    Hello, I am the developer of this add-on. You can fly the aircraft unpressurized, but you must follow the checklist to set the AC to ventilation mode. The alert system is very annoying, just like the real aircraft you must configure the aircraft correctly to avoid triggering the alert system. The pax's window shades and armrests are animated, but only in the cockpit camera view. When you are in external view, the sim disables mouse click points. The weather radar is functional, but it is limited by the API, it will show the clouds with rain, but the tilt function is not implemented. Sorry if I wrote something wrong, English is not my native language. Thank you for the video.

    When I first saw this I thought 'Oh goodie, I've been looking to upgrade my EMB-110". Then I realized it wasn't the EMB-120. DANG! Wanting to add a larger commuter turboprop (less than 50 seats) to my Caribbean/South American routes. We're a small company so ATRs aren't really in our budget at this time. 😉

    Great video again AV thanks. If you think about where the plane was developed irl and being a 7 seater was probably meant for work in the Andes mountains the high climb rate, high power, high ceiling (I expect) would all be desirable for this aircraft but (there is always one of these) this comes at the cost of high fuel consumption. Looks to be a nice fun mountain flyer.

    • @ShurikJR
      @ShurikJR Рік тому

      The xingu is underpowered. In cold temperature the performances are ok but when the temperature rises over 20 degrees, serious shit is starting 🤣 You can’t board the 7 passengers with high temperatures because the plane cannot comply with climb gradients and one engine inoperative performances required 😢

    That power cycling (and therefore the warning system activating every few minutes) was probably happening because your physical battery switch was on, but the battery switch in the plane wasn’t. I find that happens with some planes that don’t sync my physical and in-sim switches, so I just make sure both my physical switch and the switch in the plane are on

      @@FlightSimVRDad Presumably using VR? I just started using Quest 3. Cheap and best bang for the buck. It's the next level for flight simmers. Nothing compares to VR in MSFS when it comes to good situational awareness and the feeling of crampness one gets in aircraft cockpits.
      I love Realair's version of the Dukes and the Lancair.

    • @FlightSimVRDad
      @FlightSimVRDad 5 місяців тому +1

      @@ggjjabc I flew VR for about a year and still do on occasion. I use TrackIR for my content for a couple reasons. First, it is easier to capture the video and second is because of what gets dropped to keep frame rate. I use the HP Reverb G2 when I go VR. One major reason I like TrackIR is when I need to adjust a control I don’t have to lift and look for the lever or switch. I have been cutting my teeth in Radials lately, twin beech, caribou and the Dakota have been keeping me busy.

    Interesting little thing, this. I agree that it gives off turbine duke vibes. It has to be said though, 200 knots for something that small with engines that big really is surprisingly feeble, especially considering that it also doesn't have much range.
    Also, you call it a heathen? You dare!? You, who angered it's machine spirit by not following the sacred scriptures of the checklist? You should repent and bear it's righteous beepy fury! :p
