frame under the Seat (right side)
@RayBowdenRides that 157hp is hard to argue with, the only thing it is missing is IMU and cruise control. Nothing else in the price range is close to that power so it depends on what you want, I believe most people will opt for power and Honda reliability
@annon-ski7985 That could be true 👍. It is no doubt a Excellent Value!!! We will see alot of them that's for Sure!! I really think Honda and really all the Manufacturers have been on hold since the pandemic. I ready to see some innovation!
Amazing video! I was waiting for this so thank you for review! Quichshifter seem so smooth even through video, can you clutchless downshift while accelerating? (new mt09 can so just comparing). Also, are seats more comfortable as there have been a lot of complaints on that previously?
@ sorry, I didn’t understand the answer. For example, while using full throttle in 6th gear (4000rpm let’s say) can you clutchless downshift to 4th? On Yamaha official website it clearly specifies that it’s 3rd gen quickshifter and that it is possible to do that while on Kawasaki website they didn’t. Sorry to question details, I was waiting for long that they update tech as it’s the best looking naked for me 😂
No it's Better ,more Comfortable!! I've got a video on a 23 or 24 MT-09, Your going to love it!!! Congratulations and Happy New Year my friend 🙏🏻. Please Stay in Touch!!!

Don't think so, Good talking to you again Sludged!! Happy New Year!!!
@ happy new year brother!
Which one should one choose between z900 and street triple rs ?
Street Triple is a great bike, but not as comfortable, and I've seen street Triples for sale used - and it takes a while to sell them. Also Kawasaki's dealer network is hugely larger. Just saying! Both are great bikes the choice is yours to make.
Old display was good
True, New one is even Better!
The intake howl of a Kawasaki inline 4 is so addicting.
Man it is!!!!
I have this on order…in Tyler Tx…so hopefully this video means I should get it soon
You should!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
How comfortable is that seat?
Man super comfy! Really comfortable riding position and seat - its most comfortable bikes I've ever rode!! Really!!! Thanks Kevin for Commenting and Watching 🙏🏻. Happy New Year also my friend!!!
@@RayBowdenRides Do the foot pegs force your feet back
@mrrandy1 no not really, From what I remember they have a Rubber pad on top of the peg and where straight below my hips!! Happy New Year my friend 🙏🏻.
I really like the z900rs ... Fingers crossed..... They update it 2026 with cruise control and quick shifter, BUT WITH THE CURRENT ANALOG GUAGES.
I don't see analog gauges coming- but maybe.
Does the seat slam your groin into the tank on braking?
No not at all. Thanks for Commenting and Watching 🙏🏻. Happy New Year to you as Well!!
On any bike, just squeeze your knees in a little under harsh braking. It stops that
It is a redesigned seat with a flatter profile and better padding than the previous version. So should be more comfy.
@fyorbane it's super comfortable!
First review of this bike. Good one Ray.
Does this got a wheelie control?
I want to say yes, but I'm not sure.
@@RayBowdenRides eagerly waiting for the bike to be available in Australia
@hi2guru good talking to you!!
Yea through ABS and traction control. No direct button
@Larrs Thanks for helping 🙏🏻.
How is it height wise for you? I’m 5’10, wondering if I could comfortably flat foot it or if I would have to be more on the balls of my feet with it.
I'm 5'7 and flat foot it with boots on... you'll be fine
Flat foot for you all day long!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel Legendary!!!
is it possible to review Street Triple RS. basically vs Z900 SE
I've done a street Triple rs review! The biggest difference is the riding position. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
@@RayBowdenRides Yeah I saw that after this comment. Thank you Sir :)
I didn't know the 2025 was out.
Just released- Starting to ship to Dealerships. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, And Happy New Year!!!

🤣 You want some highway action huh, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Happy New Year to you as Well!!
I'm seriously considering selling my 23' MT10 SP and my 22' Z900 SE to get this one. Thanks for the video. I Just have one comment, though. The rise of your voice towards the end of every comment, ouch 😖😅.
Thanks for watching!! 😂
Kawasaki discontinued the Z800 look it up
@Champion2Manager thanks for the Info!!
Wow, cruise control!! Should I trade my GSXS 1000 for this?
The GSX S1000 was on my radar, but this adds cruise control, IMU, USB charger, Ohlins rear suspension, steel brake lines, and radial-mounted master brake cylinder…for the same price. Yes, you should trade. 😊
That's up to you, your bike makes more hp. I believe it does.
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
@@cjljr41 yeah the z900 has more goodies
@JagMoto636 thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel!!
