My lawn is so much better since I have been watching your videos - cheers!
Stunning
All the hard work all the content and when I watch a lawn looking as good as this with them brilliant machines wow it the icing on the cake fantastic
Looks amazing.
Knowledge is power 🙏
Your video just popped up when I was sitting on my terrace watching my lawn being watered😂. I know I should do it in the morning, but I don't have the time. Thx for the videos and keep on mowing.
Great content…… I’ve learnt loads from these films. As far as the weather goes here……. Roasting hot in Ireland would you believe. No rain for 2 weeks. Watering daily. Looking good.
Cheers
Dave
No rain down south for about 3.5 weeks. Did my first ever rennovation 30th April having watched your stuff and LawnRight Lawn Care. Turned out pretty decent.
Check the lawn next door. OH DEAR ! Great job Dan
Drizzled this morning first time in weeks .. heard it could be another hot one this year ... 😮😮
15-20 degrees here in Stockholm. Only been tiny amounts of rain these past few weeks, but the sun hasn't been so strong that lawns have dried out yet
Thanks Daniel, great tips on how to maintain lawns but I've love to know the difference between detatching and vertical cutting, when should we use both options?. Thanks for the great support.
No rain here in Germany, also. Cutting, leaving it a little bit longer. Can’t get your products here, so winging it with what I can find locally, attempting to follow your best practice. Keep up the good work!
no rain since 3-4 weeks, was the best lawn i had in march/april, now i'm getting severe dry spot .. i'm watering 5mm every 3 times a week. and still keeping my care like watering agent and stuff...
Can you please do a video on watering, thanks! Great vids
Be nice to see a video of your own lawns!!
Regarding watering, I have been using one of the up, over and down sprayers then let it repeat for 10 mins approx, the spray is light mimicking real rain so not causing puddles ! depending on which lawn I move the sprayer to ensure full coverage, in Shropshire 2 weeks of dry and hot weather, today a little cloudy and cooler but forecast is for the dry hot weather returning.
I was directed to your channel by my brother who has a very nice lawn. Binged loads of videos and went for it, bought a scarifier and did a scalp and top dress in April, lawn was seed grown, on a new build clay and rubble base (I didn't know better) 5 years ago and was struggling. With some care and attention it's looking 10 times better than last year. We've had lots of sun but 1 day of torrential rain, followed by more sun so growth is strong.
Keep up the great work and sharing your amazing achievements in these tough conditions. 💪
Thanks for watching

Hi Daniel i have killed off my old lawn and put 3in of good quality top soil all over and levered it off all over. My question is what grass seed would you recommend? Also how would you water it before and after the seeding
Lot of lawn channels talk a good game but very few seem to have lawns like Daniel
Yep i agree, name me a better results channel
No rain here also in SE Essex just sunshine and a nagging NE wind !
Dont mention that wind i hate it
Hot and sunny here in Belfast Northern Ireland
Had that at 9 seconds
Good on ya Dan x
I had 10 on my camera slide
Watering correctly at the correct angle is more crucial than people may think. Good that you got that in there pal👍
Great lawn as usual. Dan, I have not seen a video explaining when grass seeds. I have KBG and every year at this time, even at 1 1/2 inch (38 mm), the grass seeds and it looks like a weed. What could be the reason for that? Would help to mow it from the beginning of the season shorter? I just got a proper reel mower so planning on doing that soon once the seeding stops. I am in Canada, so the weather is different that that for UK. Also, and unfortunately, I can get the products you use. I suppose there are equivalent ones and try to manage that. Thanks,
No rain in Merseyside, so put some H2GO on Sunday and Steller on Monday. Watering every evening with the hose. Also using the watering can each morning on the bare patches I've added extra seed onto
Good man
this channel keeps making me want to buy an allett, the quality of cut, and the different cartridges are amazing, but my lawn is simply too small to justify the price. Any suggestions on something cordless and cheaper that will offer a quality verticut?
You sure work on some very expensive properties Daniel (and to be fair some much smaller lawns) but the proof is in the pudding so to speak
Watering at 06:30 and 14:30 for 20 mins each day. Growth is great, going to add some iron for a deep green colour.
DANIEL can't seem to be able to buy Barenbrug grass seed cam you advise also watching your fantastic lawns is it OK to scarifier at any time of year
Thanks for any help
Ps your are the best.
No rain for 4 weeks in the SW of England and a hosepipe ban🤬fighting a lost cause😢rain badly needed🙏🏻
The whole week has been bloody cold and miserable here in not so sunny Lincolnshire..
What’s the little creature running towards the light in the driveway @10:18 ?? 😂
Fury got up quicker than that cartridge change! Seriously though, great mower and another knock out video.
I know it was sluggish but not had much practice im going to hone it down to
What grass seed do u use? And do you lay top soil on top of the seed?
Hi all,
Apart from Allett and Swardman is there other brand/ make with interchangeable cartridges? These two are quite costly!
what is the best height to keep your grass at
Hey mate love the videos.
