He can take a beating and probably be alright, gradually regening stuff like cuts and bruises and stuff but like I’m pretty sure broken bones and stuff like that would take a bit longer. Eh I'd argue that Pato's devil fruit would be even better to have, because you can create things such as people to do tasks for you, objects to suit your needs, and food to survive. Of course you need Leaves for it, but it's still an indispensable DF. The Mythical version of Tanuki's can also shapeshift on par on Kitsunes, so there's that too.

Something you forgot to mention or maybe didn't know about Pato's fruit (the Inu-Inu no mi, Bake-Danuki): Patrick Redfield used its powers to create a clone of Pato with all the same powers. That means you could theoretically use that to create countless copies of him, each one capable of turning leafs into anything or anyone you want. Wealth, women, food, weapons, ships, animals, monsters, armies, god-like warriors, islands, mansions, castles, fantasy waifus, could all be at your fingertips, even if all you have is a cheap copy of Pato.
Dude glad you included the video game fruits because the Bake-danuki one is hands down my favorite. The fact you can just create literally anything is maddening on top of the physical boost if eaten by a person or another race like Mink. Foxes and fox spirits in Japanese myths are generally known for being tricksters and shapeshifters that use illusions and spells to mess with people for shits and giggles. knowing that, i would argue that Devon doesn't turn into other people, rather she casts an illusion over herself to appear as other people. if that's the case, then the fruit becomes MUCH more powerful as a theoretically "Perfect Illusion" has the ability to trick the human brain into believing pretty much anything. with the right application, one could (IN THEORY) cast an illusion on opponents to trick them into believing that they were shot through the heart, or missing limbs. if the illusion is strong enough (and the Nine-Tail would have the strongest illusions out of any fox spirit) then you could essentially fool an entire army into simply passing out from shock and/or paralyzing them from fear. this makes the Nine-Tail Fruit ARGUABLY A Tier, given the sheer level of versatility in illusions and misdirection. to further my theories, just go watch literally ANY magic show and watch how easily tricked humans are. and that's without supernatural powers. if a person could legitimately force the human brain to believe something was real, they could apply the Fruit's powers in MILLIONS of different ways even if their opponent already knows it's not real. most people don't believe there are monsters hiding under their beds, or down the basement stairs. but i guarantee you have at least felt a slight chill or nervous twinge when you turn off the lights, and maybe you walk up the stairs slightly faster than you usually would. that SAME type of miniscule doubt buried into the human subconscious, when fully weaponized, could become an incredibly dangerous power to fight against. i have done a LOT of research into illusions and foxes XD i might be slightly obsessed, thank you for coming to my TEDTalk
People are acting like Kaido started out as a fish rather than being an actual dragon as if any fruits have ever worked like that lmao. Most likely, the answer is a lot more simple than people think: When naming Mythical Zoans, they are named after their "base" form, such as inu (dog) or hito (man). Even though Luffy's fruit is literally a god, it's called the "Hito-hito no mi". In no instance is the Zoan Fruit's "type" based on a mythical creature because they don't actually exist. In no instance has a Zoan Fruit been named after a creature that does not exist. Odds are, "fish" was chosen because out of all existing creatures, Seiryu is most similar to a fish. The type of "creature" the Zoan is is linked to the "Model", which more concretely describes what it is. Like Kaku's fruit, a Giraffe is not an ox, but it doesn't fit into any other large category, but the ox is close enough. The only exception to this rule is for the Ancient Dinosaur Zoans, which are called dragons. I think by now though, everyone knows why they are referred to as dragons.

Honestly Orochi's fruit should be a lot higher since in the myth its based the orochi had other powers besides just being a big snake. I feel it gets a bad rap just because its user is the one of the most useless characters in the series.

I would shift Yamato to A since a literal deity would tie it to the next deity on the list. Plus the design of it's beast form is extremely cool as well. Having an AA tier praising and working hard for your fruit is no small feat either. Being able to wear ice armour, conjure ice barriers, have increased strength and claws makes it a clear distinction from B and lower. Devon would be shifted to B purely based on potential. The rest can remain.

That being said i want to say two things, let's remember that yamatos ice armor could withstand a thunder bagua in the head, and ice breath could stop kaido's alcoholic breath which evaporates mountains, just those two things would make it an S class fruit. The second thing is the nika fruit when awakened like in the actual story which is "canonly real" not just hypothetical, is so broken that it should be an AAA class above S.

