Sounds like there was a seatbelt fault. The ride automatically returns to load when that happens. Sometimes this can cause a projector fault which could explain why they had problems starting up again. I’ve had a couple breakdowns on Hyperspace Mountain in Disneyland. One time we even had to walk out. Something went wrong on Soaring at DCA, sounded like a valve blowing, but pretty much all that happened was the seats stopped moving during the “movie” and then the return to the ground was a bit faster than usual.
haha I love getting stuck too...not for a long time, because then it's just plain boring, but the fact that something isn't going as planned, and you're in the middle of it....idk, it's like a secret thrill! haha ...of course if I was upside down on a coaster and it got stuck.....THEN I would hate that...
i went this ride am 11 years old and i always try to look at the secrets of the rides i found one out... it was when you go on the ride and when it starts you look down and your high.. really high. if you shoes fall off good luck getting it
@mcrfreek89 I don't think that happens because it doesn't have breaks on a loop; if the ride breaks down and you're on the loop, it would make you go through the loop and once that part would be over, then you'd be put in a halt. =)
Out passes were good till the end of the month as well. But I guess at Epcot the only ride that really needs the pass IS Sorain' (Test Track maybe.. But that has a singles line)
@KaTieZCrAZyCasTZ hahaa, it is rather relaxing, but after 25 mins id probs be pulling my hair out xD its not just this though, i just cant deal with music being repeated loads xD
That wouldn't have happend at the Disneyland Resort :P And why do they even have Soarin' over (Key Word : California). Not Florida! They should have just kept it at DLR.

The same thing happened to me at disneyland Califorinia. Except it was for 10 min and there was no music

This happened to me except I was at the highest point, so we were like 25-30 feet off the ground with only seatbelts preventing us from falling ^_^'.

that breakdown seemed to have happened to star tours. apparently something reset and caused the screen to black out.
@CanobieFan If your speaking of fast pass' Soarin' does have them. I went this year. Test Track does as well.

I didn't take any video until after the ride "ended" and at that point there wasn't much they could do.
