Hey Kristine, yeah nether rack is a good choice in survival, it's easy to gather up and easy to break so it works well for outlining builds. I usually try to use different blocks to represent different things even in survival, it just makes things a little easier to follow. 👍😀
Very clean and solid style, just enough detail and silhouette. Compared to those who go overboard with wood and all you see is jagged roofs and cluster, unable to tell when a home starts or ends. Well, I like this style because its the style I use too lol.

I love this video because I have been wanting to build a city/town for a while but did know what to do and this gave me a boost of inspiration to build
This guy is sooooooooo underrated I am trying to do some Terra forming to build something like this, any idea how to make land perfect (grass plains) using world edit as smoothing isn't enough.
Hey Luigi, explaining how to terraform is a little tough, probably something i should cover in a video. If you are using world edit I would use the cylinder brush at size 3. Start out using grass and using the brush tool to slowly shape the land. I will try and make a video that can help more but it's hard to explain how to do it in a comment. Maybe share some images on my discord (link in description) and I can advise based on the the shape of your terrain. 😀
This is amazing!!! A friend and i are planning to practice our building skills tmr by making a huge town/village. And u gave some good advice with the roofs or the stone and wood mix.
