His excitement when he says he’d choose the GT2 RS is so raw and pure. The way he exclaims, “I love this car!” is so genuine and honest. You can feel his emotion come through the screen. I keep coming back to this review every month or so. Love it!
First the latest _GT3 RS,_ then that new Singer Porsche, and now this - the _GT2 RS._ Never really been a Porsche fan, but I need these in my garage. *All* of them. Someday.
What makes your videos special is that the way you capture the frames go hand in hand with the way you present it. You show everything a petrolhead wants to see of a car, the angles, the bodylines, the wheels, then the engines, the interior, the feel of driving it, the exhaust note, and even all the way down to the 'resonance' of the car. My favorite video of yours was the manual GT3 review, and after that watching this, you have met the same expectations. Loved the work all of you guys have done and keep it coming. With love, from a fellow petrolhead.
Undeniably one of the finest road cars ever, and I think the best video I've yet seen on it. Tremendous stuff here. Every shot was gorgeous and Henry is a truly outstanding presenter. I really think Carfection is the new gold standard for automotive journalism.
They are absolutely the best two out there, difficult to say which for me is better, just that Henry absolutely nails every review on carfection - motoring journalism at its very finest
Both good but I'd lean towards Catchpole since Harris has become a pantomime character with Joey from Friends on top Gear. I'm sure the money makes the selling out worth it for him though...
I always knew that the GT2 RS was an awesome car, and Henry a fantastic road tester, but really, that car and that road, the way they attacked it, I'm hugely impressed.
I absolutely love this video review and have watched it many times .... the colour Miami Blue really does change in the light and that's what I like about this video.. I have now booked my MGTF into the paint shop to have a colour change .... I cant wait to see how it looks ..:)
I love you so much Henry Catchpole, you are such an amazing car journalist. The amazing edit, the amazing cars and your beautifully way of speech and passion on what you do is truly admirable and unique.
I love the way the sound of the car is higher than his voice and the soundtrack is very dim in the background... the editing is sublime, one of my favourite journalists and a shiver sending car. Thanks.
I just bought a 2019 GT2 RS...should be delivered next week...to say I am psyched is putting it mildly. Guards Red, Weissach, Magnesium wheels, front lift with CF seats all black with red stitching inside, 3K miles.
Beautiful reflective emotion & overflowing feeling of enjoyment shows how, along with gorgeous cinematography you can re-invent a car review ! Thank you Henry & co.
Great review. I've never driven a car before and probably never will, but this practically put me in the driver's seat and came as close as anything I've seen in a while to make me understand what it would be like to experience the pleasure of it, especially on a road like that. Well done. You guys have got yourselves a new subscriber.👍
I shared your sentiments, Henry, the first time I rode a 1986 GSXR-750 on the streets. Lightweight, powerful, nimble yet stable. That affordable motorcycle revolutionized the sport bike market. This car has the type of performance the new Supra should have aimed for. Thrilling review, well done!
I wanted to watch this yesterday but didn't get time to. Let me say this, it didn't disappoint. Once again you have hit it out of the ballpark. Without a doubt one of my all time favorite automotive journalists and that car made for an enjoyable watch, thank you.
I agree, both very good. Can't believe Rupert Murdoch's DriveTribe only gave them six month contracts, presumably thinking that'd be enough to get the channel off the ground. Big mistake.
I tried to use this as a ASMR video, but I couldn't fall asleep, such nice videos you guys make, seriously couldn't remove that smile from my face until the end. Thank you!
Best video ever! I keep coming back to my favorite video, the car, noises, scenery, Henry Catchpole and of course the spec! The car seems to drive like a dream. From time to time I think about how Im going to be able to buy these type of cars that I honestly LOVE, and it’s a bit saddening because the real people that dream and think about one day being able to afford a car like this are not the ones buying or selling, 80 % of the market on limited edition cars are being acquired by investors who create demand and want to make a quick buck by selling allocations, cars with 0 km, Paint to sample examples and many other ways. The point is that everybody can make whatever they want with their own money but drive them PLEASE! We want to see how beautiful a GT2RS can be.
I think Henry is probably my new favourite car reviewer on the internet now that Chris is gone. The way he explains things is really good, and I always get the feeling there's no way more true to a petrolhead's heart than the words he uses. The way he explained what's so good about manuals with the GT3, and why this car is as good as it is too. Even when he quoted the difference between a Speedster and a convertible. I've never had the chance to drive a Porsche, and I wouldn't be surprised if I'd never get that chance, especially something as brutal as this, but I still have the feeling I've been there. There, where the best Porsches ever were made. The 991.2, the 982, the Taycan, and even the Panamera. Sure, Porsche will continue to make newer, more powerful, more efficient, and undoubtedly faster cars, but I honestly don't think they'll ever top the 991.2 generation 911, though I certainly wonder what the future of the Porsches outside the 911 range will look like.
The wait was worth it, stunning shots. I loved the contrast between the Miami Blue and this lovely country side background. What about emotions ? Always well delivered by Henri so we can imagine what it’s like behind the wheel ! 👌
The content is great! The cinematography and colouring is awesome (congrats to your film producer). Content and production is paramount for engagement ( growing my own channel I find this the most important)and Henry and company always have my vote. Cheers
A special car , beautifully filmed and narrated, being driven in a more realistic situation , showing off its real character , I liked it before your showing and even more since , spot on 👏
I really like the direction this channel has taken recently with Henry's vids. And they just keep getting better. I wouldn't mind it in that blue colour at all, BTW. But I'll have to make due with my old Golf, which I modified with an exhaust leak this last weekend. So at least I'm all set when it comes to the engine note.
I know, very late. But Carfection cideos are currently the best out there. Still know you from my EVO days, but you, Henry Catchpole, are one of the best ethusiast presenters out there.
Beautifully shot from @Carfection - though to be completely honest we have come to expect no less! Great car, great film and top journalism from Henry! Personally prefer the GT3 RS!
This is why I love Porsche!!!! An absolutely beautiful car for the track and the road. I wish I could be there to drive that GT2 RS. Love the Miami blue paint job and the noise coming from the exhaust sounds biblical.
I want henry catchpole to narrate my life
on a serious note, these videos are so well put together! Really enjoy them
@@WillNE Didn't know you were a car enthusiast
@@rio3524 lmao 😂
@@WillNE Well said. Speaking of that, wouldn’t be cool if he made an appearance in petrolicious?
He is good, isn't he?
I am Convinced Cinematography wise there is no better automotive channel on UA-cam
petrolicious comes right behind these guys, the others are kids playing cars
I do like @carswithluke as well.
Evo is awesome too. Check the ECOTY vids 🤟🏻
Doug Demuro
I was noticing that too. Gorgeous

