Rare to see something really good in sponsorships (no fault of the channels, that's just capitalism), but ugreen is different. While I haven't used ugreen power bricks, they do make quite good adapters, cables, docks and other peripherals in my experience.

I think Kaku's love for his giraffe powers is so funny. Not only did he apparently leave his swordstyle aside to focus on his fruit training, he is probably the devil fruit user who awakened his fruit the fastest after eating it, in less than two years. He loves giraffes THAT much.
well to be fair on him, his sword style already treated his legs as extra swords, and his devil fruit gave him two extra legs, so it's less that he abandoned his sword style, and more so he abandoned his literal swords …for his hands …probably not a fair trade.

Aramaki's sword skills haven't been shown yet, since he has a shirasaya. Big Mom has Napoleon as a sword, however it might not be considered a master swords-woman. Kizaru & Aokiji created blades with their DF, but they surely don't belong to this category. I'm genuinely curious and looking forward to the improvement of this ranking by looking better at all the swordsmen across the story & rate all of them at the end of it, just when we will have all the collected information to sort out this entertaining list.

I agree that Whitebeard's bisento isn't technically a sword, but it is ranked as a sword in the One Piece world! I think it's considered one of the 21 Great Grade swords if I remember correctly. I am extremely disappointed that you did not include Sanji in this ranking... His fight with Wanze definitely earns him a place on this list, even if he'd unavoidably end up in the Sword Fraud tier
The point is that Sanji's skills with blades are very good, even if he only uses them against food. He's objectively a strong combatant, so if he suddenly decided to use swords or knives in battle he'd be very high on the tier list.
Tashigi having observation Haki but being borderline blind without her glasses is, ridiculously hilarious... compared to Fujitora who is blind, and has greater awareness...
He laid out his criteria for what qualifies as a swordsman. I don't think General Franky would count. It's Franky using a robot. Either Dorry or Broggy uses an axe, so not sure if that counts. Helmeppo uses knives, so he's probably a sword fraud at best. Big Mom is a question mark, and I was wondering about Smoothie as well. I think marines like T Bone and Momonga were covered when he said something about there being few marine swordsmen of note.
I just wanted to say the more I think about it, Big Mom should qualify for this list. She has carried and used a sword for most of her life. And it's not like she's just flailing it around.

Not going to lie, I always tjought and still think that Diamante was really cool. His DF is one of the most versatile and fun I have seen in one piece, and although he didn't use it very well and he still wasn't much of a swordsman, it's sad to see people consider him dissapointing. Also, idk why viceadmirals were left out, but I guess nobody cares.
Vista was already a Whitebeard commander at the time, he had already progressed a considerable amount in his life already... the time skip would be more impactful for younger members who use the 2 year to progress towards their prime, Vista is already in his prime, but, we he still didn't perhaps show us everything he had, which is weird, considering whitebeard died, and at that point he'd be putting it all on the line... he was holding his own against Mihawk anyway, so who knows how comparable he actually is...
Law did fight Virgo without relying on his power until he got his heart. He also fought mingo and fujitora and i assume he wasnt just relying on his power since it drains him.