Hello sir I m from India 🇮🇳
In 2025 z900 2025 vs ninja 1100 sx 2025 which is the best bike for daily use for 50 km drive daily and as well as week end trips
Please suggest me which is the best one
Longer rides i would probably pick the Ninja 1100SX. It's a little bit bigger and more spread out.
@ thank you bro ❤️😘😘😘
Been using z900 daily for 50km drive to work: super comfortable in the city, 1100sx is an overkill for the city and more of a tourer for 300km plus weekend rides
@@ikaustralia is it not possible 1100sx daily above 40 km for long drive means maximum highway only 5 km in city but daily ????
@@ikaustralia thank you bro ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This vs honda hornet will be intresting ❤
Hornets cheaper and for a reason, a WHOLE LOT LESS TECH!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting Awesome!! Happy New Year buddy!!
Will the hornet be available in the US, though? Probably not.
@aldoroman3931 don't know on that one. Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻
Does it comes with a launch control?
I don't believe so.
What's your take on those bilateral pieces of brushed aluminum? I'm not sure I like them. I guess I'll find out as mine arrives Thursday. BTW, really like all your MC videos, keep 'em coming.
Thanks Zimmerae!! Excited for you my friend, Stay in Touch and Happy New Year!!!
Hey sir it’s really nice naked bike I really want to get one
I want to know if you can help me to ship it to North Africa please 😊
Call Mike Canon at 972-422-4111 and he can handle all the arrangements.. call him about 9am CST.
Thank you so much ❤
@MLZitouni07 your welcome!!!
How comfortable is pillion seat? Does it like the previous z900?
Don't know on that one, I'm sorry! Happy new year my Friend!!!
A hooligan machine 😂
It is promise🙏🏻.
Now I'm just waiting for them to put these electronics on the zx6r, THEN we're talking!
Yes 👍, I would believe it's probably coming soon!!
Its Kawasaki Answer to the new Hornet, I like it.
You'll really like it when you see it!
Hey ray wanted your opinion on this I am a beginner rider and am living in canada and expecting my licence should I buy this as my first bike so I don’t have to waste a money on a 600 cc then upgrade after a year or 2. Thanks for a awesome review. Waiting for it since ever
This is not the answer your looking for, start small and learn. You can always buy another bike! You only get 1 life!
Hey Gamer,
I am in Canada also, and bought the 2023 version of this.
What you got there is not something to cry about your bike is just as powerful as you need it to be but it’s just as time passes new and better machines will come
@@RayBowdenRides that’s true. What are some bikes you would recommend in the naked segment
@gamergenix5922 thanks for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
At your hight can you flat foot it with that hight seat? I believe Kawasaki sells a thinner seat for shorter riders for this bike. Happy New to you and your loved ones.
Yes on the shorter seat - I don't remember exactly, but it was no problem what soever.
@ Thanks legend 👍
@conservativesniperhunter7439 very welcome my friend!!
Great Video. Can you show the black Sticker under the seat on the right side of the frame? Or tell me the specified dB on it? :) Thank you
Not understanding your question??
@@RayBowdenRides Sorry. I‘m not an English native speaker. The translator Said: do you know the registered standing noise in decibels?
In Europe it‘s normaly printed on this black Sticker on the frame under the Seat (right side)
@@RayBowdenRides maybe you know it? :)
@danielgebhart1 know I don't, but I'm sure it's epa approved. You might could google it. AWESOME Comment!!!
The new hornet will be in its class but has 157hp, this is a damn nice bike though. This has cruise control though.
It's definitely a very capable machine. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Honda will force the others to lower the prices with the new 1000 Hornet.
Personally I will go for the 2025 MT-09
@martinandersson5278 the Hornet will be a great bike, but for features and Tech it falls short. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Yes on the downshift!! Seat seems to be alot more comfortable!!! Thanks for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
@RayBowdenRides you sure about downshifting with opened throttle? That is what I'd really want to have, gives so much fun :)
Sorry to question details, I was waiting for long that they update tech as it’s the best looking naked for me 😂
@ exactly!!! That’s the main thing that bothers me that Yamaha mt09 can do and potentially z900 can’t 🤣
Why do you guys care so much about downshifting on an open throttle?
Ciao! Il quikshift funziona a bassi regimi?
1500 Rpm and above- Yes! Happy new Year buddy 🙏🏻.
I need this bike
Dilly it's got your name on it!! Happy New Year my friend 🙏🏻.
Ray, after your video I ordered a z900 se. Thanks. Please tell me how the ride comfort and position compare to the mt 09. Is the position much worse?
No it's Better ,more Comfortable!! I've got a video on a 23 or 24 MT-09, Your going to love it!!! Congratulations and Happy New Year my friend 🙏🏻. Please Stay in Touch!!!
Can you turn the ABS off?