That's fair, but tbh, travel has never really been much of an issue for even people who can't fly. Plus, people like Kizaru and Marco are always seen needing a ride, so not sure how viable it is with stamina and all

Yamato's fruit is not underrated. He's Kaido's son and spent his life training to become a warrior like Oden. That's where most of his strenght comes from, not the fruit.
It's not confirmed canon yet, but my favourite Mythical Zoan is the Hito-Hito no mi Model: One Piece God GLR. It's theorised Liam ate this about 5 years ago and awakened it recently to achieve 1M subs

The lowest grade mythical fruits should get is C+ cause , they are next to impossible to get. The user can be trash and the fruit does 100% of the work cause that’s how broken they are
I know this is pure speculation, but based off of Japanese mythology, the orochi fruit should in theory be really powerful. Except that the character, Orochi, probably never learnt to use it properly. Also, as someone else have already pointed out, the phoenix fruit doesn't make Marco function like a logia, he does get damaged whenever hit (this was shown in the manga), it's just that he heals so fast that it takes a lot of damage before it starts showing. Also also, foxes are canids, as in evolutionarily they are part of the same family as other canids like dogs and wolves. If you notice, the zoan fruits are classified according to their families, hence demonstrating that Oda knows his zoology.
The Yamata no Orochi probably has a lot of untapped potential. It's just that its user is probably one of the most worthless characters in the series. But if you think about it, the other two snake fruits are probably some of best regular zoan and this one takes that and multiplies it by eight. Not to forget the multiple lives and the massive form of the mythical Orochi and that fruit has the potential to be great. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the fruit had other unseen abilities like venomous fangs, hypnotic eyes, shedding skin for recovery, and other mythical qualities often associated with snakes. But even if it did, it would be impossible to know with such an inadequate user.
I have a theory that he missed one. Chopper's fruit has not had its model revealed. I believe, due to his "human" form's hairy scary appearance, that his fruit is the mythical bigfoot fruit. He has more transformations than any other zoan user we have seen, meaning it is special in some way. I know the rumble ball enhanced his powers, but he no longer needs the rumble ball to access all but one form, meaning they are natural forms that require more experience and training. Then again, it could be ancient but I doubt it. Bigfoot is more a myth.
I find it odd how Luffy is like the one Mythical Zoan that runs out of energy, when the abilities of nearly everyone else (Except Law) has unlimited energy. I couldn't give it an S when someone with the life force of Luffy is rendered an old, dying man after just minutes of taking Nika's form.
Yamato being basically Amatersau from Okami made me so happy, I genuinely enjoyed her style of fighting but we dont know enough about it. She did hang w Kaido for a scrap so B is a great spot for her. Regeneration of bird wang? S S S tier

I've still had some difficulty adapting to Luffy being a zoan type too. I like to think I handle change well but this throws out everything I thought I knew about the fundamentals of this series.
It's odd how the mythical zoans range from earth-shattering power to near docile threats. Sengoku could've sunk Marineford, while Orochi can't even smash a boulder. Yeah, the logias do have some disparity between them, but not this much!
Yamatos should be higher, can literally produce ice that can defend against kaidos attacks and she also has the ability to produce lightning like kaidos, should definitely be higher
I really don't know how Yamato's DF got put in D. If you're basing it on feats her only real opponent was KAIDO. And she wasn't curbstomped. Its proof of her abilities being at least A even if you wanted to contribute that more due to Yamato and not the devil fruit itself.
I really think Orochi's fruit is amazing (A tier I'd say) in terms of potential: 9 independently controlled head, deadly poison if I remember correctly, resistance to decapitation (and maybe other forms of death). As a bonus, it's quite terryfying in terms of appearance.

Is there a chance that the Hito Hito No Mi Daibutsu allows the user to obtain enlightenment and to see the truth of all things? Perhaps Sengoku initially strived toward his rank of admiral in the Navy so he could have access to information regarding to and the return of Joy Boy (being aware of his existence via his devil fruit). But after the witnessing the fall of Ace during the Paramount War and Luffy's will to protect his brother,. Sengoku saw the truth of Luffy's character and that he was in fact the reincarnation of Joy Boy. This in turn leads Sengoku to resign from the Navy, as he doesn't wish to stand against what he knows to be the inheritor of Joy Boys will and a better future for the world.

knowing that, i would argue that Devon doesn't turn into other people, rather she casts an illusion over herself to appear as other people.
if that's the case, then the fruit becomes MUCH more powerful as a theoretically "Perfect Illusion" has the ability to trick the human brain into believing pretty much anything. with the right application, one could (IN THEORY) cast an illusion on opponents to trick them into believing that they were shot through the heart, or missing limbs.
if the illusion is strong enough (and the Nine-Tail would have the strongest illusions out of any fox spirit) then you could essentially fool an entire army into simply passing out from shock and/or paralyzing them from fear.
this makes the Nine-Tail Fruit ARGUABLY A Tier, given the sheer level of versatility in illusions and misdirection.
to further my theories, just go watch literally ANY magic show and watch how easily tricked humans are. and that's without supernatural powers. if a person could legitimately force the human brain to believe something was real, they could apply the Fruit's powers in MILLIONS of different ways even if their opponent already knows it's not real.
most people don't believe there are monsters hiding under their beds, or down the basement stairs. but i guarantee you have at least felt a slight chill or nervous twinge when you turn off the lights, and maybe you walk up the stairs slightly faster than you usually would.
that SAME type of miniscule doubt buried into the human subconscious, when fully weaponized, could become an incredibly dangerous power to fight against.

