I grew up playing the Baldwin Acrosonic (red mahogany) that my parents bought in 1960. To this day, it's a pleasure to play. It needs some work, yes, but it has a beautiful sound, lots of personality and heart. 🎹♥️
I still have the Acrosonic then I inherited from my mom. It looks just like this one except it has the original finish which is excellent. I believe mine is from 1973 or perhaps a few years earlier.
I have a Fischer apt grand. Just out of curiosity, how much is that Fischer upright? The first piano I looked at was a Fischer spinet. I didn't know much then and it was horribly bright and out of tune, but I became interested in finding that brand.

I have one that was also made in 1973. It is in wonderful condition. The primary wood for the case is pecan. Boy does it need tuning!
