I've had success using the watering spikes. I now have two generations of Long Fin Albino Bristlenose Plecos in my 20Long. About 120 strong right now. They are about a Month and a half apart. Hopefully I can get the LFS to buy some of them. Thanks for the video.
The multi holed ones will be great for synodontis, loaches and shrimp. For the shrimp especially, root some Java fern or moss in the small holes. Nice caves. I think I need to go shopping...
Have you tried the "CORRIGATED PIPE" that are on vacuum cleaners or can buy the black corrigated pipe that is used on pond filter systems that come in various widths about £6 or less per 3ft! 6x6" caves out of 3ft corrigated pipe = £1 per cave! Dirt cheap! They don't rot in water because they are for pond filter systems. You can cut to whatever size you need. All the pooh just drops into the corrigation of the pipe out of the way of the fish! Easy to cut with a STANLEY KNIFE or CRAFT BLADE!
We just got a pleco, a 4 inch Green Phantom. What size cave would he need? Also it seems to me, that it would be hard for him to turn around in it, unless he backs in.
Hi, I have 4 green phantoms and trying to get them to spawn. Should i leave no other option but to hide in caves, or should i keep a lot of driftwood in the tank. thanks
Full grown love a 1.5” entrance! All those caves will work Check out our wooden pleco caves. They are really great for the fry do to all the biofilm that grows on them for the fry to rasp on! Nice video, dropped ya a like👍🏻
I would consider that grey Rock with the three holes more of a decoration functioning cave because it has other smaller caves that go with it that are designed to be stacked up which let's face ityou never see three gradually sized rocks stacked on top of each other like a pyramid in nature
I know I’ll probably get trolled for this but I can’t help it, my female gutter level brain looks at the round ended caves @4:44 & @13:24 and the last thing I am thinking of while looking at them is fish! Mind you I can see why the Plecco’s would enjoy breeding in them! ☺️🤦♀️😂🤣
Same...looks like a mold of a penis...I do think it was fashioned after the phallic symbol. Honestly I don't think my plecos would like it and I would not be able to look at what looks like some guys junk in my fish tank all the time...yuck. Sorry, just my opinion, do with it what you will. Ok...so I just checked out the 4:44 referenced and yes...some guy used his penis to make that cave...I also think the "scape log" at 6:31 is also someones penis...LMAO!! I do think it is funny AF but I would not use the caves...sorry again.

How To Keep and Breed Bristlenose Plecos: ua-cam.com/video/YO4kUhGgrho/v-deo.html
I use PVC pipe with a cap on one end for my albino bristle nose. cheap and it works.
I’ve got a few different caves too. By far, the cave with the round opening and tapered end work the best

Boom! I got a small one for my new Peacock Gudgeons! Saved $2.20 using your link. Woot woot!
I have had success with the smaller version of the watering spike
Nice video. It was really great to meet you at the TBAS auction.
It was nice meeting you and your daughter also
So glad you are getting some opportunities. Folk are seeing the great work you are doing and hopefully this will be cost effective.
Thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing more
Very interesting, Thx 👍.
How do you breed exodon tetras man.
Just got these caves at LFS was wondering if you have had any spawning activity in yours yet

Um, would the breeding cave fit inside some of the larger caves? Or could the breeding cave be set adjacent to an opening?
Oh this is cool

The small cave that He opened first.
Tiny little things.