People are acting like Kaido started out as a fish rather than being an actual dragon as if any fruits have ever worked like that lmao. Most likely, the answer is a lot more simple than people think:
When naming Mythical Zoans, they are named after their "base" form, such as inu (dog) or hito (man). Even though Luffy's fruit is literally a god, it's called the "Hito-hito no mi". In no instance is the Zoan Fruit's "type" based on a mythical creature because they don't actually exist. In no instance has a Zoan Fruit been named after a creature that does not exist. Odds are, "fish" was chosen because out of all existing creatures, Seiryu is most similar to a fish. The type of "creature" the Zoan is is linked to the "Model", which more concretely describes what it is. Like Kaku's fruit, a Giraffe is not an ox, but it doesn't fit into any other large category, but the ox is close enough.
The only exception to this rule is for the Ancient Dinosaur Zoans, which are called dragons. I think by now though, everyone knows why they are referred to as dragons.

Marco's fruit isn't acting like a Logia, meaning that damage is passing through him. Instead he's actually getting hit, it's just that the flames regenerate the wounds at an extreme rate.
Only because most of his enemies at his levels have haki. If theres no haki it has properties of a flame logia.

Honestly Orochi's fruit should be a lot higher since in the myth its based the orochi had other powers besides just being a big snake. I feel it gets a bad rap just because its user is the one of the most useless characters in the series.
With stronger's fruit I would assume he has some sort of mythical healing ability, cause that's what unicorns are mostly known for which would be interesting since he seems to always be about to collapse

I would shift Yamato to A since a literal deity would tie it to the next deity on the list. Plus the design of it's beast form is extremely cool as well. Having an AA tier praising and working hard for your fruit is no small feat either. Being able to wear ice armour, conjure ice barriers, have increased strength and claws makes it a clear distinction from B and lower. Devon would be shifted to B purely based on potential. The rest can remain.
Plus, like Kuzan’s, it kinda negates the weakness to water.

Completely agree. That being said i want to say two things, let's remember that yamatos ice armor could withstand a thunder bagua in the head, and ice breath could stop kaido's alcoholic breath which evaporates mountains, just those two things would make it an S class fruit.
The second thing is the nika fruit when awakened like in the actual story which is "canonly real" not just hypothetical, is so broken that it should be an AAA class above S.

Yamato's fruit is not underrated. He's Kaido's son and spent his life training to become a warrior like Oden. That's where most of his strenght comes from, not the fruit.

I know this is pure speculation, but based off of Japanese mythology, the orochi fruit should in theory be really powerful. Except that the character, Orochi, probably never learnt to use it properly.
Also, as someone else have already pointed out, the phoenix fruit doesn't make Marco function like a logia, he does get damaged whenever hit (this was shown in the manga), it's just that he heals so fast that it takes a lot of damage before it starts showing.
Also also, foxes are canids, as in evolutionarily they are part of the same family as other canids like dogs and wolves. If you notice, the zoan fruits are classified according to their families, hence demonstrating that Oda knows his zoology.

The Yamata no Orochi probably has a lot of untapped potential. It's just that its user is probably one of the most worthless characters in the series. But if you think about it, the other two snake fruits are probably some of best regular zoan and this one takes that and multiplies it by eight. Not to forget the multiple lives and the massive form of the mythical Orochi and that fruit has the potential to be great.
Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the fruit had other unseen abilities like venomous fangs, hypnotic eyes, shedding skin for recovery, and other mythical qualities often associated with snakes. But even if it did, it would be impossible to know with such an inadequate user.
I have a theory that he missed one. Chopper's fruit has not had its model revealed. I believe, due to his "human" form's hairy scary appearance, that his fruit is the mythical bigfoot fruit. He has more transformations than any other zoan user we have seen, meaning it is special in some way. I know the rumble ball enhanced his powers, but he no longer needs the rumble ball to access all but one form, meaning they are natural forms that require more experience and training. Then again, it could be ancient but I doubt it. Bigfoot is more a myth.
I find it odd how Luffy is like the one Mythical Zoan that runs out of energy, when the abilities of nearly everyone else (Except Law) has unlimited energy. I couldn't give it an S when someone with the life force of Luffy is rendered an old, dying man after just minutes of taking Nika's form.

I really think Orochi's fruit is amazing (A tier I'd say) in terms of potential: 9 independently controlled head, deadly poison if I remember correctly, resistance to decapitation (and maybe other forms of death). As a bonus, it's quite terryfying in terms of appearance.

Perhaps Sengoku initially strived toward his rank of admiral in the Navy so he could have access to information regarding to and the return of Joy Boy (being aware of his existence via his devil fruit). But after the witnessing the fall of Ace during the Paramount War and Luffy's will to protect his brother,. Sengoku saw the truth of Luffy's character and that he was in fact the reincarnation of Joy Boy. This in turn leads Sengoku to resign from the Navy, as he doesn't wish to stand against what he knows to be the inheritor of Joy Boys will and a better future for the world.