Can’t you get fungicides in the uk at all?
Over here in nz my bowling greens would go under pretty quickly without them
You can yes but not domestically , you used be able to but they all been taken off now, can still treat professionally though
Ps. See if you can get an Allett referral scheme thing for next year. I wonder how many you've influenced so far? I'll probably get one.
I've been looking in the second hand market!
Looks amazing! How often would you recommend verticutting?
Once a month at least
Well glad I have been watering correctly. If on a smaller budget would airaton with a folk help?
I dont think so but you can do it no harm will come,
When should you verticut?
When should you scarify?
What exactly did you feed it with?
Would once a month with a fixed blade scarifier Eliet401 (like your old trusty Alko) be OK to keep lawn healthy?
Yeah
Does anyone know the make of the sprinkler in this video and where I could buy one?
Gardena oscilating
Dan, I done a weed n feed 2 weeks ago and since then it's became a rain-free heatwave in South West Scotland. I've been watering daily and the lawns ready to be raked out now, given the current heat stress would I be better with the fixed scarifier blades or the spring tine rake attachment?
Cheers
Whichever you want
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert cheers mate
You're still putting sow-pro on at that stage then Dan. I thought it said only on new shoots on the bottle. How long should I be putting it own for? grace and Orbit says every 2 weeks. Should I just keep putting it in with them?
That lawn looks mint by the way. Mine's nothing like that at 4 weeks.
Cheers bud
Says also on bottle during periods of stress ie drought, just whilst its stressed if theres no stress dont put it on but no harm will come if you do
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert Yes it does. I've been giving it plenty of water. If it's still dry when the next Garage and Orbit is due, I'll chuck it in. Thanks mate!
Hi Dan, do you ever use a ten blade cassette on the dwarf rye?
Once and it bruised it so never again
Hmm, bought one for my Suffock Punch would you not recommend?
Hi, why did you say you didn’t want to out any product on containing iron at the moment?
Just wont help the droughty areas
I don’t have a verticutter, too expensive. I have a scarifier with a power rake cartridge (no verticutter blade option): could I use the power rake instead for this job? Cheers
Yeah sure
I have a power rake as well from Ryan Ren O thin brand, it's old (1987) it works.
Can I use the power rake as a scarifier also by going deeper?
Must be stressful having to keep on top of watering and you must have flexible clients because how can you price for watering when the weathers so unpredictable
Your “looks alright” lawn is better than most people can dream of, best on UA-cam by a mile
Lol yeah i know i do set to higher standard for myself
Hi I'm just wondering where are you base at or can you come to Leeds?
No the vids are not adverts for my services
What the hell was that moving at 10:12? 😂
With all the dry weather is it too late to overseed a lawn now?
If your not prepared to water wait to time with rain, but if prepared to water no problem
Do you still get side shoots on 100% ryegrass?
Yeah deffo but not stoloniferous growth or rhizomatous growth just tillers
Hi Dan
What’s in the stellar /sow pro and Grace ? I own a nutrient brand and if I can ever help you out with fertilisers just reach out
But your have more experience with turf management and would be helpful to know what each product consists of ?
I’m semi retiring over next few months but will still retain control of some of the bizz
I have your galactic green 👍
Hi did we not speak few years ago about this? These ferts i have now are top secret mate so much so i dont know how they are made so theres nothing i can do re letting you know whats in them even if i wanted too, obviously whats on the label is on them but its the way they are put together is top secret
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert No I’ve never approached you before about them Dan
My curiosity is not for gain as I have a very successful biz and taking a back seat but more for personal gain with my garden because I’m very good at what I do but been following your work for 14 mths now learning about turf management for a hobby really.
Just thought I could help you out 👍
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert Thanks for the reply and all the great tips with my lawns pal..Look forward to every upload

Praying for rain in Devon🙏🏻
Are you given your Allett mowers
No bought them
What make is your sprayer , mine is rubbish.
Berthoud valmoral
DHLE sponsored by Allett
No machine, what's the alternative
Not sure really never thought about that one having ways had a machine, some things i just dont have an answer for and this is one of them,
Is this Bermuda?
No rye
Don’t panick - breathe with your diaphragm, all will be good, one sunny day you will reach the 10 sec. mark 🙋🏻♂️
neither, less lawns, more food forests and gardens
Hi I hope your lawn mower lasts longer than mine same model. I waited months for it then it only lasted three cuts. The motor gave up. For the money I was horrified not fit for purpose. I got my money back. Not happy with the customer service. This was the biggest waste of my time.
Sorry to hear that i doubt allett customer service was rubbish more the dealer no?
Yes it was, I bought direct, it started with a fast charger that I paid the extra for and was sent the standard one, it was only by luck I found out in time. My emails were ignored and it took a long time to return it took me a day to rebox it and send everything back, not impressed at all. I am sure that they treat you differently.
