I strained my quad last week and ignored it and it ended up getting worse. This was very helpful! Just one question though, how much tension should be applied to the first part?
The newer version will stay on better and provide better support.

@Athlete1990 i've been injured too much, and I can't stand being in the sidelines. I've pulled it since that time twice and then sat out. Now I just pulled my hamstring, and I'm playing through it.
It depends on the severity of the injury. Generally 6-8 weeks.

what is the base of the second technique? if we think that tape is paralell to streght lines of cuadriceps?
I have purchased the blue, cotton kt tape and I was wondering whether I should use the I strip for my strained quad or shall I create a y strip to apply on my Quadricep? Also shall I use the method you used in this video or the one you used in the other quad video. Thank You

Do you have to cut the strips to get the "Y?" And if it comes that way, which one is it? Searching on amazon and don't see one like this.
Yea it depends on which one of you buy but if it doesn’t come already cut then you cut it about 3/4 of the way down

Yes. Once injured you need to ice and rest the muscle. You could have hurt it more (strained it more)

I followed your instruction and used the KT tape today during a soccer game on my quad strain. When I sprinted full speed, i pulled my quad strain again, is that normal?
do not sprint with a pulled quad