I really wish we could get a side arc, where they just go to a swordsman Esc island and this would primarily flash out Zorro and Brooke even more Zorro will turn his other two blades into black blades, and Brooke would get a sword that complement his soul manipulation hell even Shiruyu could add another sword, making him twice as bloodthirsty since he’s going to fight Zorro one day, and I may be the only one who thinks this, but I do think we need more swordsman Thank you for making this video
I have a few quibbles: Mostly in the firm of characters who didn't get ranked! 1) Cabaji, a unicycling heretic, undoubtedly, but he does wield a sword of some description and possesses some measure of skill with it. 2) kuro, more likely a sword fraud bjt the man has ten katana blades attached to his fingers in a horrifying prototype of Carrot's gloves. 3) Mr 11, the baroque works agent with an emphasis on swording who was defeated by Tashigi and had his named blade pilfered. 4) Sarquis, Bellamy's clot of a subordinate is apparently named after his focus of sharp metal. Though given that he is named after knives, he may very well be a failure of a swordsman. 5) Captain T-Bone, encountered on the way to Enies Lobby he challenged Zoro to a blade fight and did some things before being flung into the raging seas. 6) SPANDAM, this worthless waste of a human existence, actually owns a sword that he uses to defend himself. Admittedly, the sword is also an elephant, so maybe more of a fraud, but why would you pass up the chance to rag on Spandam? 7) Helmeppo. Is likely to Bogard as Coby is to Garp, wielding twin blades as his sole combative function. Whilst it might have changed in recent months the pre time skip showing wasn't the best for him against Zoro. 8) Dorry/Broggy: I forget which one used a sword but he did to great effdct against a contemporary wielding an axe for at least a century. Bigness isn't an advantage against the equally big. 9) Gecko Moria. Only briefly seen against Kaido, but he was charging in with sword in hand. 10) Lola. Again, a person only seen swording but shebhad power enough to make her shadow a zombie general aftwe it was filched by lizard boy above. 11) Saga/seven star sword. Movie entry here but given that it was the Zoro movie it might bear consideration. 12) Killer. First mate to Scrapheap Shanks is still capable of matching Zoro to a degree when given scythes to wield. There is no shortage of skill there. 13) king Rikku. You mentioned his grandaughter and son in law but not him? The swordsman who would not cut his opponent? 14) Maelstrom Squard. Patricide attempts aside he is a new world captain who achieved tamhat status with nojing but a blade as big as he is. 15) Pedro. The better cat themed swordbeing than Kuro should have been here. He wasn't seen without a sword, but his decision to use dynamite to secure the retreat might hurt his score here. 16) Linlin/Napolean. When aged hag uses her sword as a hat, or visa versa, there has to be some thought put towards the skill level. Maybe fraud, but the thought of lambasting any asoect if an emperors powerset is still funny to me Those are all the ones I can think of off of the top of my head. Can anyone else name others who should have been on the list?

They were perfectly in the right to put him forward for consideration. Also, I believe it's technically a Bisento for the record. As for Kuro? Ten sword blades on his gloves are still sword blades. If you have any substantive reasoning as to why I should not consider him a swordsman, then please do provide it. Otherwise, please keep opinions that boil down to 'I disagree so there' firmly ensconced within your mindbrain

I would like to add a new tier between "Superhuman" and "Pretty alright" called "Great swordsman" I would also move Kaku to superhuman and put him under Kyros and move Koshiro to "Big if true" Also if we ignore the spirit of a swordsman i would like to welcome some frauds on to the rest of the list. I would put Diamante and Ohm on "Great swordsman", Hawkins on "Superhuman" and King and Law on "World class". The Zoro fakes remain in fraud. And then I would like to welcome a few forgotten swordsmen that I am sad to not even have been mentioned on this list. I'm of course talking about Baron tamago, Pedro and the great fishman, Overflowing Sasaki who I'd all place in "Superhuman" and then last but not least: Crab hand Gyro who will be placed in "Soon to be Worlds Greatest"

Strongest Human Drill 100x > Hihimaru. Hihimaru loses to Alpacaman. Elbaf should have Yasopp's evil older brother(Basopp) at the same level as Kaido or Big Mom could go there. Big Mom didn't try to attack Elbaf either because of Shanks or Basopp. It is not because of Odin, Thor or Loki.
I feel like Kyros should have been in world class considering the scabbards are in world class. But on a more basic level, even though I understand why you grouped all the scabbards into one, their skill level differs wildly with Denjiro being a way more powerful swordsman than Kiku or Raizo

This might be random, but remember when Blackbeard and his crew had some setup with the Navy for a Warship and they had Bonney tied up. The Marines sent Akinau which caught Blackbeard by surprise. Funny moment, but now in hindsight seems super important considering everything that just happened in Egghead
I think everybody following got that. Now we know why Akainu told Bonney it sent a chill down his spine when he heard she had escaped. It was because they were holding her hostage to keep Kuma under their control.
My question is this: Bonney was sailing for over 2 years before pre time skip Saobboady. There was a bounty on her. I wonder if Kuma ever knew she got free and if so why he still followed the agreement. You'd think he would have dropped everything to go find her.

