Must be nice to be in country where all of the sudden you can go out on drive and drive a 911 up to 221mph.
They have REAL highways, well maintained, no holes, no ruts, no uneven sections, no trash piled up in the shoulders! the U.S. have 3rd world interstates, that are horrible, artificial speed limits, and crap roads, and worse drivers, idiots do 55 in left lane, and watch cars go by, on the right, and they think they are driving correctly!
Plenty of people in Germany want to abolish those roads, restrict traffic to 120 and alltogether get rid of our car culture :( They are fools. Yes not every stretch of road needs to be unrestricted but wanting to abolish unrestricted autobahns is about as culturally sensable as telling a Chinese person to tear down their Great Wall. It should be a source of pride for Germans. I've lived abroad for 10yrs now (as German national) and found that all countries envy German roads, so why do some idiots in Germany want to get rid of them?? I've been to UK, NZ, Indonesia, and Japan and they all love our Autobahns back home.
cengeb: I've driven on autobahns while visiting and let me tell you, traffic over there is so congested at times ! Never did 221, but way north of a 100 pretty much on every one of my joy rides and drives on our domestic freeways and highways. And will take an unclogged vast open stretches of American highways over autobahn any day. A little unevenness in pavement, well...take it as a test of your driving skill, lol
I got to 123 mph in the Audi A6 S line TDI, I felt safer driving there at 100mph than 75 with the morons that drive here, 55 in left lane, ruts pot holes debris, our roads suck, German roads are pristine, find the unlimited areas, they have speed restrictions in many, then when it opens up, let it rip, I didn't see one cop hiding in the bushes in over a week of travels, everyone use blinkers, didn't stay in left lane, got pasted by a Porsche and VW GOLF when I was in center lane I was doing like 85 90 got pasted like I was standing still, all LEGAL, it's Great, our roads suck, squared, I spend everyday on the interstates, they are garbage, dirty, debris, clogged with idiots that don't know what a high speed merge is, or what pass left stay right means
Traveling high speeds on perfect roads is a CIVIL LIBERTY, they can't ever get rid of the great roads....you would wind up like the U.S. with holes, ruts, mis aligned sections, lines never repainted, trucks in middle lane doing 40mph! The trucks where all in the right lane! It was GREAT. They invented the interstate, which is what Eisenhower copied, after he seen how great it was, our RT 95 and RT80, copies, yet a piss poor never maintained copy...here there are artificially low limits on roads than can do 70+ as Pa TPK finally did, nj tpk at 65 is just a revenue excuse for cops to steal money, and an excuse to stop anyone for no reason, other than traveling at a comfortable conditions allow speeds, 65 is absurd in 2017. Just read an article a Michigan State cop head dude says raise the limits, too slow is more dangerous, it lulls you to sleep, higher speeds ya wake up and pay attention.

Incredible how fast this car shifts...Porsche is just amazing on every aspect, with only 700hp and track focused car they still can achieve 0 - 300 kmh in 20 Seconds...

Hab dat Dingens wieder verkauft. Die nervige Windgeräusche ab 320km/h waren mir und meiner Oma auf längeren Ausflügen auf Dauer doch zu nervig. Ausserdem gibts keine Winterreifen die bis über 350km/h freigegeben sind. Wir beide fahren jetzt wieder Prius. Der ist schön leise.

Top speed is electronically limited to 340km/h, only because the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber isn’t designed for more. Seventh gear can theoretically do 370km/h, although admits that aerodynamics will slow things somewhere in the 350s.

It didn't even reach the rev limiter in 7th gear yet it still hut 221 mph. Theres more speed waiting to be unlocked from this car. Incredible. Is there a dash cam view of this run. It must've looked epic
It doesn't have to be at rev limiter, it has peak power in certain RPMs, maybe at 6500 rpm, it's not always at the redline.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS (991.2) is the fastest Porsche road car ever, not the 918 Spyder, and that does make little sense. However, the 918 with only 608 hp from its gas engine and more weight vs the 911’s 700 hp gas engine and less weight.
And the speedometer on this thing goes to 248 mph (400 km/h) or 250 mph (402 km/h) in imperial markets.

Porsche kommt einfach mal wieder mit einem unschlagbaren Killer😎der Lamborghini Performantewar sowohl auf der Nordschleife wie auch auf dem Nürburgring der schnellste Supersportler.Dan kommt der GT2 RS und drückt dem Lambo 2 sek auf????Ich meine wie Chancenlos der Rest der Konkurenz ist kann man sich ausrechnen😎
2 sekunden? Auf der NoS waren es 5 sekunden. 6:47 zu 6:52. Bzw nimmt man den MR, sind es jetzt sogar 12 sekunden auf den Huracan. Auf den SVJ hat der MR jetzt knapp 4 Sekunden gut gemacht.
