Those BM stainless factory exhausts are made really nice.
Two extra catalytic converters i believe (cat 3 and 4) compared to the replacement.

The piggy back will still void warranty if anything breaks. They just plug in the ecu reader and it’ll show it was making more boost and timing to factor and boom warranty gone

Using wider tyres on the OEM wheels is not a good idea. The tyre shoulder may not get enough support from the inner metal wheel, thus less grip than what it is designed to be. And the tyre wear will be uneven across the surface. Better to get wider wheels or just stick with OEM tyre width. From what I have seen in the past, even just 1 size wider wheel with the same width tyre may get better corner speed because of extra shoulder support during cornering

Stock wheels (9J + 10J) are too narrow for a 275/295 setup, you will get much better results on stock sizes RE71RS. One 23 Supra 6MT did a 1:42.5 at SMSP on RE71RS, stock power and no aero, just lowered springs and pads, fluids.

@@MotiveVideoso just get it unlocked by Femto like the rest of us manual Supra owners and then literally do what the rest of us manual owners are doing and then tune with BM3 or MHD. It’s already been known from the community that piggybacks + manual haven’t been having stellar results.
Also the choice for a 295/30 in back is stupid. Shorter tire, more wheel gap. I’m running a 305/35 in back and per GPS is 100% dead accurate at 85mph. As in, improved accuracy. Meanwhile your Speedo is way off with those undersized tires.
Some seriously bad choices already going into this build. Don’t understand why you aren’t doing a catted 400 cell GESI downpipe, plenty available and plenty compliant.
I feel you guys have done zero research in doing anything right here.
For the price of the titanium catback that did nothing and the piggyback that is 100% going to give you overboosting between shifts, you’d have been able to get a catted downpipe and 3.5” catback which both combined would have given you solid gains even untuned. Especially if the shop took ten minutes and a welder to remove the factory connection neck down for a 3.5” connection.
Then you’d have been able to use that leftover money not spent on the exhaust choice and the piggyback to send the ECU to Finland for unlock. Turn-around is only a week. Then you’d be ready for a real tune and real power.
It’s a shame people are going to watch this video and get the wrong impression and follow a poorly executed build path because no research or game plan was laid out.