Once again making a case for Law being a high level swordsman. People tend to think that his DF “taints” his swordsmanship, when the reality is that all of his powers are based around his swordplay. His sword isn’t just a “tool for his gimmick,” he actually isn’t as effective without it, to the point where I don’t think we’ve ever even seen him throw a punch in a fight. I think the reluctance to call him a swordsman comes from the fact that he doesn’t slice people in the traditional way, instead using his power to spare them, but that doesn’t really take away from his skill with the blade.
Shanks clash with whitebeard and didn't get knocked back like oden did against roger. Whitebeard can go equal with roger. Mihawk can duel with shanks i assume equally, so i think oden is weaker than mihawk.

I agree that Whitebeard's bisento isn't technically a sword, but it is ranked as a sword in the One Piece world! I think it's considered one of the 21 Great Grade swords if I remember correctly.

I am extremely disappointed that you did not include Sanji in this ranking... His fight with Wanze definitely earns him a place on this list, even if he'd unavoidably end up in the Sword Fraud tier

The point is that Sanji's skills with blades are very good, even if he only uses them against food. He's objectively a strong combatant, so if he suddenly decided to use swords or knives in battle he'd be very high on the tier list.

He laid out his criteria for what qualifies as a swordsman. I don't think General Franky would count. It's Franky using a robot. Either Dorry or Broggy uses an axe, so not sure if that counts. Helmeppo uses knives, so he's probably a sword fraud at best. Big Mom is a question mark, and I was wondering about Smoothie as well. I think marines like T Bone and Momonga were covered when he said something about there being few marine swordsmen of note.
I just wanted to say the more I think about it, Big Mom should qualify for this list. She has carried and used a sword for most of her life. And it's not like she's just flailing it around.

Someone said that one of oda's 'miss' is that there is seems to be no one aiming for the world strongest swordsman other than zoro or mihawk (maybe vista?), one explanation can be that mihawk is so strong that a lot of swordsman is discouraged to chase the title, wano is also i think a missed opportunity for introduction of a character that is sort of a lesser rival to zoro like how kid to luffy

Not going to lie, I always tjought and still think that Diamante was really cool. His DF is one of the most versatile and fun I have seen in one piece, and although he didn't use it very well and he still wasn't much of a swordsman, it's sad to see people consider him dissapointing.
Also, idk why viceadmirals were left out, but I guess nobody cares.
Vista was already a Whitebeard commander at the time, he had already progressed a considerable amount in his life already... the time skip would be more impactful for younger members who use the 2 year to progress towards their prime, Vista is already in his prime, but, we he still didn't perhaps show us everything he had, which is weird, considering whitebeard died, and at that point he'd be putting it all on the line... he was holding his own against Mihawk anyway, so who knows how comparable he actually is...
Law did fight Virgo without relying on his power until he got his heart. He also fought mingo and fujitora and i assume he wasnt just relying on his power since it drains him.

I really wish we could get a side arc, where they just go to a swordsman Esc island and this would primarily flash out Zorro and Brooke even more Zorro will turn his other two blades into black blades, and Brooke would get a sword that complement his soul manipulation hell even Shiruyu could add another sword, making him twice as bloodthirsty since he’s going to fight Zorro one day, and I may be the only one who thinks this, but I do think we need more swordsman

