Read the rulebook a few times over the weekend. Really excited to get a campaign going. Such a sleek, but interesting ruleset with the added quirk of being encouraged to murder your own minis from time to time. Hope this gets the attention it deserves!
A buddy of mine just emailed me the PDF of your rules to go over and see if I want to play. This looks amazing I'm about to buy my own copy of the PDF because well I don't mind folks sharing gw's stuff online I'll be dammed if I'm going to stand by well smaller companies lose money over file sharing. This game is the perfect opportunity for me to print a whole bunches miniatures from one of the modeler's I support on patreon. Thanks for making it it's awesome.
I like to think of demons like with giant eagle's wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like a demon band.... and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk!
Cool idea! I'm not well versed in skirmish games, but seems like there are little to none focused on demons & hellscape. I'd definitely check it out when I clear my painting queue of some Marines. It'd be a good excuse to get (&paint) some demons!
I did a slight conversion to LEGO units, streamlined some of the rules and introduced this to my 9 year old son. He loves it, we played two games over the weekend!
Talk about the game to my brothers today. They love it. Both of them bought the book instantly when they learned we can play up to 4 players at the same time.
Hi uncle atom Have a couple rules questions for you: 1. Can a demon move out of combat and attack someone else if within 1/2”? After a charge in a previous turn / within 1”? We have been playing that anyone can leave combat at anytime as there is no “dodge” mechanic in the game 2. For the Madness Demon, when they use their switch combat ability effect, is that the number after the attacker modified the combat score prior to the roll or is it the combat score switches then the attacker can still boost the new combat score by their modifiers? This one has caused some grief playing this already in our group. Have been playing it as after the score is modified which makes the ability seem pretty strong which we assumed was the point? 3. For the stat increase due to triple 1s being rolled, does the gain happen immediately after the roll or can the gain be negated by the substitute of a soul die changing the 1 rolled making the triple change to a double? We have been playing the bonus occurs after modified so could be negated by a soul die. 4. Is there an updated rulebook? We noticed a chart had the devouts reversed and there are a few spelling mistakes Thanks for the help here in advance! These few points have caused some heart burn in our group and once we get clarifying info, we should be set. Love the game and thank you for the original setting and simplistic approach to gaming! It plays awesome and allows for so much creativity. Really appreciate the effort and keep up the great work!
