@@2bdone2 everyone always hates on cover versions of songs they like. without metallicas cover I wouldn't have heard about killing joke so good on them for covering their song
I saw the warm-up gig for this and other festivals KJ were doing that June. 15/6/2016, in a rugby club bar in Corby, with an audience of 250 or so......they opened an unforgettable night with this. I hadn't experienced anything like it for decades - and I saw nearly all the greats in '77 and beyond. This band is still Darkly Magnificent
@@duhusker4383 Thanks for your advice. I know all their stuff. My uncle used to listen to KJ all night long when I was a kid. Wardance and The Wait are my Alltime faves.
Jaz can still be intense as Hell (literally) no matter if it’s in a dark club or outside in the afternoon in the blazing blue sky. I also met him before KJ’s gig at The Paradise in Boston, Massachusetts in 2019 - absolutely wonderful down-to-earth person. Zero rockstar attitude.
Lo que quise decir es que Paul Raven llevo el estilo killing jjoke a prong ( por fin encuentro alguien que le gusta Prong) el disco cleasing es impresionante el sonido y fuerza
Still brutal after all this years.
This song just illustrates how unique they are - no cover version can touch this
Absolutely right. Especially the f....g Metallica cover is just ridiculous.
@@thomasfleischer83 damn I like the cover
@@2bdone2 Even Killing Joke like it :)

What a band, what a song, what a guitarist, singer, bass drums... etc etc
They were untouchable. And the guitar can never be replicated by anyone! Simply too original!
After 40 years one Giant of Metal songs💞
Youth says they are not metal, they are a Black Sabbath cover band. Or maybe he was joking.
I'm a Thrash Metal Fan since 1986 but this song blows everything away.
Pure wrath!🥊
Don't disturb me, I'm headbanging!!!
You should listen to some of their other stuff. Their first self-titled album is incredible.Their output in the 80s is fucking amazing.

Металлика отдыхает !
Jesus, what anenergy, this is insane, Jaz looks great, goooo psyhoooo 🙂
43 years, still warning the impending apocalypse
One of the best versions of this song on the net...great share...
25 years later and this song is still up to date.... a classic that get's never old... love them
The wait is from 1980 so even much older than 25 years but still a perfect song. Yes call it timeless.
Complete take over of the senses. stirs something deep inside. Total relevance 40 years since being penned
0:26 - is this a look a genuine happiness on Jaz's face? I don't think I've ever seen that before.
And at 3:09
I think it's the most beautiful thing for a musician when his songs are celebrated decades later.
I think he was appreciating still being able to do this with his old mates. It really is a fantastic feeling
killing joke was one of the bands that metallica used to listen to
And Nirvana, and Ministry, and, well, most good bands.
Had no idea these guys were such a punk rockin live band - I want to see them live before one of them or all of them leaves planet earth!
I hope you got your wish. RIP Geordie 😢
@@JJ62just read your comment 01.12.2023 - R.I.P
Hopefully you managed it,
RIP Geordie!😪
masterpiece
If Crowley was "the most dangerous man in the world" then this is the most dangerous band.
I love KJ so much
Kevin “Geordie” Walker 🎸!! RIP
Saw them live in Cambridge the other day and they were amazing live! Better than half of the modern day bands!
Yeah I was there and they are!
Jaz, diggin the daylight!!!

I'm going to see them this Friday in Atlantic City NJ, I also can't "THE WAIT" lol
Damn its hard to classify their music a long time ago, its like punk meets new wave. but nnow they can be classified as industrial punk metal

It´s actually Ted Parsons that is behind the kit there, Ben has not played with them since 2008.

Impresionante , suenan muy parecido a Prong banda en la que tocó paul raven...rip.
Amigo, ellos son más viejos que prong y ahí empezó Paul raven, aguante killing joke

Why isn't keyboardist Reza Udhin credited on the Joke's last trifecter of albums?
Think Jaz still writes all their keyboard lines and Reza only comes on board for the live shows.
Dooleeeeyy!
If Jezza had white hair, he'd be a dead ringer for "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. #WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hahahaha
This is awesome .....friggin Fu**in awesome......yeeeaaahhhhhh 👍👍
The singer looks like Severus Snape's and Ozzy Osbourne's lost son...
Change my mind
If Snape and Ric Flair had a child.
'the singer'...
throw Alice cooper in there
Snape/Cooper
@@Why_U_Geh I was looking for this comment haha
Wonder how many of the crowd, believe they (KJ) are playing a Metallica cover?
Probably the younger ones. By the way Metallicas cover is just awful, especially the vocals.
Hahaha very funny
I use polymerization to combine Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper in order to summon... Jaz Coleman
That's not BPF is it???
2015 of course it is I saw them twice that year😂😂🤦♂️
Didn't know Noel Fielding was in a band