I have a few quibbles:
Mostly in the firm of characters who didn't get ranked!
1) Cabaji, a unicycling heretic, undoubtedly, but he does wield a sword of some description and possesses some measure of skill with it.
2) kuro, more likely a sword fraud bjt the man has ten katana blades attached to his fingers in a horrifying prototype of Carrot's gloves.
3) Mr 11, the baroque works agent with an emphasis on swording who was defeated by Tashigi and had his named blade pilfered.
4) Sarquis, Bellamy's clot of a subordinate is apparently named after his focus of sharp metal. Though given that he is named after knives, he may very well be a failure of a swordsman.
5) Captain T-Bone, encountered on the way to Enies Lobby he challenged Zoro to a blade fight and did some things before being flung into the raging seas.
6) SPANDAM, this worthless waste of a human existence, actually owns a sword that he uses to defend himself. Admittedly, the sword is also an elephant, so maybe more of a fraud, but why would you pass up the chance to rag on Spandam?
7) Helmeppo. Is likely to Bogard as Coby is to Garp, wielding twin blades as his sole combative function. Whilst it might have changed in recent months the pre time skip showing wasn't the best for him against Zoro.
8) Dorry/Broggy: I forget which one used a sword but he did to great effdct against a contemporary wielding an axe for at least a century. Bigness isn't an advantage against the equally big.
9) Gecko Moria. Only briefly seen against Kaido, but he was charging in with sword in hand.
10) Lola. Again, a person only seen swording but shebhad power enough to make her shadow a zombie general aftwe it was filched by lizard boy above.
11) Saga/seven star sword. Movie entry here but given that it was the Zoro movie it might bear consideration.
12) Killer. First mate to Scrapheap Shanks is still capable of matching Zoro to a degree when given scythes to wield. There is no shortage of skill there.
13) king Rikku. You mentioned his grandaughter and son in law but not him? The swordsman who would not cut his opponent?
14) Maelstrom Squard. Patricide attempts aside he is a new world captain who achieved tamhat status with nojing but a blade as big as he is.
15) Pedro. The better cat themed swordbeing than Kuro should have been here. He wasn't seen without a sword, but his decision to use dynamite to secure the retreat might hurt his score here.
16) Linlin/Napolean. When aged hag uses her sword as a hat, or visa versa, there has to be some thought put towards the skill level. Maybe fraud, but the thought of lambasting any asoect if an emperors powerset is still funny to me
Those are all the ones I can think of off of the top of my head. Can anyone else name others who should have been on the list?
I think whitebeard deserves to be in the list if linlin gets in the list considering whitebeard has one of the 12 supreme grade swords

Also if we ignore the spirit of a swordsman i would like to welcome some frauds on to the rest of the list. I would put Diamante and Ohm on "Great swordsman", Hawkins on "Superhuman" and King and Law on "World class". The Zoro fakes remain in fraud.
And then I would like to welcome a few forgotten swordsmen that I am sad to not even have been mentioned on this list. I'm of course talking about Baron tamago, Pedro and the great fishman, Overflowing Sasaki who I'd all place in "Superhuman" and then last but not least: Crab hand Gyro who will be placed in "Soon to be Worlds Greatest"

Strongest Human Drill 100x > Hihimaru. Hihimaru loses to Alpacaman. Elbaf should have Yasopp's evil older brother(Basopp) at the same level as Kaido or Big Mom could go there. Big Mom didn't try to attack Elbaf either because of Shanks or Basopp. It is not because of Odin, Thor or Loki.
I feel like Kyros should have been in world class considering the scabbards are in world class. But on a more basic level, even though I understand why you grouped all the scabbards into one, their skill level differs wildly with Denjiro being a way more powerful swordsman than Kiku or Raizo

This might be random, but remember when Blackbeard and his crew had some setup with the Navy for a Warship and they had Bonney tied up. The Marines sent Akinau which caught Blackbeard by surprise. Funny moment, but now in hindsight seems super important considering everything that just happened in Egghead
I think everybody following got that. Now we know why Akainu told Bonney it sent a chill down his spine when he heard she had escaped. It was because they were holding her hostage to keep Kuma under their control.
My question is this: Bonney was sailing for over 2 years before pre time skip Saobboady. There was a bounty on her. I wonder if Kuma ever knew she got free and if so why he still followed the agreement. You'd think he would have dropped everything to go find her.

Once again making a case for Law being a high level swordsman. People tend to think that his DF “taints” his swordsmanship, when the reality is that all of his powers are based around his swordplay. His sword isn’t just a “tool for his gimmick,” he actually isn’t as effective without it, to the point where I don’t think we’ve ever even seen him throw a punch in a fight. I think the reluctance to call him a swordsman comes from the fact that he doesn’t slice people in the traditional way, instead using his power to spare them, but that doesn’t really take away from his skill with the blade.
Shanks clash with whitebeard and didn't get knocked back like oden did against roger. Whitebeard can go equal with roger. Mihawk can duel with shanks i assume equally, so i think oden is weaker than mihawk.