its sad that condescending car volgs get 100k views but awesome content like this gets left behind

Absolute greatness from Henry and Co. Carfection is producing 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Staggering production value, but i still prefer the 9000rpm screaming GT3 with a manual tbh
Yup...waaay better.
Same buddy, same!
I wouldn't be so sure about this since you have probably not driven both (neither have i). The Gt2 rs must be spectacular.
This car could out drive the gt3 easily i will take this epic 911
It is and makes the GT3RS feel rather pedestrian... which it certainly is not!
I've got some salted chips and lube at ready.
WTF hhahahahhaha XD
*Dip into lube and eat it
I would prefer a soft drink to get my salted chips down, but that's just me..
I think the lube would work quite a bit better, actually. I'm just not sure why you would want to put salted chips up your ass.
I want to see all the GT2 cars all the way back to the 993 GT,996 GT2,997 GT2 RS and this driven back to back on a track. A dedicated GT2 video
John Autoblogger a Dutch reviewer had done that. There are English subtitles.
Henry Catchpole and Chris Harris: The best automotive journalists. For me, Henry takes it though
They are absolutely the best two out there, difficult to say which for me is better, just that Henry absolutely nails every review on carfection - motoring journalism at its very finest
Also Steve Suttcliff (sp?). Those are the best three and would make a great television show together.
Dan Prosser and Steve Suttcliff are definitely up there with the best of them.
Nothing touches Chris' UA-cam content, CHoC was that daddy of channels.
Both good but I'd lean towards Catchpole since Harris has become a pantomime character with Joey from Friends on top Gear. I'm sure the money makes the selling out worth it for him though...

such a good review Henry, very well done, oh I wish I could get my hands on a GT2 RS
Put a wing on your GTS and pretend ;) man oh man the want is strong with this GT2 RS.
hey stubones now theres an idea !
Never seen a video on UA-cam with such quality and clarity. Its perfect.

My heart is throbbing watching this thank you, Henry, I needed to cry haven't felt this good in so long.

Thank you for this video. Was well created and shot.
Such great work!! I look forward to each and every video!!! Thank you!!
this colour is phenomenal. i am impressed how it can go in the rain without a lot of sliding, my bmw is always in sideways when it's raining.
FYI - The water tank is not for "water injection" as the M4 CS, its for spraying the intercooler.
I surprised its henry here. I watched him since Evo channel several years ago. Great man!
Great video from the best channel on YT. Keep em coming Henry C

Great review. I like the way Henry's hair was all ruffled after taking off his helmet and then with 2 swift hand movements at perfectly back in place.
I’m so impressed by the camera work that I should really call it ‘cinematography’. Just outstanding!

Fantastic, thank you. Also, very glad to see that you spent the time and effort necessary to keep the sheep out of the way!
What a great film. You guys really are at the top of your game at the moment.
